About
A cruise around Sydney Harbour is a quintessential experience for visitors to Sydney. With this tour, see Sydney’s skyline at its most magical during an evening cruise and admire illuminated landmarks such as Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. While many cruises offer a buffet dinner menu, this cruise includes a 4-course sit-down dinner, so you can dine in style as you cruise around the city.

The boarding process was very smooth, with a warm welcome. We were given options as to whether we wanted to enjoy a cocktail in the lounge or dinner in the restaurant. We opted for a cocktail.

The lounge area has a relaxed but classy atmosphere. Ordering drinks was a breeze on the cashless app and the drinks arrived promptly. Negroni was lovely, margarita a little sweet. We enjoyed the views whilst chatting and the music was at a nice volume.

We moved to the restaurant area and once again used the cashless ordering app without issue. We thought the live band could either be more upbeat or more of a lounge/jazz feel. The fish was delicious but the quinoa was lacking. The eggplant was fabulous but the chips were cold and the Thai salad had much too much onion.

I'm not sure that we'd visit the restaurant again, but mainly because the lounge was so perfect for enjoying the view and chatting with friends. I think the lounge could be a hit during summer with after work drinks if there was a happy hour special.

Had a great time and look forward to the next voyage!

We did the harbor dinner cruise, and if all you’re looking for is a good view of the opera house and to go under the harbor bridge, this is a great option. It feels very much like you are just another tourist on a boat with a lot of them. The dinner was good and staff were efficient but not engaging. The dining room feels run down. Immediately after dinner, head upstairs to the top and watch the sights to make this trip more pleasant.

Went on the brilliance dinner cruise with my partner last night (Friday 13th). We enjoyed lovely cocktails, a delicious dinner and stunning views for our romantic date night. Thank you to the lovely staff. We had lovely waiters and had a funny gentleman who made us feel very comfortable and accommodated.(If you’re reading this - we loved that window seat!)

Thanks again, such a nice evening and would highly recommend.

Air conditioning didn’t work and the staff sugar coated it saying it just “went down” and did not work for the two hour cruise. The entertainment staff had to fan themselves to cool down. We asked for our meals to be served on the top deck which seemed to be all too hard. It was so damn hot in the restaurant we and others had no choice but to eat up there. The steak was ordered medium and it came out scorched like a rubber thong. Very very disappointing not to mention exorbitant drink prices. Sorry Captain Cook Cruises…… it’s a fail. Won’t be back

This was not a glamorous experience. The food was nice, but the ambience and entertainment are pretty terrible. It's like a floating casino. At that price we were expecting it to be pretty nice. And have wine included.

The ship was fine and comfortable and our deal included wine. The staff were pleasant and helpful. For starter I had raviolini, with parmesan. It was lukewarm. For main, I had duck, which was warm but the asparagus and carrot puree (?), was stone cold. Close to where we were sitting were at least six plates of food, just sitting there for at least five minutes before being served. What could have been an exceptionally enjoyable evening was spoiled by this lack of attention to detail.

I booked this cruise for our annual girls weekend (5 of us). I upgraded to the premium bar package so get a greater selection of beverages. After reading other reviews I was concerned whether it would be good value for money or not because other people said the wait people hardly come near you. That could not have been further from the truth! Our lovely wait lady was awesome and could barely stay away from our table. Every time my glass was nearing empty she knew when to come. It was so funny and excellent service. She was also funny and ensured we had a great time which we did. The band was great. The food was great and all my friends commented on how lovely it was. We have fairly high expectations and this cruise met and maybe exceeded our expectations. We danced, had a great time and were docked probably sooner than we would have liked. Subject to who is in your party, I would probably just get the basic bar package next time. Having said that, at $15 per glass for wine, we certainly all drank enough to cover the costs so all good. I booked about 2 weeks out from the trip and got a window seat so thankful I didn't pay for that. The boat was semi-full and people did have to sit in the middle. At night you can't really see anything anyway so no big deal if you are in the middle. You get to go up on deck anyway. We had the Captains food package as well and the food was lovely. Just as good as you'd get in any fine dining restaurant in our view.

Nice view of the opera house and the bridge, don't waste the money on the opera house tour just go into the restaurant and walk around the public area

So much better than the one in Perth. Our Group of 38 had its own room, with 4 tables. Food was a la carte, we both had prawns to start, a steak then dessert; wine was good and generous. Views while eating were good.
