Overview
Discover the best of Sydney Harbour during this scenic boat cruise from Darling Harbour. Sail past landmarks including Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House; check out waterside mansions, Watsons Bay, and resident penguins; and stop at several beaches for a stroll or a swim. Tours, which depart in morning and afternoon, include light refreshments and a local captain who brings a personal touch to your tour.
Highlights
  • Disembark at beaches like Store Beach, which is accessible only by boat
  • Take a short walk at Watsons Bay to see tall cliffs and lovely ocean views
  • Visit the colonial-era North Head Quarantine Station and museum near Manly
  • Have the chance to swim at one of the stops (towels provided)
What to Expect
Make your own way to Darling Harbour, where you meet your captain and board your comfortable open-top motorized boat. The boat seats 16 people, and has a shade structure and restroom. Set sail and take in classic Sydney Harbour sights including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Manly Head. Look for little penguins at a secluded national park beach, and then stop at North Head Quarantine Station for tea, followed by a walk around the historic settlement and its museum.  Learn from your captain about the stories behind the landmarks, historical sites, and mansions that you pass, and have time at another beach to stroll or swim (towels are provided). You also land at picturesque Watsons Bay and take a short walk for stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and towering cliffs of the Gap. After three hours on the water, your tour ends back in Darling Harbour.

I booked this boat trip for myself, wife and 12-year-old son before leaving the UK. We set off from Darling Harbour on time, and the trip lasted the full 3 hours. We found the crew to be very friendly yet utterly professional, with a safety briefing given at the start of the

I got lucky enough to snag a solo seat on this tour last minute. The boat was clean and comfortable, we saw a TON of things and Zane was knowledgeable about the harbor, wildlife, and geology. My favorite stop was Store Beach, pictured. My favorite tours cover a lot of
