Overview
Visit top food and wine destinations in the world-renowned Hunter Valley on a full-day tour from Sydney. Stop into boutique wineries, a craft brewery, and specialty shops for tastings of locally made products like chocolate, cheese, olive oil, wine, beer, and gelato. You also see native Australian wildlife like kangaroos and koalas on a tour that is hassle-free thanks to your guide, who handles all the driving and details.
What to Expect

Get an early start to meet your guide and small group at the centrally located starting point, where you board your air-conditioned minibus.

On the way to Hunter Valley, stop at the Walkabout Wildlife Park to view native Australian critters such as kangaroos and koalas up close, then snack on morning tea. Continue to the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company’s factory for decadent chocolate and fudge samples.

Upon arrival in the Hunter Valley, stop at Roche Estate, known for award-winning wines, food, and concerts. Your first wine tasting takes place at the vineyard, followed by an on-site cheese tasting. Have time to purchase lunch at your choice of several Roche Estate eateries.

Head to another winery for a second tasting, then sip craft beers at Potters Brewery. After an indulgent day, your Hunter Valley tour ends upon return to Sydney.

I believe we were at the nature reserve for 45-hour. It was a long enough time for us to walk around and see the enclosed animals. They also have trails u could walk but you have to be mindful of time.
