Amazing first time lunch cruise on Sydney Harbour
I would highly recommend this lunch cruise. From boarding through the lunch service the staff were professional, courteous and friendly and the food was delicious.

      Awesome views, subpar tea
The boat ride was wonderful! The tea was just ok. We were given tea bags and hot water. Scones were not great. Overall experience good.

Nice Dinner Cruise in Sydney Harbor
We had made reservations for this cruise several months prior. We had booked a 3 course dinner with seating by the window. We were boarded with the several hundred other people and were seated by the window. The salmon starter was good as was the salad. barramundi was requested for dinner and that was also nice. There were a couple of options for dessert and tastes of both were good. Service was good, but they were very busy. The cruise was 2 hours without any commentary. It was a nice relaxing meal. We did the early dinner and were off the boat by 7:00. There were people waiting to come onboard for a later cruise.

      Good, but could be better.
Boarding process was easy, once we found the ticket office (it was hidden, a bit). Food and beverages were good. Two items kept it from getting a higher value: 1) There was a stage on our deck (cocktails deck, not full meal), but no live music; 2) If there's no live music, some sort of narrative describing items of interest we passed would have been nice.

      Highlight of our Sydney visit.
Wonderful dinner cruise of Sydney harbor. Larger boat; very comfortable. Good food, good service and beautiful views of Sydney harbor. Highly recommended. Buy up for the premium window seating.

      Sydney harbor’s edge zoo
A nice ferry ride across the harbor with wonderful views of Sydney. The zoo was very nice and we really enjoyed the very close up encounters with the kangaroo’s and Koalas. Take the bus to the top and see the zoo from top to bottom unless you have young, strong legs and don’t mind walking uphill.

How can they run morning ferries when the ticket office does not even open until nearly noon?
Very disappointed with Captain Cook Cruises: their schedule listed ferries running from Circular Quay from 08:00 onward, but their ticket office wasn't even open until nearly 10:00 AM! The entire line of tourists waiting for that ticket office to open grew to a ridiculous size, and the inability to travel at their scheduled times threw off our entire planned itinerary for Watsons Bay and Manly that day. We ended up giving up and took the local fast ferry instead to Watsons Bay; as a plus, it runs on the Opal system so there's a maximum limit on how much we would have to pay for travel that day. However, in order to get to Manly from Watsons Bay, we still had to take a private ferry and that afternoon, it ended up being with Captain Cook Cruises. Payment was simple by credit card. The trip was a bit off schedule (late) but the arrival time was close enough to the schedule. (The trip home to Circular Quay, we were able to take a local fast ferry again from Manly.)

      Great location
Great location Walking distance to cruise terminal and all of Quay Circle. Comfortable rooms and toiletries provided. Just be aware you may have to navigate a half floor of stairs on the 6th and 3rd floor - it connects an addition to the old part of the hotel. Not handy if like us you have heavy luggage

      It’s a gorgeous zoo!
The giraffe exhibit overlooking the harbour was incredible. We also loved the Sumatran Tiger exhibit. Wish you had more koalas!

      Sydney Harbor Cruise
Very enjoyable cruise with live narration. Considered other line but did not want to fool with trying to listen to scripted talk on my iphone.

      Great boat ride
This harbor boat ride was perfect for us. We got great views of the Opera House and Harbor bridge. We got off at one stop and had lunch at a waterside restaurant. We enjoyed a nice lunch and enjoyed the water front marina. We finished the day with a stop a Tanonga Zoo. The boat was a great way to see the harbor sights as well as get around.

      All hype and no substance
Below average food, terrible drinks selection for non-alcoholic beverages and the music was like nails on a chalk board. The deck hands were lovely, friendly and personable. Better customer service skills than the service staff. Do not recommend, tourist trap for sure.

      Scenic route
The views from the Harbour were amazing. These are some of the best pictures I have from my trip to Sydney. The boat was on time and clean. The snack were great as well.

Great 4 x Hour Cruise! Great Staff!
Lovely afternoon and a gift from my Daughter and her family in the UK. Great double cruise around Sydney Harbour with a great meal and really friendly staff (including many wonderful Filipinos in the crew - where would medical and hospitality world in particular this world be without the hard working citizens of this nation?) Food was absolutely brilliant. I only had one beer (lunchtime) but being a “Craft” type beer, I am not a fan unfortunately. Vessel is clean (Sydney 2000) is clean, well appointed and well maintained. All in all a lovely 4 x hour cruise.

I booked this trip months ago and the confirmation receipt showed the departure point of Kings Wharf. We arrived at the allotted time to check in to be told that all cruises now depart from Circular Quay. We had insufficient time to get there before the ferry departed. Was made to feel like a liar until I produced their receipt which clearly showed I was telling the truth. I had to request a full refund in the end, this is an apalling service from this business when all it would have taken was an email in advance to tell me of the change!
