I'm not giving this a lower rating because (a) it's my own fault for booking the afternoon tour (I booked too late to get the morning tour) and (b) I liked the tour guide. However, it was quite hot when we went, hot enough that my wife and I agreed she should not go. I was the

This is a no non-strenuous tour that provides a good introduction to Uluru. The weather can be hot and the bugs numerous, but with a headnet and a hat, all is worth it. Our guides Ryan and Anke did an admirable job.

The weather was so hot they should have canceled the tour. Guide Erica was good and knew her stuff but it was too hot to walk even the 20 minutes that we did. I would not recommend this tour in the summer afternoon. I think they also offer it in the morning.

Hi, Thank you for joining SEIT Outback Australia on tour and thanks for taking the time to leave a review of our Afternoon Kata Tjuta Domes tour and our guide Erica. With temperatures in the high 30's to low 40's I can agree that is it hot between the domes in the afternoon, especially when there is limited shade along the trail. SEIT Outback Australia has altered the itinerary of our Domes tour and shortened the Walpa Gorge walk for the health and safety of all our clients during the summer months. As you mentioned above, we do offer a sunrise Kata Tjuta tour which provides the same experiences in the morning as the afternoon tour, without the hotter temperatures. We highly recommend this tour to everyone during the summer months. Again thanks for leaving your review, and we hope you enjoyed your stay in the Red Centre. Cheers, Monica

We took the afternoon tour after flying in from Melbourne. Ellie, our tour guide, drove us out to Kata Tjuta, explains the aborigine culture along the way. Saw a camel along the way. Could only walk halfway into the wind gorge due to the heat. The Kata Tjuta are incredible and
