- CathLeics0 contributionsBook this trip! This was a small group tour which I think is the way to do it, even if you have to spend a little more. Andreas, our guide, was so knowledgeable and a great story teller. Perfect amount of stops around Uluru to hear some tales followed by a great spot to see the sunset with a glass of wine and a few nibbles. I learnt a lot but in a v relaxed way. Highly recommend.Written 19 March 2025
- pierisa20160 contributionsGreat tourFantastic tour. Our guide Tess was excellent. It was great getting to see Uluru and touch the rock without having to walk the whole of the base. The breakfast included was perfect for the early start. Highly recommend.Written 11 March 2025
- Dream519347276630 contributionsMagicalWonderful tour. Excellent guide. Other than the heat while we were at Uluru our experience there could not have been betterWritten 5 March 2025
- TravelmodeEngaged0 contributionsBreathtaking Sunrise Over UluruWhat an amazing experience! The tour was well managed and we arrived at the Uluru viewing area just before sunrise. After taking in the breathtaking sunrise, we visited a couple of other stops and learned the history and significance of Uluru.Written 4 March 2025
- wendycL8643LO0 contributionsWonderful tour, very impressive.Wonderful tour, very informative with guide Max who shared many insightful stories about the history and importance of this site to the Indigenous community. Such an impressive place. Lovely ending with sparkling wine and snacks.Written 1 March 2025
- snl15210 contributionsUluru Rules!Guide "Sunshine Peter" was great. We are very glad we took this tour. Etched in "our one of a kind" experiences. However, we would suggest that: (option 1) the advertised breakfast be dropped off, and waiting at the breakfast spot rather than carrying a satchel! (option 2) At the very least, let the guest pick their breakfast items rather than carrying excess that will probably become wa6ste, ie, milk at the end of the trek. And a stop at the Uluru Cultural Center after the end of the trek would be greatly appreciated and a beneficial add on without add p6th to the cost other then the time used.6Written 27 February 2025
- F7866CYcraigg0 contributionsGreat experience around Ayer’s RockThis was a great experience. Seung the desert and Ayer’s rock as the sun rises is a great. Learned a lot about the region and the aboriginal people in the walks around. I advise anyone going to bring a fly net for your face. A ton of flies that are really annoying. It’s worth the investment v I also could’ve used one on the great ocean road and 12 Apostles in Melbourne.Written 24 February 2025
- Sunshine450854694280 contributionsRachel RocksRachel, our guide, was fun, informative and passionate about the culture, history and geography of the area. She also played appropriate music on our ride back helping us to appreciate their culture. We were so lucky to have her for multiple tours and as our airport driver! She’s a 20 outa 10. Great times.Written 14 February 2025
- williamcA4257MK0 contributionsGreat guide and experienceOur guide was once again great. Small group of 9 and at the end we had wine and some snacks. This is well worth it but remember to bring a fly net for your head because they are out there and a bit annoying. Our guy slowed us down so the group ahead would move on to the next site before we ventured forward.Written 12 February 2025

- 268rosinac0 contributionsSEIT Uluru Highlights Sunrise Tour - wonderful and awe inspiring! The SEIT Uluru Highlights Sunrise Tour was a wonderful experience. We were picked up from our hotel at 5:15am sharp and arrived at Uluru for a spectacular sunrise and an excellent breakfast. I had requested a gluten free breakfast if possible and I was very happy with gluten free muesli. The gluten free banana bread was unexpected and a real treat! Peter, our driver/guide, was friendly and very knowledgeable. He told us lots of interesting stories, facts about the fauna and flora and the changing seasons. An awe inspiring location and tour!Written 8 February 2025
- Wilberlee0 contributionsBucket list tripIf you are fit enough to walk 8 flat miles around the base of Uluru (it’s not that difficult) then I highly recommend you put this trip on your bucket list. Arriving at the rock before dawn, with its massive imposing presence, and then walking around it, learning something of aboriginal culture and stories, watching the rock change colour with the light, minerals and weather flow was wonderful. Our guide Lily was top notch. Memorable.Written 5 February 2025
- Jordan G0 contributionsWorth the wake-up callThe SEIT Uluru Highlights tour was an unforgettable experience! Our guide was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable, making the pre-dawn wake-up call well worth it. While getting up that early is a challenge, the upside is that you’re back at your hotel in time for breakfast. Watching the sunrise over Ayers Rock during the breakfast stop was absolutely breathtaking. The food itself (coffee, tea, and pastries) was decent enough, but the real star is the spectacular view. The short walk around part of the rock was both informative and manageable, even in the height of summer. The drive around the base was another highlight, giving a rare opportunity to see the rock from multiple angles—something you don’t fully appreciate from the resorts. Throughout the tour, we learned a detailed history of Uluru and its deep significance to the local Aboriginal people, adding even more depth to the experience. The sheer awe-inspiring beauty of the rock is something that must be seen in person. Highly recommend this tour!Written 3 February 2025
- SarahB4470 contributionsTrue Outback Experience and dinner too!We had such a fantastic time on this tour of Mt Conner and the Curtain Spring cattle station. We only had four people on our tour and Max our guide was fantastic. His enthusiasm for the culture, wildlife, and scenery really showed his passion for the landscape and culture in the area. If you want something off the beaten path and different from the tours in Uluru take this one! It was amazing!Written 28 January 2025
- V3844FDfranka0 contributionsLovely small group tour at Uluru with sunset sparkling wine.We really enjoyed our tour at Uluru. This was a small group of 11 total. Our driver Hailey picked us up at our hotel and gave all of us clear directions and informative commentary along the way. We stopped at the park entrance to purchase our park passes for those that didn’t already have one. The national park entrance fee was the only added fee that was not included. We stopped at the cultural center for information, restrooms and a gift shop. We then toured around Uluru and took two short guided walks up to the waterhole and the caves areas. Cold fresh water was provided. Then we stopped at the sunset viewing area where Hailey set up a table with light snacks and provided sparkling wine and nonalcoholic drinks while we watched Uluru change to bright red-orange as the sun set. Highly recommend this tour.Written 23 January 2025

This tour was our first encounter with our Italian tour guide Andreas who loves the indigenous culture & Kata Tjuṯa and supplies the group with what seems like endless interesting knowledge. His career experience as a tour guide shown through & he loves to learn more about the culture & the land to enable him to enhance the tour. The walks on the tour weren’t always flat & smooth however he was great in keeping the group together & assisting my wife with some of the more difficult & steep terrain.
The sunrise tours (with a delicious breakfast) are a great idea in the Aussie summer, so you can finish them before it gets too hot which was ideal with a young family. I highly recommend this tour for all & it was a great introduction to the area & the culture.

We had a wonderful experience in Uluru and enjoyed both this tour and a small group Uluru sunset evening tour with wonderful guide Rachel. Rachel was friendly and so welcoming. Having previously been a guide in the Blue Mountains, she had only been on staff for a couple of months but she had already learned volumes about the history of Kata Tjuta, the plants and "bush tucker;" and the people of the First Nations - their traditions, stories, beliefs. We learned a lot from her and loved exploring Kata Tjuta National Park and the Olgas. She made delicious raisin toast with cereal and fruit and hot coffee at sunrise and offered champagne and fresh bread chunks to dip in oil, vinegar, and Dukkah as we watched the changing colors of Uluru at sunset -- from brown to bright orange to muted shades as the sun began to set. The blues, pinks and purples in the sky behind created an unforgettable experience, all the richer because of Rachel's love and deep respect for this sacred place. We'll never forget it! From the early start at 5am until drop off back at the resort, SEIT look after every single one of their guests. We were taken to a raised platform to view the sunrise over Kata Tjuta and Uluru (in the distance).
Kata Tjuta is sometimes missed, but when you get there it simply takes your breath away. Stunning. Spiritual. Our guide (Matty) was very approachable and friendly telling us a few stories about Kata Tjuta. We stopped for a light breakfast of raisin toast, cereal, fruit and cups of tea/coffee/juice where our tour group came together for a leisurely chat and relaxing breakfast. Some of us even used a "drop toilet".
After breakfast we drove closer to Kata Tjuta and trekked to Walpa Gorge. The trek was rated moderate and it quite uneven and rocky in parts but our guide took us through at a nice leisurely pace stopping many times for tips/stories and the best photos.
Overall this was an amazing tour, made even better by our guide Matty who made sure we were comfortable and hydrated throughout the tour. This was my first tour with SEIT and I am very impressed - their guides are amazing and the small group means you get more personalised service with more time/flexibility at these sights.

Very good tour with nice views of Kata Tjuta and Uluru in the distance. Connie our guide was great! Our tour included a hike thru Walpa Gorge which has some interesting geology and then breakfast. First time we tasted vegemite. Pick up was early. It was fun to me to drive thru the outback in the pure darkness of early morning. We had some nice views of the sunrise but it was a cloudy day so colors were kind of muted. Be advised that you need to purchase a national park permit which is not included in the tour. You can do this online. Overall a very pleasant morning.

The sunrise breakfast tour to Kata Tjuta was an easy and informative morning with beautiful sunrise views of both Uluru and Kata Tjuta from a viewing platform that is the first stop on the tour. On the way to the viewing platform our guide John began what would become an engaging and interesting commentary on the history and the geology of Kata Tjuta. John was excellent with his knowledge and his friendly professionalism. He catered for everyone in the group, ranging from our young kids to the more mature crowd, with his rapport. We stopped for breakfast at a picnic area with perfect views of Kata Tjuta. Breakfast was muesli, fruit cups, tea/coffee/hot chocolate and raisin toast, which John laid out very nicely with table clothes and a little gas powered camp stove. We then got back on the Mercedes sprinter bus and arrived at Walpa Gorge where we made a short but rocky climb to a beautiful vantage point, taking breaks to here more about the geology. Afterwards we climbed back down and returned to the resort in the bus. On the return journey we learnt about the history of land rights in the area and more about the Anangu people's experience. Overall it was a very comfortable and fascinating experience. Highly recommend.

We did this excursion on the same day we then went to Uluru at sunset. On both tours our guide was the fantastic Serena: she is enthusiastic, friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable! He really shows a lot of passion for his work and transmits it fully! The hike was very beautiful and we learned many things about the formation of these mountains and Uluru. It is interesting that during the kata tjuta tour a lot of geological and naturalistic information is provided, while during the uluru tour there is more focus on the history of the natives. Doing both tours makes the experience truly complete! The breakfast time in the picnic area was very nice because given the small number of tour members (maximum 11 people) it was an excellent opportunity to exchange a few words and get to know each other a little. Absolutely recommended!

Matty at SEIT Tours led our group for a sunrise tour of Kata Tjuta in Australia and was a fantastic guide! He was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to have as our guide for the beautiful sunrise experience. The breakfast he prepared for us was great, as we learned the secret of cooking in the windy, fly-filled outback! We highly recommend SEIT Tours and you are lucky if you get Matty for your guide. Thank you, Matty, for a memorable experience.

This is the way to see Kata Tjuṯa NP. We had 11 people plus our guide Andrea. We instantly became friends and had many connections. One couple even lives 40 min away from us in New York. Andrea provided a welcoming environment and it helped to make the day more enjoyable. The picnic breakfast was really special. The location was beautiful and made for a gorgeous backdrop for photos and conversation. We all tried vegemite for the first time (and hated it). The walk to Walpa Gorge was moderate but easy because we took a slow pace.
When we got back to town square we immediately went to the SEIT desk with another couple to ask about booking the sunset tour to Uluru. Unfortunately it was all booked and we had to join the big bus coach with a different tour company. Simply not the same as the small group with SEIT.

Agree with others that you need walking shoes - not the sort of walking shoe you would need on Alpine style terrain just a lightweight shoe to keep the critters off your toes and to stop you slipping on the rock. Remember some form of fly protection such as a net ..... Interestingly they are just annoying - they dont seem to bite

The whole resort including links to airport are co-ordinated. The tour people will be able to tell you if this connection will work. I think they asked us if anyone was flying that day.
We got back about 11.00. Personally it would be too tight for me .. but they may be happy to comit to get you to the airport on time.

We would like to book this tour but is possible to go instead back to the airport and not to the hotel? We have the flight at 13.50 so we can be there at around 12.00.
