So happy to hear you had such a great time on the Uluru base walk with Imogen. Thank you for coming out and visiting us in the red centre. Better yet, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on our Trek tour. We really appreciate it. Cheers, Monica

Worth it!
Our guide Conor was great. Highly knowledgeable and very friendly. On time pick up from the hotel. I learnt so much about the rock and the Dreamtime. It was extremely fascinating. The breakfast ruck sack was full of delicious goodies to keep you going on the 12km walk. Would highly recommend this tour.

Walk around the Rock
May 2021
THIS WAS AN EXCITING ,EDUCATIONAL AND A INSPIRATION TO GET FIT . Starts off just before sun rise there was about 34 in this group all ages .When the sun rises you see the rock light up just awesome .we had a your guide and she give us the story at certain parts of the walk .After abut 2 hours moderate to brisk walking we had a mini breakfast sitting on stools around the coach .Gary the driver gave us the history of the rock . Then about 2 hours more looking at caves rock paintings water holes we got back to the coach where we were given a certificate of our achievement .Was about 10 km and about 20.000 steps ,all level walking ,but having a guide made more interesting her personal memories i could picture how things would have been . Good to do in a group dosent seem so far .Lots of photos too.

Great tour!
Anyone with a pass to the national park could’ve easily done the walk themselves (flat and easy 12km) but it was fantastic to hear about the history and culture behind the significant site!

The tour was very well organised- the bus was comfortable and punctual, and the tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was provided in a little pouch you carry yourself which included muesli, milk, fruit cup and some sachets for tea and coffee and hot chocolate. Also provided was a flask with hot water which was a nice touch considering it was such a windy and cold morning!

Would recommend this tour for those wishing to learn about the rock!

Great way to see Uluru
This was a wonderful walk around the base of Uluru. Our guides Dillon and John were knowledgeable about the indigenous history of ‘The Rock’. I was in awe of the natural beauty of the area and that was enhanced by the stories from the original inhabitants they told.

Great Tours
We did two tours with SEIT during our time at Ayres Rock. Both tours we had Connor as our guide. Connor was very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. He made an effort to talk to everyone and make them feel comfortable. We did the Uluru Trek which is the twelve km around the base of the rock. The walk was very easy and flat. There was varying ages up to 75 on our tour. I really enjoyed this tour and the different stories and ever changing look of Ayres Rock. Breakfast was provided in a satchel which we carried and was cereal, muesli bar, fruit cup, cookies and coffee. The second tour we did was Kata Tjuta. The sunrise which we viewed from a platform was spectacular. We then went to a picnic spot for breakfast which consisted of cereal, toast, fruit cups and coffee. The walk in to Walpa Gorge was fairly easy although a little rocky. Overall two great tours.

Beautiful morning walk at Uluru
Apr 2021 • Couples
Really loved this small group tour, even though I am not a fan of getting out of bed early. Our guide, Connor, was knowledgeable and had a good balance of keeping the group moving and also having time to linger a little. He was informative but didn’t over talk. We didn’t see many people in the first part of the walk, it was very moving feeling like we were at this iconic location almost on our own. Breakfast is provided in a bag for you to carry, cereal, hot drink, juice, fruit and some snacks. Highly recommend this tour, you learn a lot more than doing it on your own and it’s a comfortable 12km walk.

Putting the Ooh! in Uluru 😉
5am was a rude awakening but Connor from SEIT tours was going to make it all worth it. He picked us up in a comfy new bus at 5:45. When he introduced himself as an ex-plumber who fell in love with the NT on this exact tour only to make it his goal to become a tour guide we knew we had picked a winner.
He knew every nook of the rock and could answer all our questions. He showed amazing cultural sensitivity and also a unique knowledge of and love for Uluru and the Anangu community.
On top of this, the SEIT breakfast was actually delicious, and getting up early had allowed us to enjoy the first few hours of the tour alone and in complete serenity (gotta love that serenity).
Thank you Connor and SEIT tours for a truly unforgettable day that allowed a return in time for lunch! (followed of course by a cheeky nap).
If you are after a fun, beautiful and thorough experience of the majesty of Uluru let me commend SEIT to you.

Amazing tour
I’ve just returned from an excellent base walk of Uluru with our guide, Ryan. I was a little hesitant at 5am with a 12km walk ahead of us, but I’m so glad I did it! I had originally booked the breakfast and sunrise tour that would had me sitting in a bus, driving near Uluru, and getting the view, but I’m so glad the tour was cancelled and I was booked on this one.

Getting up close to Uluru was amazing and I loved it more as the tour went on. The walk is a long one. We were picked up at Sails at 5am abs reigned just after 11am, but it’s an easy flat walk and being that close to Uluru is something I never thought I’d experience. I’d definitely do it again.

Ryan was a great guide. He was knowledgable and regularly stopped to tell us Tjukurpa stories, as shared by the Anangu peoples. I always knew that Uluru was a sacred site to the Anangu, but I hadn’t heard any of the Tjukurpa stories that Ryan shared and it definitely helped me to see how significant Uluru is to the culture and history of the Anangu.

As mentioned in other reviews, make sure you take a large bottle of water with you, at least a 1.5lt bottle, a hat and a fly net. I’m glad I had my net as the flies were annoying by the end.

A definite ‘must do’

I done Uluru Sunset & Kata Tjuta tours with John
in the past few days and just done Uluru base walk with Dan today. After experiencing 3 different tours with them, I can clearly say that they are really good. I quite enjoyed being in a small group, John and Dan are really informative, helpful and friendly.
I shouldn’t skip John’s amazing photo skills too🙏🏼❤️
