Despite having a hire car we chose to take the Hop On/Hop Off bus on our second day to get the feel for the city. It turned out to be a great decision as we soon worked out what areas we would revisit. Highly recommend.

Without a car it is difficult to see the Darwin sights as they are spaced all over. The drivers were kind and helpful and the bus ran like clockwork. The taped announcements were useful, corny and some a bit out of date. Two good days.

Being a local, I love steering tourists towards value attractions so took this tour with a friend to see how it was. The historic comment is both true and interesting and the driver goes all out often explaining attractions to people when they get off...More

Very friendly staff from the ticket guy to the two drivers we had on our day tickets. On time, great commentary and well planned circuit around Darwin main attractions.

The round tour gave us a feel for the whole place and we were able to go back and revisit a few. A good way to get your bearings.

When we visited in March of this year we got the bus at the cruise terminal and paid the driver for our tickets.

You can buy tickets at any stop from the driver when you hop on the bus. Most passengers buy tickets at the terminal of the Hop On Bus - Stop No 1 - outside the Darwin Tourist Information Centre

No, the Darwin Hop on Hop off bus is not air conditioned. Plenty of open windows.
