Explore the Great Barrier Reef on a 3-day guided tour that includes a full day on Lady Musgrave Island, part of the southern portion of the Great Barrier Reef. Depending on the time of year, you can spot turtles and visit one of the world's largest turtle research centers, learn about turtle conservation, or look for humpback whales out on the water. After a cruise to Lady Musgrave Island, opt to snorkel, swim, or take a ride by glass-bottom (included), or try your hand at scuba diving or deep-sea fishing (own expense). Round-trip transport from the Gold Coast, Brisbane, or Sunshine Coast, most meals, and a 2-night stay at an eco-friendly beachside resort in Bargara are included.
What to Expect
Following pickup from Brisbane Transit Centre, Mantra On View Hotel, or Big Pineapple Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, travel to an eco-friendly resort located on the beach, stopping at a reptile park and zoo on the way. From the resort, spend a day cruising to and experiencing the Great Barrier Reef and Lady Musgrave Island, where you can add activities such as scuba diving or deep-sea fishing, or view the coral reef while snorkeling with provided equipment. . Spend two nights in your choice of a private room or shared accommodations. Each day, you can choose from included and optional activities, or opt to enjoy the beach and some free time.
