You must do it with Dreamtime
Dreamtime is so amazing, such a happy cruise. The aboriginal fellows just have all those presentations to keep you entertained and intruduce their beautiful culture to you.

We got to snorkel two sites...I got to see sea turtle, clam and all different kind of colorful fishes and plants.

The lady took us reef safari first to help us get used to snorkelling then I tried scuba diving for the first time with my wonderful instructor Jordan. At the second time I was very confident to snorkel by myself.

The cruise provides bacon&egg roll when you get aboard, then buffet lunch and some muffin and dragon fruit for dessert.

Anyway, I got to realise my dream with my energetic and bubbly instructor Jordan. I strongly recommand it to anyone who is looking to see the Great Barrier Reef.

Incredible!

AMAZING! Staff were incredible, patient, kind and caring which is exactly what I needed for my first time scuba diving! I wouldn't have been able to do it without their kindness and patience.
On board the staff were so lovely to talk to and shared so much knowledge around Indigenous Culture which was incredible to learn about.
The boat itself was spacious, great facilities on board and the included food and drinks were great.
It was great to experience this part of Australia whilst learning about the Indigenous Culture.
Also would love to give a special mention to Tala he shared a lot of great knowledge and was super friendly to all guests!
Staff ensure everyone has a great time and I honestly can not speak more highly of this company. Such an incredible experience

Absolutely fantastic experience - highly recommend it!

Wow what a great way to experience a day snorkeling on the outer barrier reef! The crew were friendly, helpful and really knew their stuff. The indigenous theme - with demos of didgeridoo playing, traditional dancing and personal stories makes this tour stand out from the others on offer. in summary - great people - great food - great experience.

Jul 2020 • Friends
There are so many tours to do of the Great Barrier Reef so finding the right one was hard for us, but we are SO happy we decided to do this tour. The staff were so so friendly (TK, Laz, Will, Adam and all the rest) the Coral was amazing and my friend and I had our first diving experience which we were very nervous about but the guide Adam (and the two other men who helped us get ready for our dive) made us feel very safe! I hate those tours where it’s not clear what you’ve paid for and you spend the entire time having to purchase add ons throughout the day just to have a good time, this was nothing like that and the experience was very genuine, humble and there was no up selling at all. They had beautiful presentations from Marine Biologists as well as indigenous information that was insightful. Overall an AMAZING experience and if you’re looking for a tour I highly recommend this one!

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. I had the most incredible day and met so many wonderful people onboard.

Upon arriving at the boat we were first welcomed by the friendly photographer, who took photographs all day long that we would later get the option to purchase if we wished.

After having welcome photos, we were welcomed onboard by the rest of the incredible crew. Each and every one of them greeted you with a smile while efficiently providing the necessary gear for the day (i.e. flippers, snorkel and stinger suit). There was also complimentary tea and coffee while we waited for everyone to arrive.

Once everyone was onboard we set off and the crew introduced themselves and gave us a bit more information about the day.

The Indigenous Sea Rangers were an absolute delight (as were the rest of the crew!) And throughout the day provided an array of engaging musical performances and talks. Everyone was in such high spirits and it really did add to the wonderful experience.

We went to two beautiful sites where we were able to snorkel our lives away (or just hang out on the boat). There was also a glass bottom boat tour available free of charge. In addition there was a marine biologist onboard who offered guided snorkel tours at an additional cost, but was also more than happy to point out where some of the more popular fish were *cough* Nemo.

Now for the scuba diving... At the very start of the trip those of us who were doing the scuba dive were asked to gather around some reserved tables where we got introduced to some of the dive instructors and informed about the equipment, a lite bit of science (nothing too scary!) and allocated time slots for our dives. This was great as it enabled us to feel more informed about what the dive will entail and how it will feel.

When my time to scuba dive came I was going through all the emotions (because you know, breathing under water seems weeeeird) but the friendly crew were always there for reassurance and
to answer every question. We were in small groups of no more than 3 with a qualified instructor.

After getting to grips with the breathing apparatus we slowly entered the water, with professional support around us at all times. We had a couple of small tasks to perform before we could proceed with the dive to ensure we were capable which was reassuring as it meant we weren't just going to get thrown in! Once our instructor was happy with our capabilities (and of course we were happy to commence) the dive officially began. I can't fully remember how long it was, but it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life in the most beautiful location. My instructor, Jordan, was amazing and constantly checking we were okay *cue hand signal* and supported us the entire time.

Another thing I would like to add, I made a friend on the boat and when it came to the dive time she panicked a bit, however a wonderful member of dive staff took her aside, talked to her for a bit and managed to convince her to proceed with the dive 1:1 and she was SO glad she did it.

After finishing at the second site the marine biologist performed a small fish feeding presentation which was great fun to watch. We then headed back to Cairns, once again with plenty of educational
entertainment for the duration of our journey (if people didn't want to participate though or watch the performances they didn't have to).

As we pulled into the harbour there was a final goodbye performance to ensure everyone finished the day on a high!

I honestly cannot recommend Dreamtime Dive and Snorkel enough. I would give a shoutout to each and every one of the staff members however I can't quite remember all their names so just take my word that they were all amazing!

I hope this review helps somebody, and if any staff read this, THANK YOU FOR THE BEST DAY EVER :-D

Finally I had a picture with Nemo in the exceptional reef tour with Dream time! The aboriginal performance during on board and off board is a plus in the tour. Definitely recommend Flynn Reef ,which is the second site on the tour ,the water is so clear and looks blue all around. Enjoyed our time with Dreamtime

The best Reef Tour I could have hoped for
Jan 2020
The crew were fantastic and the ethos of the tour company is really wonderful. They introduced us to each member of the crew and their hertiage when we arrived and throughout the day the crew shared stroies from their culture and family traditions and there were even some amazing performances, pieces of artifacts to learn about, dancing and music. I wasnt traveling with kids but the kids on the boat really loved this part of the experience.

They took us to some really nice reef areas and there was plenty of time for all activities including snorkling, glass bottom boat (recommend this even just for the stories) and diving.

It was my first diving experience and there were just 3 of us to one diving instructor which I thought was great and she was very calm and caring. I felt very safe and secure and enjoyed the experience.

Also the food was fantastic. As a vegetarian I found their food options to be really really great, best food I've had on a tour yet- really nice and varied salads, veggie lasange and noodles, fresh fruit. Also some snacks provided throughout the day.

Thank you all for a great day. Special thanks to Sissy, Laz, Blake,Tally for their stories and performances and to Mandy, Paul and Martin for the diving and to Andera (they have a marine biologist on board!) for her knowledge about the reef (sorry if I missed anyone!) You were all a fantastic crew.
