Overview
Make the most of your time in Melbourne with a private customizable tour designed to suit your group of up to eleven people. With your guide, plan your half-day or full-day tour, choosing from options such as a city tour with St Kilda and Fitzroy; seeing native Australian animals at the Healesville Sanctuary or Phillip Island penguin parade; tasting wines in the Yarra Valley; or exploring the Great Ocean Road. Your private guide provides an informative tour for your group of family, friends or business colleagues.
What to Expect
Your half- or full-day private tour begins with pickup at your accommodation in the Melbourne central business district (CBD) by your private guide. For 1-7 passengers, the vehicle is a 2017 Mercedes Valente (subject to availability), and for groups larger than 7 passengers, the vehicle is a 2017 Renault Master (subject to availability).

With the flexibility to design your own itinerary, your sightseeing adventure can feature many possibilities, such as a shopping tour, a visit to the Healesville Sanctuary to see Aussie animals, a trip to either the Yarra Valley or Red Hill region to enjoy local wineries, or checking out the famous little penguins of Phillip Island. Perhaps head to the Great Ocean Road, or explore Point Nepean and the Mornington Peninsula. Or, enjoy a general tour of Melbourne to see city attractions and suburbs like St Kilda, Fitzroy, South Yarra, Toorak, and Brighton.

Prior to your tour, you’ll talk to your guide to decide exactly what you want to do during your seven or eleven hours of time with him or her. After your tour, you may take advantage of your guide’s concierge skills for the duration of your time in Australia or New Zealand at no extra charge.

Since it’s a private tour in a car or a van, you should be fine. Just make sure you let the tour guide know ahead of time about anything you need to do.

In January we flew from LA to Auckland then to Melbourne...took forever to get through customs....airport was very understaffed and very chaotic. It would be risky to try to take a 4 hour tour.
