It was so professional, smooth, friendly and amazing from the get go. They genuinely love these whales, it shows when they speak about them throughout the tour. They have personal stories about how they have interacted with them and are so knowledgeable. I will tell everyone to give this tour a go because it’s a 10/10 and worth every penny. Family ran business and such lovely, genuine people. It was a pleasure meeting them all. The lovely Steph was outstanding. Always asking if we’re okay, need anything at all, photos .. anything! The captain is the man! Lovely guy who is up for a laugh. Well done guys. And thank you for an amazing trip! Will definitely be back. Thanks guys, cheers! Brooke& Angie.

We had an excellent day on the water in search of humpback whale sightings. It was our choice to go in late August, which we knew was near the end of the season. Regardless, we had some good sightings of a group of three humpbacks. Despite the rough seas it was all very exciting. We also enjoyed watching a group of albatross elegantly wheeling through the air behind the boat.
The boat was very comfortable and the crew were excellent. As I said, the sea was very rough on the day we went out, but the crew did their best to keep us all safe and comfortable. A bonus was getting an email afterwards with professional photos of all we saw on the day. Once I realised we were getting this I stopped trying to take pictures and just enjoyed the experience.
If we did this again we would seriously consider the Captain's Lounge Upgrade. It looked pretty nice in there.

So many whales! We were blessed to see competition pods racing around, breaching, huffing, and tail flapping. The lady commentating on the activity was amazingly knowledgeable, full of fascinating information. It was however a little rough, and many got sea sick (including myself) however, those who were sick were beautifully cared for by very attentive staff. Don’t let sea sickened hold you back! Great trip for teens too!

It was such a good experience. The Staff were so knowledgeable, even if we had not seen any whales it would have been a great experience. The boat was big and very comfortable, with plenty of room to move around, or just sit.
We were so lucky and saw a whale feeding on a shoal of bait fish. Yes I thought that whales only eat plankton, but not all the time, they sometimes eat these small fish. We were also lucky enough to see a mother and baby whale. The mothers are so protective of their young.
It was a wonderful 2 hours spent and I would highly recommend it.
We were on an afternoon tour out of Augusta.

Thank you so much for your kind words, it was such a special afternoon to sight both a feeding juvenile Humpback and Humpback mother and calf which are unusual sightings for Flinders Bay but a great example of how exciting and unique working with wildlife can be! We hope to welcome you onboard again in the near future and wishing you the safest of travels ahead till then😊

I booked late in the whale watching season so knew no whales was possible. I hadn't realised that this means I could go again or (I go back to Scotland in 2 days) pass my ticket on for my Aussie hosts to use because seeing whales is guaranteed. Brilliant deal.
The trip was still worth it as we saw several pods of dolphins, a baby hammerhead shark and a basking loggerhead shark.
The running commentary was outstanding- I learned a lot about what we did see and about the elusive whales.
I upgraded to Captain's lounge which was worth every cent and included the company of the Captain's very handsome dog in his First Mate's uniform (Albie can be removed but why would you?). Drinks and snacks too.
The photos on the website (Daily Whale) are better than mine but I still got some nice ones...

Lovely boat with a variety of viewing areas including sitting up with the captain with great viewing. Friendly and professional crew. Tea and coffee available. Great commentary throughout tour and learnt a lot about whales and their behaviour which was really interesting and you could hear regardless of where on the boat you wete. Saw lots of whales - shame we missed some breaching but thats nature and cant be controlled. Overall a great morning by very professional crew and would highly recommend. Only thing that could have made it better - if i could have patted the resident dog 😁

Fantastic trip. The family crew members were hospitable, highly knowledgeable, professional and above all great fun. Their aim was to ensure you experience was as good as possible. They offered a very informative commentary on the whales, provided access to the professional photographs taken on each tour and offered free beverages on board. I would definitely recommend this trip to all.

My sibling book the whale watch tour for the 8 of us and we enjoyed it incredibly. From checking in, to on board services, the service was impeccable. There were snacks and drinks on boards, and bags in case you feel nausea halfway thru e trip.

It’s a family run business and the crew on board were so friendly. When people at the front row are standing instead of sitting when the whales appear, they will remind them to sit down so that everyone is given a chance to see the whales. These small gestures definitely adds to the extra service standards.

The entire ride was very educational!

The ferry was also in tip top condition, much better than a few others that I have taken overseas.

Unforgettable experience.

PS: u may need some medication if u have sea sickness.

We really had a great day, despite it being cold, windy and cloudy which is to be expected in August.
We were incredibly lucky with the sightings of a number of Southern Rights, very close to the boat.
The vessel itself was amazing, really premier, and the tea, coffee and biscuits were really appreciated on the cold morning we had.
The booking experience through Leanne was second to none, she kept in touch to advise us the best day to go out weather wise and followed up before our visit.
The entire family was lovely.
Thank you

Hi Elise Thankyou for appreciating the time & effort we spend on providing a quality tour and service for the south west of Australia. We do love hearing back from our guests and as a small family business it is inspiring to know that we are on the right track, which would be difficult to know without feedback like yours. Thank you very much
