Tim was an amazing host, we enjoyed our day so much! Especially enjoyed our visit to Margaret River Chocolate Company! Would definitely recommend this tour to anybody!

Tim showed us around Perth and we learnt lots about Perth and the wildlife of Western Australia from him! Group size was about 10 pax and the pacing of the tour was perfect. I would definitely recommend engaging Best of Perth Tours if you visit Perth!

Went on a private family trip with Upclose & Local tours and were blown away by the beautiful grounds and orchards of Bickley Valley! The autumn colours were fantastic and we took many beautiful pictures together. Lunch at Cider Garden was fantastic too. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic day out with Tim. He was a wealth of information about the surrounding district and the wineries themselves. The wineries chosen were carefully picked for a fabulous boutique experience supporting family run businesses. Lunch was great and it was really nice to be a part of a small group. We absolutely recommend spending a day with Tim.

Fantastic small tour, one of the best I have been on. Tim was superb as our host and driver, being both very knowledgeable and personable. With only 6 of us on our tour it reminded me how good small tours are for wine and foodie experiences. The 3 wineries we visited had a wide range of wines to taste and the people were passionate about their wines and very friendly. We also had a really great lunch at Core Cider restaurant, along with the cider tasting. Bickley Valley, with its boutique vineyards, is so different to Swan Valley and Margaret River. It's not as well known, but well worth it, with a number of different wines only available at the vineyards. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to try some different wines and enjoy an extremely good day out.

This small group tour is one of the best day tour Ive taken. Not only was I picked up right from the hotel door Tim the owner of the company actually guides and escorts his own tours. He does this to ensure 100% quality and ensure everyone is well informed and looked after. Being a small group we were able to visit and experience some of the oldest wineries and meet the generations of families that have run these smaller wineries that the big groups can’t access. The wine, tastings, cheese platter and lunch was way more than expected. It was such a personal experience and Tim was a fantastic guide I would recommend this tour to everyone.

The best tour in Perth! Tim is very knowledgeable about The Swan Valley and will show you some interesting wineries. He is fun and friendly and I’d definitely recommend this tour.

The tour started spot on time and Tim, our guide, welcomed us like long lost friends. In fact it wasn't long before we felt like we had known him for years. We visited 4 craft breweries, all different in their own way and all with a varied selection of beers and some ciders. There didn't seem to be any time pressure at all and the tour was very relaxed, plenty of time to savour all the beers available. We had a very enjoyable lunch at the second brewery, in pleasant surroundings, complimented by the beer. Tim always made sure we well looked after. A most enjoyable, relaxed and enlightening (the range of beers was impressive) tour that we would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone keen on craft beers. Well done Tim.

4 vineyards visited in one day was just perfect for tourists wanting to get most of their time ! Also meeting new people at lunch was wonderful as the tour was so multicultural ! You would be able to taste a variety of reds and whites as well as sparkling and fortified wines and if you wish you might be able to buy them on the spot !

Tim was a very knowledgeable and personable your guide. We visited 4 great, boutique wineries and received great quality wine and food, interspersed with good chat and knowledge about each winery on the drive between. Max 10 people per tour means that there's no getting lost in a huge number of people. An excellent experience from pick up to drop off. Also received a text a few days later thanking us for coming on the tour and remembered details of our situation. You don't get that level of personal service from a big tour. If you like wine and like a personalised and knowledgeable tour then Best of Perth VIP wine tour is the one for you. Without a doubt.

Excellent tour by Tim Took in three wineries where we met the owners wife and the owner/blender. Great commentary without being intrusive. Catered for our needs and the mini bus was big enough to hold all the wine we came away with. Would we go again.. Yes. Discover Bickley Valley if you want a change from the “big boys” in Swan and Margaret River. Only thing missing was a Chocolate Factory :-)

The tour was excellent, Tim really knows the area and has a good wine knowledge as well. Tim was just so friendly & easy to get along with. The day was the perfect length for me, it didn't feel rushed at all & each winery was ready for us. I would definitely recommend this tour & will be bringing of my overseas visitors.
