About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Lois1313130 contributionsReliable local operatorLocal tour operator running smaller tours so if you want to avoid the big buses, this is the guide for you. Have a good selection of tours and are professional and flexible (I booked for 4 of the tours).Written 8 March 2025

- Navigator6064020 contributionsInteresting and fun!Fred was a great guide! He was friendly and knowledgeable! We had a wine tasting and visited a delicious chocolate factory. The wildlife park was great — saw animals we hoped to see in Australia — kangaroos, koalas, and Tasmanian devils. Fun afternoon!Written 10 January 2025

- JohnL3060 contributionsRelaxed and informative half day tour from Perth.Interesting cave and good views of kangaroos and koalas. The cave guide was very knowledgeable. Also learnt a lot from the tour guide. Half a day was about right for this tour. Can also combine it with a visit to the Pinnacles desert to make a full day but I didn’t do it as I’d been to the desert before. Hotel pickup was very convenient.Written 18 November 2024

- ilariaf8670 contributionsFantastic half day in Caversham Wildlife Park and Swan ValleyFantastic experience in Caversham Wildlife Park and Swan Valley. Mary of Aussie Perth tours gave us possibility to fully appreciate Wildlife Park according to our interests. We also had possibility to have good wine and chocolate tasting in two farms of Swan Valley. We suggest to do this tour with Aussie Perth tours.Written 20 September 2024
- PaulW78410 contributionsHalf-Day Swan Valley & Wildlife Park Tour, a pleasant surprise short journeyMy friend arranged this half day tour for me, on the understanding that I had just taken a long and exhausting 18-day journey from Darwin to Broome. a flight from Broome to Perth and a 4-day tour to the Pink Lake area. It looks as if a simple and easy trip but it came out as a small pleasant surprise to me that I could see so much within such a short time (half-day). I was fortunate to have an excellent guided service to the Swan Valley & Wildlife Park. Throughoout the journey, the guide had provided detailed information to me, showed me the shortest route in the wild life park to see the most within the shortest time. She also arranged the photo sessions with the wild animals quickly, saving us much of the waiting time. My wife and I really appreciate the high standard of care and detailed information provided to us. She also looked after our comfort in the car and she drove very well. Everything is well organised. The only regret is that it is a half-day tour and I had too little time to stay in the wild life park for more photos (though I had taken 702 photos already). Another pleasant surprise is the that the guide took almost 40 photos for us, which are all well-taken and now I finally have some good photos with both me and my wife appearing in the same frame. A most memorable half-day tour before I rushed to the West Australia Museum in the afternoon!Written 11 September 2024
- Explorer7449140 contributionsYanchep National ParkThe Yanchep National Park is indeed a jewel in the crown of Perth's tourist destinations. The plant life and wildlife are captivating, the Crystal Cave is amazing and the historical Chocolate Drops Cafe and the Yanchep Inn provide a delightful setting for a meal. One big drawback, which should be made clear to all potential visitors is, that unlike most attractions, the Park IS NOT, accessible by public transport and, while the new train service will take you to the Yanchep Station, from then on, you're on your own unless you want to make what would an extremely long hike.Written 4 August 2024
- Ethan50130 contributionsA very short visit with a lot of places being skippedThe tour had done a quick tour of a few section of East Perth & the weekend market in Fremantle, skipped Kings Park & Swan River. It really doesn’t worth it.Written 24 May 2024

- S8309UCmarionv0 contributionsSee a lot of wildlifeThe trip was fantastic. We see kangaroos, koalas and even black cockatoos in Yanchep. The cave was also amazing. It was great to see the cave. Our guide makes a lot of pictures of us, so that was very niceWritten 16 April 2024
- E251QWvaleriel0 contributionsDisappointmentI had booked to visit the Caversham Wildlife Park, followed by a wine growing place and a chocolate factory but the visits were limited to being accompanied by a driver, no visit to how chocolate is made (the factory) and for wine the same, no wine cellar visits. In short, I'm very disappointed, it's not what I expected. The only good thing was the kindness of the guide, the driver of the minibus.Written 28 March 2024
- GoPlaces177792190220 contributionsA memorable journeyThe 4-day itinerary was fantastic, featuring numerous unforgettable sceneries. The tour guide was excellent, providing explanations along the way and taking many photos for us. The only regret is that the entire itinerary did not include meals.Written 21 December 2023
- 87francesr0 contributionsA dream tourWe had such a great time, we were lucky enough to be the only ones on this tour but Fred and Fiona made it special. Saw everything and more of what we’d hoped, will do another with them on our next trip to WA and Perth. Found some new places for them to try, beaches, sights, loved the Anzac Centre in Albany, just needed a bit more time here and have suggested that 2 nights in Albany would be better. Thank youWritten 14 November 2023

Driver came to Pick me up at the hotel, got a very informative quick guided Tour of Perth, drove with other guest to Hillary with the aquarium. Visit of aquarium is worthwhile, also strolling on the Marina. Then with the bus to Yanchep, Graham is a very friendly and competent guide and driver, professional and customer oriented, gives interesting additional information. The Crystal Cave is an interesting site with good guides. Had a nice lunch at the Yanchep Inn, then a pleasant ride back to the hotel. All around very satisfied with Tour Operator.

Lucky to have been the only passenger for this trip . Mark is an extremely professional tour guide and was very punctual in picking me up and taking me to the Yanchep National Park . The cave tour and the AQWA Tours were also well organised .
Only wished we could have spent some more time especially exploring the trails around the Yanchep National Park area .
Mark also took the initiative to take me back to my hotel via a scenic route , which was quite enjoyable .
Overall good experience
Thank you Mark !

These people will let you book the experience and wait till 9pm the day before to cancel on you, leaving you with absolutely no time to book another tour for the day. They cancel via text message and then ask you to call. When you request information via messaging, they don’t reply. Even the booking agency couldn’t get in touch with them. Avoid them at all cost. Rent a car and do the tours yourself- you’ll be better off and at least ensure you get something done!

Hello Mercedes -Thanks for your comments. We tried calling you many times via your mobile as this was the only means we had to reach you. However, unfortunately your mobile was just not connecting. Hence we could not contact you earlier to advise you. Neither did we have the details of your hotel pickup to contact via hotel reception. We also did not have your email address to correspond with you. So in the end we messaged you as it was very difficult to liase with you. As this tour had not met the minimum numbers requirement, we were trying our best to advise you as you were the only one person on the tour on that date and hence we had to cancel the tour. Most of the times we provide alternative tours which most customers accept, if not then we advise the agent to give you a full refund. Unfortunately, we did not get any phone calls from this agent either as you mentioned here. Wishing you all the best in future and apologise for any inconvenience caused to you.

As it is not possible to review the actual tour taken, I decided to review one very similar.
It was a very pleasant day. The drive was long, but that was to be expected if you see how far the Margaret River is from Perth. The pick up was on time and our driver, Graeme, was informative, intelligent, a good driver, fun with a great sense of humour. We were both very pleased with his knowledge and the anecdotes he shared with us.
The cave was very interesting and different from other limestone caves I have visited and the beautiful National Park in which it is set really deserves a full day. We enjoyed the variety of places visited and are happy to recommend this tour and both Mark and Graeme as guides. Thank you once again, Graeme. (Sorry if I misspelt your name,)

Me and my wife was in Perth for 9 days and had signed up for a number of day trips covering all the major points of interests, including Pinnacles, Margaret River, Wave Rock etc. Then, we had one free day, which we decided to fill by taking this full day Yanchep tour with cave and visit to Hillarys. We were a bit apprehensive at first because the price was quite hefty, AUD$200+, that doesn't include any meals, or expensive entry tickets. Nonetheless, since we had time to kill, we went for it, hoping for the best.
The tour didn't start well. I tried to call and confirm the pick up time and location, and also inform Aussie Perth Tours about a potential road closure at my hotel. Nobody bothered to reply to my message and calls were engaged all the time.
The driver came to pick us up at 9am. We were shocked to learn that we were the only 2 customers. That didn't bode well ......
As it turned out, this is the most over-sold, and over-priced tours I had in Perth.
Along the way, commentary was minimal, almost non existent. The places we visited were anything but interesting. The cave tour was boring, very badly lit, and the guide was basically talking to himself most of the time. Then, the driver dropped us at a spot in Yanchep Park, telling us to roam around for 15 min, without telling us anything else -- eg the significance of the place, or what to see or do. So we wondered off, trying to spend the 15 minutes meaningfully. Basically there is nothing to see or do. We went back to the van, and the driver wasn't even there. 8 minutes later, he returned to the van, with his breakfast. I guess the spot was chosen so that he can get his breakfast?
Then, a short distance drive later, we arrived at the Koala place. All the koalas were all high up in the trees. Nothing to see there. Then, the driver said to drive us to another place, without saying what is there. I thought we were supposed to have some kind of bushwalk or something or see some kangaroos in the wild, like what the tour description said .... but no.
We arrived at this park. Again, he dropped us off, and told us to roam around for 30 mins, again, without offering more information about the significance of the place, what to do, what to see. Again, we had to try to spend 30 minutes of our time meaningfully at this park, which we failed.
After the agonizing 30 minutes passed, he drove us to the Hillarys. After telling us there are food places in the mall, and there is this Aqua place we can visit (tickets not included), he again dropped us off, without any further information. He then said another van will pick us up and return us to the hotel at 3:30pm. If we ended up earlier, we can call them to send a driver early.
The marina was nice, but the mall was very run-down. Nothing to shop there and nothing much to eat. Again, we had to somehow stretch our time to fill up the 2.5 hours we have. Again, we failed because there is simply nothing to do there. (The Aqua tickets were expensive. We are not doing to spend more $$ after spending $200+ each pax for this useless tour).
After lunch, we couldn't stand it any longer and called them to pick us up at 3:15pm.
In summary, this tour is the worst !!!!! DO NOT sign up for this tour. This is the MOST OVERSOLD and OVERPRICED tour. Considering the fact that a full day Wave Rock tour (by another agency) costs $200+ person, covered 10+ hours of driving (this tour only covers 2+ hours of driving), and included lunch (this tour doesn't include any meals. The only entry was to Yanchep which is just A$17 per vehicle).

Gday Boon Heng Goh, Our records indicate you joined the tour on 12 Nov 2024. For same day & tour, we had a cancellation of a family of 4 in the morning as one person was not feeling well, but so as not to spoil your day we still operated the tour, even though our minimum required tour numbers were not met.
We are sure that the ticket price etc was all known to you before you booked the tour with Viator.
You mention you tried to phone us but we sadly do not have a record of same as we are on human call 24 x 7 x 365. May be you phoneyour Agent you booked with ie Viator
So you received a Personal tour by yourself at no extra cost which we offered, so your day was not wasted
On way to Yanchep there is sadly not much to show you on the freeway & on checking with Coach Tour guide he informs us he did inform you of the days programme and showed you sights and suburbs on the way.
You mention the cave was dark, most caves are, unless they are artifically lighted & that would destroy the ambience and experiecne of Caving. The Crystal cave does have enought lights to guide people around. Sadly then u also mention that thecave Tour Guide was inept, which is very strange as they are all very highly experienced and knowledgeable people.
Koalas are in their element on the top of trees and normally stay amongst the tree branches. Sadly we cannot assist you more with it. You were viewing them in their natural habitat
You were dropped at Hillarys and most people visit the Aquarium, (also beach, marina, jetty shopping for clothes, food, souveniours etc ) that show cases the variety of aquatic life along the West Australian coast. If you did not want to do so it was your choice.
You requested us to pick you up early as you were bored by Hillarys & we did so to asssist you . The lady driver, who was rushed out, informs us she took you along the coastal and scenic route that has lovely homes , ocean and beaches etc.
You requested her to be dropped to the Water front shopping area , which was done. The driver then informed you that she would be happy to wait for you and drop you back to hotel, but you passed a sarcastic remark also that "you will charge me $ 200 ' for it, for which even your wife chided you .
Sorry to note that everything on tour , that thousands of people enjoyed in last over 25 years of our company offers, there was nothing that was good for you.
Hope you have a great week ahead

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
