We stayed in a suburb campsite near Perth and they picked us up from there (and back) for the 12 hours wave-rock-tour. Newer minibus, excellent driver, not one uncomfortable situation during the hole day. Long ride - recommendable.

Yes sadly the Rock is a bit far to travel, but we cannot do anything about it.It is a unique natures phenomenon which people travel from across the world to view. The brochure & website informs everyone time of departing city & return times etc. The Dog cemetery being an emotional thing for you is noted.
