Great Tour with Sophia
Feb 2020
My husband and I were on a cruise from Melbourne, Australia through New Zealand. As with most of our ports on this cruise, we had just one full day to check out the big city of Auckland. Wanting to see as much as possible in this short time, we scheduled a TIME Unlimited Tour.

Our guide, Sofia, had a hard time getting to us at the port due to all of the construction in the CBD, and she asked us to walk a block over and meet her. Once in our van with 4 other people, we took off for what ended up being a really fantastic tour. We saw so many wonderful places in just eight hours. As a bonus, throughout the day, Sofia offered us local treats. We had delicious Kiwi Juice, crackers, cookies, and little candies called Jaffas that I crave still!

Like touring with an old family friend you haven’t seen in forever
Hazel was such a kind and supportive host/guide. She went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met throughout the day, and what an amazing day it was. We went off peak so a very tailored experience for our small group. Would go again in a heartbeat with this company, and would happily kidnap Hazel, you’re welcome to come visit any time! :-)

We're delighted you enjoyed your tour with us so much that you would kidnap Hazel.....we just love her too, so would need to kidnap her back! By the way one of the things we are most proud of in our business is the wonderful guides that work for and with us. They are all caring, highly-knowledgeable and truly love what they do, showing our guests around places in Auckland and throughout New Zealand that we are all passionate about. Anyway maybe you can return to our beautiful shores again one day and we could host you again, so we can all enjoy having her! Ka kite ano (see you again soon), Neill & Ceillhe Sperath

On our Auckland Full Day Tours, our guests enjoy an amazing full day experience including lunch with the very best overview of Auckland City and its glorious West Coast. You get to marvel at views of several ancient volcanoes on the Auckland isthmus, travel through the Auckland Domain with the Auckland Museum as its centrepiece and get to stop to enjoy views of Auckland’s 2nd-largest volcano. We continue through the boutique suburb of Parnell, restored in the old colonial style and with many beautiful mansions. Explore Tamaki Drive, one of the world’s most beautiful city drives along Auckland’s waterfront, looking out at several of the stunning beaches along Auckland's shoreline. You see Mission Bay, arguably Auckland’s most well-known beach with lovely golden sand. Enjoy great views of the famous Hauraki Gulf and the mystical island volcano Rangitoto Island, Auckland’s largest and youngest volcano at 600 years old. We also drive across the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge, spanning the sparkling blue waters of the Waitemata Harbour dotted with white sails, from which you can marvel at the iconic view back to Auckland’s skyline. Also part of our Auckland City and West Coast Luxury Tour is a visit to Arataki Visitor Centre at the gateway to Te Wao Nui o Tiriwa, the great forest of the Maori ancestor Tiriwa, also known as the Waitakere Ranges. Our guests witness spectacular ocean vistas of both the Manukau Harbour and along Auckland’s wild West Coast. You get up close to some of New Zealand’s unique indigenous flora and fauna. View soaring cliffs, roaring surf and spectacular volcanic black sand beaches. Discover ancient native rainforest including our New Zealand Christmas Trees (Pohutukawa), Nikau Palms, our national icon the Silver Fern, plus our amazing Kauri Trees. We feel that our Auckland City and West Coast Luxury Tour is one of the very best ways to see as much as possible in one day in our amazing city and region. Thanks again for your wonderful feedback! Tours with Hazel of Time Unlimited Tours
Mar 2019 • Couples
Actually we did four tours with Hazel. She's the best, so knowledgeable and excited to share her love of New Zealand. From the first contact with Sheryl everything was handled smoothly. Hazel met us at the dock and we took all of our luggage (three couples) to our hotel. Then it was off on our first tour to see the "glow worms" at Waitomo Cave. Actually the glow worms look like icicles hanging down from the roof of the cave, but they have a blue tint glow that shows up in the dark. Very unique experience! The second day we did the Highlights of Auckland tour which included several beaches, Mt. Victoria, Westhaven Marina (the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, Auckland Damain Museum and Wintergarden and Hokey Pokey ice cream. The third day we did the Matakana Country tour with a couple of wine tastings, Pahoi Pub and Cheeses, a honey center and several parks. The fourth day was the Kumeu Country (wine and dine) where we spent about an hour at the Mission Bay Beach (all the beaches -both black and white sand - were awesome), ate lunch and wine tasting at Soijans Winery and then to the airport to begin the trip home. We had some great tour guides (and some not so great) on our 24 day trip, but Hazel was definitely the best

Great introduction to Auckland
Mar 2019 • Family
We were originally signed up for 1/2 day tour but thought we were going to be on full day tour. Luckily, we were able to get that full day tour. Wonderful tour of Auckland from volcanos, great vistas, tour of waterfalls, Devonport, and Piha beach all in 1 day. Lunch included at Winter Gardens. Sofia was great guide and Ceillhe was very helpful.
Great way to see Auckland and get ideas of other places to revisit

Kiaora Irene, it was our pleasure to host you for a full day as most people who do a half day end up asking if they could upgrade to the full day as they are able to see the value they get. We know we have a lot of great informaiton and locations to share with you and hope people reading your review will also choose the full day option so they don't miss out on how great a city Auckland is with all its diverse locations that are easily accessible from downtown Auckland hotel pickups. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience of our service and we loved hosting you. Take care Ceillhe

Wonderful guides
Jan 2019 • Family
We had the pleasure of being hosted on a tour of Auckland by Ceillhe and Nicci. Both guides were very friendly and approachable and it felt like a really personal tour of the area. The guides were so knowledgeable and it was lovely to hear about the Maori culture and history too. It was great to see the guides' favourite parts of the city and we were well looked after throughout the day. We really felt that the tour was tailored to our interests as (being rugby fans from Wales) we made a special stop outside Eden Park to take some photos. We even got to stop and try all sorts of culinary favourites such as Manuka honey and Anzac biscuits. THE highlight of our time in Auckland.
