This tour was exactly what I wanted and what it said on the tin. Pick up was well co-ordinated and on time. Mike is a great guide with a fountain of knowledge which he is happy to taylor to your interests/requirements. It was great to be able to walk around various volcanos etc with Mike giving detailed information on each. Wonderful photos of all sites visited. I approve this tour

Harriet was such a knowledgeable and lovely guide! She took us to sights we would have never known of on own. She navigated windng roads with expertise and ease. She educated us the history , horticulture and geology of New Zealand! A perfect day!

Mike was an awesome guide. We visited and learnt so much about the volcanoes around Auckland and NZ as a country. The tour was at an excellent pace and we enjoyed walking around the volcanos and the great views! Mike was very personable and was great guide.

Mike is a lovely guy and really knows his stuff. Not only is the trip scientifically interesting, you also get a really good introduction to New Zealand / Maori history and culture and a really good look around the outskirts of Auckland as well as some great photograph opportunities of the city.

Took this tour on a cruise stop. We had a great day with Harriet on this tour. She's engaging and knowledgeable and her information was very informative. There were only 4 of us in her SUV and it was wonderful to not be on another bus. Great views from extinct volcano outside the city and quite a winding ride over to the west coast lookouts and Beach. We hit low tide which was perfect. it allowed us to walk to a secluded area of the rocky cliff beach and even peak into a penguin hole! The Kauri tree was impressive and we really enjoyed the walk through the forest. Missed the waterfall as the primary road was closed but everything else was on point!

Harriet was amazing! Great tour, it is not too long and you can still see many places! Would recommend for sure :) + you can have a lot of great tips where else to go or what to do in Auckland. Thank you, was a great Sunday!

This full day tour is good for those who like volcanos, but also those who like scenery. You can include varying amounts of walking. I had injured my knee a few days before this tour and Mike was able to make several accomdations for me. You will see many Volcanos and Mike will explain the volcanos and their significance to the area. The scenery from the volcano's rims was magnificent. Mike is very personable, knowledgeable, and well traveled himself. Truly an enjoyable day.

This is an amazing tour that takes you up multiple volcanoes and shows you amazing scenery and views. Mike is friendly and very knowledgable about the landscape and history of the area. The smaller group number compared to other tours allowed for a really personalised experience. Definitely a tour worth doing!

A great way to understand AUCKLAND VOLCANIC FIELD which covers much of the metropolitan area of NZ's largest city. Impressive with good views. Our guide is knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. We enjoyed the tour.

Loved the experience especially the Piha beach .. magical and perfect day with nature.. lovely lunch and wine tasting to finish the tour on a perfect note!

Harriet truly enjoyed what she did. It felt like going out on a relaxing day with a good friend. I learned about kauri trees, New Zealand history, fan tail birds, blue bottle jelly fish, and much more.

Sights were stunning, and the tour guide was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was a pleasant experience for sure, but i will never again pay this amount of money for a 6 hour tour. It was great but doesn't justify the high price.
