Several of our guides for this tour were Maori. They provided excellent information about the Maori culture. When we went to the forest, our guide Mike let forth with songs to the trees, people and surroundings. It was such a wonderful experience for us. We loved it.

Guides were friendly and informative. It was great to get away from the main tourist areas. Waipoua Kauri Forest and the Kawiti caves gave great insight into Maori culture.
