I really wasn't too keen on doing this as I assumed there wouldn't be a lot to see but I was wrong. There are lots of paintings and photo ops. It was a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend to all.

Great little spot, feel like this place is much more suited for people with children.
If you’re an outgoing person who loves taking or being in pictures 100% for you! Or if you have some children from any age to about 15ish I’d imagine it would be a blast!
It’s a nice little way to waste 30 minuets to an hour with your partner, a few laughs and a couple decent pictures but that’s about it.

Lady who served us was lovely and helpful, very welcoming.

So much fun. We got some awesome photos in the gallery and also did the farm tour. It was July so only one other group. We got to feed the sheep, cows, llamas, alpaca and deer. Very cute and fun ride behind the tractor.

Such fun! Brilliant rainy day activity. The bigger your group the better I reckon. There was only 2 of us so we couldn't get pictures together and some pictures looked better with a few actors in shot

We had a nice time here. Enjoyed all the photos taken. The receptionist also was really friendly, welcoming and warm. I forgot her name, she said she was just a temp there as the staff was on leave – but she did a really good job! I highly recommend this place!

Interesting experience that was quite different from anything else we did in Rotorua. The kids thought it was great fun at the start but they started to get a bit bored by the end. Although the last grand mural with the waterfall perked them back up again.

Worth swinging by for a look if you have spare time. If your visit to Rotorua is tight then I wouldn't personally say it's a must do.

We were in Rotorua over Waitangi weekend and thought we’d give this place a try. Being a long weekend we thought it’d be busy but when we got there around 10am on the Saturday there were less than 10 others. The price definitely seems a bit steep - and hard to justify returning - but for a one time experience it was fine. It’s really just rooms with paintings and at first the kids weren’t too impressed. Once we’d encouraged them, taken and shown them what photos looked like and gave them phones to take photos with, they really got into it and had a blast. It would be difficult with heaps of people as often the best place for taking photos overlaps with another image, but that aside, there was plenty of varying images to try out. An hour is probably the most you’d need. I would definitely recommend this place but given the price, would check first if it was busy and probably not something we’d go to a second time. The cafe/restaurant next to it is also well worth a visit.

Rainy day in Rotorua so we looked for an indoor activity and 3D Trick Art was a great way to spend a couple of hours. It is a simple walk though set of wall and floor painted scenes that you can step into and be photographed as part of the scene, think fighting an octopus or crossing a log bridge high above a river! Great fun and good value. Gift shop needs a rethink though, nzers don't really want to buy sheepskins and I've been to NZ tee-shirts.

Our family of four (kids 11 & 13) had a very fun hour mucking about and taking funny photos in this very clever Trick Art Gallery. The framed pictures on the wall give you inspiration for how to pose, which was really helpful. Well worth a visit if you have a spare hour or so - you'll come away with some very amusing photos!
