About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- S6877ZXangelac0 contributionsNice tourThe views were amazing. Having the options for hikes was also very nice. The drive to and from Christchurch is very long and makes for a long day. But the views were worth it.Written 16 March 2025
- 611leeannb0 contributionsArthur’s passWe took the bus up to Arthur’s pass and train back. Great experience. The bus driver, Anuj, was fantastic. Let us enjoy the scenery, stopped at the points highlighted in your, and pointed out things along the way. Always had waters available and snacks which were appreciatedWritten 12 March 2025
- davidpirie010 contributionsA Full Day TourA long & tiring day, but worth it for the experience. A full day (13½ hours) with a lot of travelling in the minibus, but plenty of stops along the way for refreshments & sightseeing. We were lucky with the weather, leaving heavy rain in Christchurch for cloudy but clear views across the mountain valleys. We were rewarded with great views at Lake Tekapo, Mt. Cook National Park & the highlight, a brisk 20 minute walk up to the viewpoint for the Tasman Glacier & then another, less demanding walk to the river to get closer to the icebergs in the lake. Special thanks to our guide, Anuj who was friendly, polite, knowledgeable & a good driver. The provisions of water & snacks were particularly welcome. A great day.Written 12 March 2025
- davidpirie010 contributionsBrilliant TripA memorable day out for all the right reasons. We started with the mini-bus tour up to Arthur’s Pass, with a number of stops on the way for refreshments & sightseeing. Enjoyed the walk through the limestone boulders at Kura Tawhiti & the more strenuous, but well worth, climb to view the Devil’s Punchbowl Falls. We returned to Christchurch on the TranzAlpine Train, comfortable, relaxed & with the added benefit of a bottle of bubbly from the bar. All on time & we were blessed with great weather for the day. Special thanks to our guide, Anuj who was friendly, polite, knowledgeable & a good driver. The provisions of water & snacks were particularly welcome. A great day.Written 12 March 2025

- Q7735VTrobertm0 contributionsMount Cook, Lake Tekapo and Tasman Glacier hikes from ChristchurchA great day out of Christchurch to Lakes Tekapo and Pukaki along with Mount Cook. The scenery was spectacular. Anuj (AJ) was a great driver and provided nice commentary in addition to communicating well for breaks and stops. He provided water and multiple snacks throughout the stops and was always checking on the group. He allowed ample time to do the Tasman overlook hike along with the Tasman River hike - total time was about 90 minutes. The trip is about 4 hours each way but it is well broken up with rest stops and opportunities to get a tea or coffee in addition to restroom breaks. The sites and experience are worth the trip! Highly recommended.Written 9 March 2025

- Linda08630 contributionsGreat tour!My husband and I went on this trip last Saturday and were fortunate enough to have Anuj as our guide. He was wonderful. We especially appreciated his commentary, sense of humor and the attention that he paid to our group. The train trip was beautiful as were all the stops we made. I would highly recommend this tour, I’m sure you’ll find it to be a great value for the money.Written 4 March 2025
- Steph F0 contributionsGreat day out of ChristchurchGreat day. Our guide was informative and helpful throughout. The smaller group of less than 20 was a good size. We had a nice amount of time at each stop and particularly at the glacier where we were able to fit in two tracks.Written 3 March 2025
- William Andrew W0 contributionsLONG DAY, WORTH DOINGA great day out although wonderful visibility of Mount Cook was a huge bonus. Not too many get that lucky. The scenery around Lakes Tekapo and Pukaki was sensational, the blue of their waters staggering. The hike, in my case out to the Tasman River, was well worth it. The trip was well and carefully timed but that was a big plus given the long road distance from Christchurch but sensible stops well planned en route made it comfortable. Our guide was extremely good in his informative commentary, avoiding the temptation to say too much. He was a superb driver while his provision of copious supplies of bottled water and snacks was hugely welcome. I really valued this side of his work. I enjoyed this day out immensely. It was a long day but absolutely well worth it.Written 1 March 2025
- B7627EYmattw0 contributionsNot a bad way to see the NZ AlpsA well planned itinerary with decent stops throughout the day. We had to do it backwards due to no fault of the agency, and I thought that plan was great; ending with the train, as opposed to being stuck in that van for 3 hours at the end of the day. Thats really my only critique - the van they had was quite cramped, less legroom than your Spirit or RyanAir flights, so being stuck in there was not that comfy - I saw most other men sitting sideways just to endure. But the information and plan was good, and nothing was too rushed. I think I may have expected different about what "Arthurs Pass" was, but thats on me. There was no "view of the entire mountain range" from the top, which I was expecting, but overall a good dayWritten 24 February 2025
