As non skiers we were keen to experience the snow and found this trip online. It was the ultimate thrill and a big highlight of our three week trip around the South Island. Absolutely stunning scenery, fantastic staff, easy to use machines (even for us in our sixties) and just an incredible thrill from start to finish. Absolutely loved it.

Amazing experience! Cannot recommend them highly enough! Very much based on how good the weather is....so be prepared to be flexible with times and days.

Excellent fun a must do if you can it’s an amazing experience. Beautiful views. Stunning helicopter flight and excellent experience. I hope to do it again in the near future.

Awesome experience. Chopper flight in was amazing. On arrival it felt as if I was alone on the mountain top. Fantastic weather. Awesome well trained staff. Would highly recommend this experience, super unique and worth the money. All clothing and footwear supplied. Only recommendation I would make is to get changed on the ground so you can jump straight onto the snow mobile.

We are a family of 4. There is not much we 'haven't' done in Queenstown so I was keen to give this a go. Don't be put off by the price & I'll explain...... We have helicoptered many many times around parts of the world; so I understand the $ per hour cost for these fab machines to keep running. Firstly, the chopper ride there and back is unbelievably beautiful and a decent 15 minutes each way. So, stunning chopper ride tick!. Then add to this the experience of snowmobiling in an intimate number (max 6) you have absolutely everything you could ever want. Luke was our Pilot and Mush was our guide (both amazing) and the entire operation is sharply run. Once you land on top of the station, everything you could possibly need is on site in a hut set up. All the gear, helmets, even gloves and high end snowsuits that will keep you warm. The snowmobiling was fantastic and the guide was happy to go full on fast or slower depending on our limits. I think could ever wish to land on another planet this would be it. We were literally the ONLY people there. High elevation and stunning views the whole time. I'm an oldie, son is 17, niece 19 and my daughter is 13. This adventure suited all of us. My daughter was taken by our guide on the back of her snowmobile & she had an absolute blast. It was so great I wanted to do it again the next day but time didn't allow it. If you want to chopper around QT and add something extra I cannot recommend this activity enough. You will get a huge bang for your buck. Thank you everyone that helped on the day - even Maddie in reservations again was fabulous.

My hubby & I went up in a helicopter to snowmobile around the top of a mountain with this company. Mosh (Leslie) was our guide. Such a thrilling adventure morning. They arranged hotel pick up/drop off for us. Incredible helicopter ride and then snowmobiling in fresh powder. Unreal! Would highly recommend this if it’s in your budget. It was probably one of the most awesome activities I’ve done on a holiday. The area where you snow mobile is so remote, it’s a conservation area so I think this company is the only one allowed up there. The world is so surreal up there in the snow. Out of this world adventure. My hubby is a thrill seeker and I’m not really but we both could do it, you snow mobile at your own pace and it was incredible.

This is Just amazing experience! One of the best things you can do in Queenstown. the flight out to Nokmoai station was simply amazing and you get all the great Queenstown views! Once you land your local guide Taz will give you all the gear and possible one the comfiest onesies I've ever worn and then fun begins! You get the dive the snow mobiles over open untouched terrain taking the beautiful views and then to top it all off you get to do a few jumps.... simple its a brilliant trip to do and its on my list to do again!

I have been travelling for just under 4 years now and this exceeds any trip I have done! I can't tell you how AWESOME this was. From start to finish I was on a high, the crew are awesome from reservations to the pilot and Guide. I had Taz guiding the trip and Alfie flying, both extremely knowledgeable with tonnes of experience and super friendly, wanting to make our trip the best experience we could have. The Helicopter flight both there and back was incredible , Alfie was such a good pilot, the scenery was unreal. It was like we were in Lord of the rings / a David Attenborough documentary setting. When arriving to the base it was literally in the middle of nowhere out in paradise. Driving the Snowmobiles across untouched snow was AMAZING! The best thing is you actually get to go FAST! it is very free with the guide leading the way in front. Speeding across powder over small jumps with the best views you can imagine, even saw Mount cook in the distance. Don't leave Queenstown without trying this. Would love to do this again and even try out some of their other Heli flights. Thanks so much team!

This is the second time my husband and I have been on the snowmobiles in Queenstown. This time round we took our 16 year old daughter who thought it was just fantastic. We were picked up from our Hotel, given a rundown on the safety features at the Helicopter office before boarding the helicopter. Queenstown Snowmobile's staff are extremely accommodating, friendly and very provicient. Our tour guide Taz was a brillant guide who also gave us interesting commentaries on the area. It was a picture perfect day. The snowmobiles are definitely a must do while in Queenstown. We also had a brillant pilot, Pat, who gave us an exciting ride back. A great time had by all. Would do it again, it's that great!

This is an amazing experience! The views were incredible. The staff friendly, helpful and informative as well as fun. The snowmobiles were a blast! Great fun and easy to ride. When next in Queenstown I will be doing this again. It's well worth the cost for an unforgettable experience. If strongly advise anyone to make sure this is on the list.

Having spent most of my life in the Queenstown area I was looking for an adventure with a twist. This trip was just fantastic , flying through the snow capped mountains with Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters Pat and Matt and the team were very professional and I felt very safe. Then onto the Snow Mobiling this was an experience like none other. Snow Mobiling in some of the most majestic scenery in the world , snow capped mountains everywhere . The bikes themselves were fun and easy to ride . Everyone must do this if you are visiting Queenstown area it will be something you will never forget. If you want a real adventure story to tell everyone then this is it. Best day ever , regards Gavin Hawke

Loved this activity. We were incredibly lucky the day we went as there had been a fresh fall of snow. Riding over mountains with blue skies and powder snow was amazing. The staff are safety conscious, but fun and the snowmobiles surprisingly powerful. Changing facilities are basic, but ok. I opted to wear the snowsuit provided over my ski gear, and was plenty warm enough. It's best to keep phones in inside pockets, as both our phones wouldn't work due to the cold! The helicopter ride to get up to the snowmobiles was also interesting and the pilot took time to tell us a little about the area on the way there and back. Super fun and a definite holiday highlight.

Great, awesome, fun, thrilling, and worth every penny. We thoroughly recommend this activity to those looking for a winter alternative to skiing or snow boarding or just looking for an adrenaline rush or need for speed type thing. Safety was at the forefront with our guides and every level from beginner to experienced was catered for. The scenery was outstanding, the snowmobiles were easy to use, and you got the feeling of being out in the wilderness too. Groups are kept to six only which meant you were not held up by a large group. The helicopter flight to and from the Garvie mountains site was great as well and very scenic. The pilot was informative and friend!y as was our guide. We will definitely do this again!!!!

A little bit overpriced for what you get. Can't say it's worth the $835...$500 would be more like it. Helicopter ride was really good, very safe. I expected a little more adventure style riding on the snowmobile. Girls at the desk were lovely, and the guide was informative and pleasant. Not a horrible experience.
