Overview
Take off from one of the highest commercially available points in Queenstown on this tandem paragliding experience. Fly with an extremely experienced guide for aerial views of Queenstown and the surrounding countryside, including Coronet Peak. Flight time is about 15 minutes; all necessary equipment provided.
What to Expect
We provide optional free transfers from downtown Queenstown up to the Coronet Peak skifield. After a short drive up to the skifield, you get teamed up with your pilot. He will do a safety briefing with you and you will be able to do a short practice and soon you will be away flying.

Once up in the air you will have amazing views of the whole Wakatipu area, there is nothing better than seeing Queenstown from the air. In the Summer from October to May it is about a 10-15mins flight. Depart from the higher Rocky Gully take off - aerobatics take off. The Rocky Gully take off is specifically designed for those thrill seekers amongst you all. But if you decide you would like to go higher and not do aerobatics, Rocky Gully is for you as well.

Your courtesy van will pick you up from the purpose built landing site, which offers a cafe with hot food and drinks.

Overall my partner and I both had a great time first time paragliding. Staff were great and clearly experienced. In particular Angus’ experience and skill showed strongly. I would add two feedback (neither of which warrant a demerit if rating in this instance)- I would...More

Thank you, David J, for your feedback. I am glad you and your partner had a great time paragliding with us. Yes, we do get the rare request of the pilots not using the camera during the flight, which is totally fine. After all it...More

Take your own GoPro

This was a beautiful and fun experience. My partner and I chose to do the higher point and it’s definitely worth it as long as your pilot takes the time to fly around. Our take off and landing were incredibly smooth but saw some participants...More

Disappointed

Very upset that I was denied a refund when the pilots decided I was too heavy to hang glide. Instead I was forced to take a disappointing paragliding trip when I preferred my money back. I was denied a lifelong dream today and feel like...More

Easy, Safe Paraglide

This is a very easy - first timer paraglide. You stand on the top of the peak with your pilot attached behind you, he/she inflates the lift wing, you take one step forward and you are paragliding. It is stunning to see the landscape and...More
