Awesome way to see parts of Tasmania. Lisa was working non stop and ensured everyone was catered to, Callum our captain was a fountain of knowledge, could not have asked for a more informative guide. Well worth it in our opinion.

A wonderful way to see the beautiful city of Launceston, the tamar wetlands, and the cataract gorge. I also loved the wine tasting as we passed the vineyards that made it and the skipper was very knowledgeable, pointing out four white-bellied sea eagles. Very peaceful peaceful tour for a decent price.

Very relaxing, interesting cruise. I learnt a lot about Launceston that I didn't know. Morning tea and lunch was delicious.

A lovely way to see the river and Tamar Valley. We were blessed with a mill pond river and plenty of bird life. Morning tea was provided and a knowledgeable commentary

A lovely cruise up Tamar River as far as Rosevears followed by brief sojourn in the Cataract Gorge. Really loved the flock of seagulls following the boat. The gorge is a really special place. Nice to be spoilt with morning tea, cakes, fresh fruit and the opportunity to taste local wines & lager.

A great 50mins on the water. Very relaxing and informative cruise, beautiful scenery, great captain, sun is shining, what more can you ask for! Highly recommend

I struggled planning a trip to Tassie with my partner and his elderly grandmother, since most of the things I would normally do are quite active. I booked this as something his grandma would enjoy. It was a nice quiet cruise - only about 15 of us, pretty much all older couples. We saw that they take a maximum of 60, which we imagine would have changed the vibe significantly. I enjoyed the view from the front of the boat, as well as the upstairs deck. My partner and his grandma were quite happy to enjoy the view from the comfort of the lounge style seating inside. Highlights for me were the short cruise up Cataract Gorge and going under Batman Bridge with all the whirlpools. We had morning tea and the wine tasting on the way up, along with informative commentary from the captain. On the way back we were served lunch (lovely array of sandwiches with some cheese and crackers and cut fruit) and just enjoyed the views. All of the staff were friendly and approachable, and we all enjoyed it immensely.

Discovery 2 we was told by TUI let us pick your cabin worst thing we ever done we was put at the back of the ship only one cabin was further away not only that all the cabins were family ones with children we are both 70 plus the cabin was not up to scratch the sheets was soiled and not fresh had to complain to the cabin staff to have them replaced the balcony was rust everywhere the shower had mould on the shower curtain and the whole suite was very tired and outdated we was also told that our balcony will be cleaned what they did not inform us was that when washed the balcony all the stuff from the balcony next to us will be left on our balcony not very pleased hair a dirt left on our balcony when we come back to our cabin this so-called deluxe cabin but there was no deluxe in the cabin so my cabin was missed represented I have the pictures and the state of my cabin this is our fourth Cruise with TUI and we are very disappointment and could be our last

A nice cruise if you wish to hear 3+ hrs of commentary up the river and back. Not ideal for groups catching up and talking while enjoying the cruise, unless you are prepared to stay in the lower deck with limited views and airflow. Ideally the skipper should have noise cancelling air plugs or a closed off area so the top deck is available to enjoy the view as well as socialise without feeling uncomfortable. Morning tea and lunch was very good.

Waste of money, didn't see anything much, nothing that couldn't been seen from side of river walkway. Don't waste your time and money.

Excellent cruise to see a wide range of scenery. The captain/ guide is incredibly knowledgeable and does an excellent commentary throughout. Comfortable launch, good bar, food and service. Unfortunately I copped a poor weather day☹️

Absolutely amazing. Relaxing, fun and such great views. The 2 gentlemen Tim & James were such a hoot, providing great information, commentary and such good hands on experiences for the kids. Absolutely worth the time and dollars

As a Tour Guide I get to do lots of Amazing things and I really appreciate what goes into making a tour Great. Josh and Lucas of Tamar River Cruises certainly got ot right! ✅️ I took a group of friends on the 4hour lunch included cruise and WoW 👌 what a Great Day Interesting commentary from Josh and Amazing service, always with a grin from Lucas.... lunch was Perfect and everyone said what a Lovely day it was..... I would Highly Recommend this Cruise and certainly hope I will get the chance to go again. Thanks guys Job Very well done

I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and surrounding scenery, which is very nice and interesting. The captain was very helpful and knowledgeable. Well worth doing the trip to see the beautiful gorge.

The cruise was relaxing and informative. A lovely way to see this beautiful part of Tasmania. The captains comentry was clear and informative. Crew were excellent.
