James is very knowledgeable about Nelson’s history and cultural aspects that make it such a great town/city to visit, and he takes one to little unknown surprises of Nelson. Thanks James, good job 👏

This was an enjoyable and interesting introduction to the main sights of central Nelson. James was informative, knowledgeable and friendly, clearly interested in the city and happy to answer questions. The pace of our walking tour was sensible, without being tiring, enabling us to cover plenty of ground.

Our group of 4 had a very pleasant and interesting couple of hours, when we were shown around Nelson by James.

These tours are always value for money, as this one was. We only had the one day to see what we could, and were shown many different aspects of the city-specialty shops, the cathedral, art gallery, and river.

Many thanks James for all the effort you put in.

Booked this tour at the I site when we got off the cruise shuttle bus. James, our guide, was very informative. Saw the rings from the Hobbit
A must on your first visit to Nelson.

For a small cost, we got so much out of our visit to Nelson. We were visiting from our cruise ship and when we returned and shared our day with others, it became obvious that we had seen and learned much more about this laidback town than others. For example, the story behind the goldsmith and the glass blower would have been totally missed.
James’ obvious knowledge and enthusiasm really made the difference between a tour and an experience

Although I had already been in Nelosn for a few days I still learnt a lot on this walking tour. James was very informative, pointing out things I would certainly have missed if strolling around on my own. The walk was at an easy pace and included a lot of detail about history, important facts, plants and animals, local art and much more. I would really recommend it.

James and Dianne were very friendly and informative. They did there best at the outset to understand what we wanted to get out of the tour before deciding on the specific route to take us on. We always like to take a guided tour of a place we have not visited before, as you get so much more out of it than just walking around yourselves. This was no exception, we learnt a lot..
