Would highly recommend it. It is so nice and beautiful. The trip was really a highlight and a must do when in Katherine.
See the Katherine Gorge in the best way―on a cruise―during a tour of Nitmiluk National Park. Traveling by boat takes you to spots not accessible on foot or by tour vehicle. Listen to commentary on the geology and history of the area, and wind through the network of waterways that make up Katherine Gorge. Choose from a 2-hour, 3-hour, or early morning cruise depending on your schedule and budget.
When booking, choose from the 2-gorge cruise, the 3-gorge cruise, or the dawn cruise. Each has a different departure time and these three options mean you can select one that fits your schedule. Make your way to the Nitmiluk boat jetty, where you will meet your river guide.
Step aboard the boat and learn about the flora, fauna, and geology of the area while snapping photos and taking in the epic views. Between each connected gorge, you will disembark and walk to the next (about 1,640 feet or 500 meters), where you can reboard the boat. If you choose not to complete the walk, there is a shaded area for resting.
The 2-gorge cruise focuses on the area's heritage and the history of the aboriginal people who originally occupied the area. The 3-gorge cruise continues on further, where you can cool down with a swim and some light refreshments. Book the early morning dawn cruise to see the day's most spectacular colors.
If you are visiting the Nitmiluk National Park, taking the 2 hour cruise is a must do. Gorges are breathtaking and wildlife abundant. Second visit to this park, glad this time I decided to do their cruise. The guide was knowledgable on surroundings and cultural...More

We did the two gorge cruise (2 hours) and it was fabulous and really interesting. Our guide was informative and funny but more importantly, very knowledgeable about the Gorge and the aboriginal culture. Initially, we wanted to do the four hour trip, but due to...More
We had a fantastic time at this cruise, our guide was funny, educational, but not over the top. These tours are more scenic then adventurous but still 5 stars from me
