Early 3.30am pick up and wow was it worth the early rise!! Sunrise on the beach with Kangaroos at Cape Hillsborough was just stunning! Cherene was super friendly and knowledgeable about the wild life & nature around the area, full of fun facts and happy to help with pictures and showing us around with our guided bush walk. We saw kangaroos, Wallabies, Sea Eagle, Python, Skinks, Bats and Butterflies. The bus ride there was comfy, supplied with blankets & pillows for napping if needed, breakfast at the beach was yummy, and she even specially catered for me as gluten free. Every little detail has been carefully thought of and taken care of with this trip. All you need to do is turn up with a smile, your camera and a sense of adventure! 1st visit to Bowen & surrounding areas. Beaches were totally stunning & unspoiled. Different walks to look out points. Cherene was great & very knowledgeable. Lunch included was lovely we had fresh seafood next to Marina. Would definitely recommend going on this land day trip for people who want to learn about area & past history.

For first visit to Airlie I recommend doing this tour on the first day. Charlene is a fantastic driver & guide who took us all over Airlie & Shute Harbour. The tour was informative and helpful as we were able to work out restaurants etc to visit. She took us to great private & public viewing points so we could admire the beauty of this special place. Charlene always went out of her way to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

This day tour was well organized and interesting including visiting wonderful secluded beaches & beautiful scenery. Morning tea & lunch was included. Cherene is very knowledgeable & respectful of her own environment. She is full of enthusiasm and her happy disposition creates a great atmosphere.

We happen to stumble upon driftwood tours when we arrived to Airlie beach via cruise ship. And were absolutely blown away with the service and knowledge of our tour guide and owner Cherene. The 2 hours was full of fun, witty commentary and contemporary knowledge. The attention to small details made the trip very accessible for all ages and memorable. Would highly recommend to anyone !!!

Amazing tour with excellent guide also on phototaking skills 😊 Pick up early at Airlie beach, nice small group. You will get a travel pillow and blanket so you could sleep on the way to Cape Hillsborough! Stunning sunrise, a lot of informations and an easy walk to a lookout (with spectacular view over the area). After that you can enjoy the included breakfast. Awesome tour, thanks Corina
