A nice experience and adventure. There was a little hiking included to a beautiful waterfall. So horseback riding and hiking. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The horseback ride thru narrow trails was a bit challenging. Low branches could be trimmed away to avoid colliding with riders. I recommend you wear long pants and long sleeves. The branches and brush will scratch and bruise you. Overall it was amazing. The scenery was right out of a postcard.

Thanks for your review! we really much appreciate your comment. Yes, the area of the horseback ride has endemic vegetation, this is why you will meetsome branches along the way. These is the native vegetation of the area. This is how it is riding in the Andes! To get to these amazing views, theres always some physical cost that becomes worth it. Yes long pants and long sleeve, plus sun protection is a very good recommendation! We are very happy you enjoyed the tour! Regards! Coti

Only one day and two nights in Santiago we happened upon this lovely couple that offers many tours and chose the horseback riding. It was an awesome experience that we will never forget. Learned a lot about the vegitation and wildlife along the way and at the top of the mountain we stopped to view Santiago down below. Absolutely breathtaking and an experience I would highly recommend.

This was a terrific ride. Good horses, exceptional guide, mountain terrain, varied route, lots of bird life, including condors, eagles and falcons. Superior quality wine at the end of the ride was a fine end to a great day.

If you can ride there is the opportunity to canter and even gallop, but you either need to take a solo private tour, or have a group of experienced riders.

If you are interested in birds ask for Gonzalo, an ornithologist, to be the guide when you book your tour.

We did this day trip a few weeks ago and it was a perfect start to our time in Santiago.

We were supposed to do the tour on Sunday but the organisers messaged us prior to our trip to ask if we would mind re- arranging the trip to Saturday or Monday and we duly obliged. In advance of the trip the organisers were easy to deal with and they got in contact well in advance to confirm the pick up time.

Unfortunately I cannot remember the guides name but he was absolutely fantastic. After he picked us up from the hotel and started driving to the ranch he pointed out key landmarks around the city, advised us where to eat, drink etc., He was very friendly and enhanced the overall experience.

The horse riding is a fantastic experience and we had no difficulties even though we were both first time horse riders. Throughout our journey our guide pointed out the local vegetation and bird life. Most importantly we enjoyed the amazing views of andes.

To conclude our journey we were treated with a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers. Overall, we would highly recommend this tour.
