Went today with my husband and 15yr old son. Forgot all about my son’s PCR test only valid for 7 days! However they have a tent next to the entrance which will do a lateral flow test for €10 (cash only)
Admission is expensive. €40 per person; so I saved €5 per person by quickly booking the tickets online.

Inside the park, they have an array of slides, pools and places to eat. We found a sunbed pretty easily, but we did arrive just after opening. We didn’t bother paying for a locker, as they are right at the entrance and didn’t want to keep having to come back & forth. There is a man who will take your photo at the entrance; you can by this later for €7 (or 2 for €10).

Food prices are normal for this type of place; a cheeseburger meal was €7. Soft drinks €2.50. 2 scoops of ice cream €3. You get the drift…

Toilets are clean enough. There are people cleaning around the park all day.

Slides are good. There are queues, but that is too be expected. The wave pool is good; beware of the loud horn that goes off every half hour I believe to warn you! Lifeguards are at every slide/attraction and are keeping a close eye.

I would recommend the park for something to do on holiday, although to get your money’s worth you need to be going for opening time at 10am and staying all day.

Also, the bus stops in the water park car park.

I cannot rate this WaterPark highly enough and this is mainly due to incredible team of staff they have working there. I really do not think I have come across such a friendly, efficient and hardworking team of people, everyone we encountered could not do enough to make our day out as fun as possible. Nothing too much trouble and just constant smiles throughout. The lifeguarding team are extremely experienced and on the ball with all aspects of ensuring all the rides are safe and orderly but always with a friendly tone. They were extremely patient with my little ones when they had last minute nerves but with a little encouragement they got them to try and by the end of their visit my children absolutely LOVED all the adrenaline slides. I would definitely recommend hiring a cabana it’s a perfect base and extremely secure but as the weather gets hotter over the coming months little ones can escape the heat and have a rest out of the sun. Although we attended at the beginning of the season there was some great children’s entertainment with Mike the magician and his adorable rabbit. There is also plenty of food choice with all the regular treats you would expect and more!

Can catch the bus from Ayia Napa for a couple of euros which drops you off right next to the entrance. 40 euros to get in which is a bit steep, it would be better if this included lunch. Having been to Siam Park multiple times it is clear to see that this is slightly behind the Tenerife waterpark on size and number of rides. The selection is good and waiting times are next to nothing, but after an hour or so you can get on every single ride. The lazy river is a nice relaxing experience. Also the wave pool is good fun, again not quite as big as Siam Park. Had a chicken burger and chips with a drink from the burger place which was 10 euros, but the portion size was huge so this was good value. Lifeguards were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend if in Ayia Napa.

Was no option to buy spectators tickets so had to pay full price for 2 people not using the slides etc. Very expensive day out and my son wasnt able to go on all rides due to his hight so as some slides would close to open others due to them only being open at certain times due to less staff so what he could do was very limited. Water park looks very different online and in brochures to what it actually looks like as it is very run down and could do with painting and brighten up etc. Food and drinks were very expensive and we paid for VIP but never had anyone come and ask us did we want drinks etc tried to scan barcode didn’t work. We had food there to which was expensive for what it was and I didn’t eat my burger as it was covered in a horrible sauce it tasted like a mix of bbq and brown sauce, not many staff around and would spend a lot of time waiting round for people to come back to their station to serve a drink etc . I think this is due to one person obviously running a few different stations . Altogether we spend £210 for a few hours out, My son enjoyed himself but overall as a family it was an expensive day out for just one person to be using the facilities.

Thank you for visiting WaterWorld Waterpark and sharing your experiences with us in such detail. Our younger visitors often wish to go on every ride. However, height restrictions are in place to ensue the safety of our visitors and are clearly stated for all rides. And all the rides at WaterWorld are available to enjoy throughout our normal operating hours. Additionally, we'd like to assure you that with regards to maintenance and the level of hygiene we adhere to the highest European TÜV standards. This certification is renewed annually before the start of every season. We have operated for over 25 years and have never experienced any safety issues during this time and the inspection and safety processes in place at this attraction will ensure that remains the case for all future visitors. Thank you for all your comments they will be passed onto the relevant departments. We hope you will come again and visit us.

Slides work on time table, what I knew an the park. For example the only slides for 1 person closed in 45 mins after my arrival.
There are also several slides for 2 or 3 persons.
And that’s it. Nice attraction for 35 euros per person.

Park is a bit outdated and needs cleaning also. Stairs on the slide were full of pigeon sh*t.

And buy tickets only online, you will save 5 euros per person.

Not quite sure why everybody is saying how good this water park is..
There are around 10 slides and a lazy river. All of the slides open at different times of the day, so there is a lot of hanging around.

Goggles are not aloud under any circumstance to be work in the slides. I wanted to wear them as I’d been having problems with a new set of contact lenses, so didn’t want to get anything in my eye. I was shocked that I was told on every slide I could not wear goggles.

The main ride there we waited 2 hours for it to open, then once it had opened got told you could only go down on this ride in a 3. So us as a couple could not even go on the main ride as there wasn’t an extra person. Shocking.

The wave pool was switched in for no more than 2-3 minutes, once per hour. Again shocking.

Wasn’t the worse place I’ve ever been, but wouldn’t be in any rush to go back.

I was worried about going during COVID but they were very strict on who could enter so once inside it felt very safe. The lifeguards were brilliant, so attentive. Each ride has its own rings (if required), and civilised queuing, so there is no hogging of any of the equipment.
A very pleasant experience.

We are staying a week in Ayia Napa, so inevitably we chose to visit WaterWorld. I booked an paid online. This saves some money compared with just turning up. Entry was chaotic with long queues. We ended u; in the wrong queue because of the number of people there and not many staff to help out. The few that were there were not much use anyway. We did at least find some sunbeds when we got in. There were long queues for most of the rides. Minimum age restrictions mean that for under 10s there are not really enough things to do for the money. You pay a premium price for what is really a second rate experience. We visited the park at Paphos last week and that was better.

Dear Visitor, Thank you for visiting WaterWorld Waterpark and taking the time to share your thoughts with us which we'd like to address. Firstly, the queues at the entrance are a consequence of following the safety protocols in place because of Covid and to ensure that everyone who enters the water park has a safe pass or valid test. We appreciate the patience all our clients demonstrate in this matter and are grateful that most of them realise these are necessary for us to help us prevent further spreading of Covid. WaterWorld’s popularity frequently results in queues forming at our most popular rides. This happens at every popular theme park around the world. Unfortunately, as much as we’d like visitor waiting times to be as short as possible, we cannot and never will compromise on our safety procedures. Everyone who works at the water park is trained to strictly follow these safety procedures even if the queues are long. We offer a wide selection of rides and attractions to cater for all ages and tastes at WaterWorld and we have received international awards and high praise on TripAdvisor from our guests for the facilities we offer for children. We can only assume that you must have missed what was available to you if you visited another water park while in Cyprus as no other water park offers the number of rides or attractions available at WaterWorld. Thank you and we hope to welcome you back again.

We went to the water park in October on a day trip from Protoras. It was lovely and quiet as it was towards the end of the season. The main slides were on a rotation system so were not all open at once, but this was ok if you paid attention to the timetable they provided on entry. There was fun for all our family - from age 2 to 42! Lots of variety and space. The slides were brilliant and the queues were not long at all. The place looks a little tired in general, but this really doesn't affect the overall experience. We would definitely go back.

We visited water world in early June while staying in the Larnaca district of Cyprus. It was our first very public trip out with our kids (age 9 &4) post lockdown and we were a little apprehensive. From the start the staff at the park were fantastic, making sure social distancing was taking place in the line to get in, catering staff all wearing masks. It all felt very safe and comfortable.
The life guards were so friendly and attentive. It really was such a brilliant day out. We planned to stay a couple of hours but instead were there from 10am - 4.30pm!
