About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- TravellingNutter770 contributionsBit short and rushedInteresting tour and we had a great driver, Dimitri, but the tour itself is a bit short with only less than an hour in the ghost town part.Written 16 January 2025
- PetrouM19770 contributionsHighlight of the holidayThis was an amazing experience, so much fun. We saw so many wonderful sights and the guy (sorry, I don't remember his name) had a great sense of humour and gave us lots of information during sight seeing. Thank you for a wonderful day!Written 4 December 2024

- catherinedA2421OO0 contributionsHighly Recommend!Stunning sea caves, amazing views, crystal clear waters at Konnos Bay, immaculate churches, mingling with the locals in traditional villages, beautiful troodos mountains, waterfall and tasting local wines and olive oil at the winery. Our keep driver Tony was super friendly, his passion, knowledge and love for his homeland made the tour an even more enjoyable experience! He was particularly attentive to everyone in the group from young to old. Thank you Tony aka Crazy Dude 😎Written 12 November 2024

- 170lorraineb0 contributionsCouples trip to the Troodos mountains and other places .Well, what can I say amazing, brilliant the best day of our holiday. Bambos picked us up from our hotel at 08.00 am and off we went to start our trip. We saw some amazing views of the Troodos mountains a copper mine full of beautiful water also picked up some crystal pebbles and a speck with gold in it. We visited a fantastic lake where Cyprus gets some of its drinking water, and we visited a winery just what the doctor ordered the tasting was really nice and we purchased some souvenir drinks to bring home. The visit to the waterfall was stunning the church was amazing it's a must-do trip if you're in Cyprus but the thing that made the trip was our wonderful driver and tour guide Bambos he was so knowledgeable and an excellent driver. Thank you so much for a fabulous day would recommend to anyone Bambos your the best . Lorraine+Phil EnglandWritten 29 October 2024
- clairebW9992RD0 contributions7 hour half day tour with excellent guideOur driver and guide Athos was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. It makes a big difference to hear personal stories from someone who lived through it. We had far more time than the four hours we were expecting. Absolutely recommended. No notes!Written 28 October 2024
- KEV A0 contributionsDay to rememberWe booked this as the weather was a bit “iffy” so wanted to get out and see some of the local sights. Bambos collected us from our Hotel bang on time and went on to collect 2 more groups, ending with 9 of us in the Land Rover. The whole day was fab, Bambos’s driving (and LOVE of rental buggy drivers & hire car drivers) was excellent, especially the overtaking of any “NORMAL” vehicle that dared to get in front of us on an off road track & deliberately hitting some “bumps” to the cheers and shrieks of kids & adults alike in the rear of the jeep. I was fortunate enough to get the passenger seat & my wife & 2 teenage daughters the 2nd row, so we had a great view of every route taken. The stops were great, never more than a 10 minute drive between them & ample time for pics etc at every stop - we were never feeling rushed, in fact, the total opposite…. Bambos encouraging us to take our time & enjoy the locations Swim stop in Konnos Beach was awesome, as was the last planned stop at the “Church which is a cave, or the Cave which is a church” as Bambos described it. We even got an extra stop on route back, as there was a stunning sunset to see, Bambos volunteering to take “family pics” for us to capture the end of a memorable day.Written 26 October 2024
- Sarah W0 contributionsNot worth itAdvertised as a Jeep safari it was a really old land drover was really uncomfortable my mum struggled to get in and out of the ‘Jeep’ tour guide was lovely but next time I don’t think we will book a full day one when sat in the back was no air at all we was cramped and when on windy roads felt sick my mum even was sick for 80 euros per person it wasn’t worth itWritten 22 October 2024
- Ang M0 contributionsExperience you need to go on but remember it's off road driving. It WILL be bumpy and twisty.Got picked up right from my accomodation. Drive was amazing, the scenery spectacular, lunch was beautiful and worth the money. It is bumpy and twisty roads, but part of the experience.Written 19 October 2024
- Gabi2233550 contributionsBeware of booking any tour with TRACKERS EXCURSIONS!!We booked a private trip for 700 euros. out of the 7 attractions in the brochure, we reached 2. They sent a driver and not a guide, who didn't even know the way. It was a long boring ride, and a terrible waste of a dayWritten 17 October 2024
- holtie0 contributionsJeeps, Caves and Beaches…Such Fun!Today we had the best jeep tour with Tony. I wasn’t sure what to expect and this was not my typical tour but what a memorable day! Tony was informative throughout the day and also took into consideration, the preferences of those in our small group. Because Tony started our tour by 8:00 we were the among the first groups arriving at all the sites so no crowds. As a guide Tony shared his passion about his homeland, overviewed history and shared great information. He assisted those in our group who needed assistance AND was fun and funny making for a great day. This tour is well worth the investment and if you take the tour, ask for Tony’s Jeep! Loved this tour.Written 16 October 2024
- Keiran_Quinn0 contributionsBrilliant insightful tour with AtosFantastic tour by Atos, who picked us up from our hotel in Ayia Napa! He arrived early, double checking we had our passports ready for the tour. After the rest of the passengers were collected, we headed to the Famagusta cultural centre. Atos detailed the history of the region and towns, explaining the growth of tourism of modern Cyprus and what had happened in the last 50 years of the country. Once at the view point museum, we watched a short 10 minute video giving us further insight into the troubles between Cyprus and Turkey. We then went outside to the viewing deck and looked through binoculars at the green zone/no man’s land. We then headed to the checkpoint between Cyprus and North Cyprus where it was a short wait to have our passports checked. This went smoothly as Atos had already collected them from us. Once through the check points Atos explained more history of the area and his personal experience whilst working and living in the town as a young man. This was absolutely fascinating, as he detailed exactly what happened on the day Famagusta was bombed first hand and the history of the following hours and days. Once we arrived, we then took a stroll through the ghost town being told the history of what we were seeing. Although the tour was meant for less than an hour, Atos happily took more time to show us the streets and beach of the town. This was a lot more than we had expected and was brilliant. Atos answered all questions and more about the ghost town and was a perfect guide. We then boarded to bus to the Venetian walls of Famagusta which was a short trip up the road. He gave us a brief history of the ruins and we then had an hour free time to explore on our own. This was more than enough to see the ruins, Othello’s castle, browse the shops and have a quick bite to eat from one of the restaurants by St Nicholas cathedral. This was a brilliant tour and something that will stay with us for a long time. Atos was a perfect guide and exactly the person you want to show and explain Famagusta. You’ll be lucky to catch him in the next year before he retires.Written 15 October 2024

We managed to book a last minute Enchanged Lagoon Safari on Fri evening for Saturday Morning. Chris our Tour Guide was very prompt at 7:45am on the dot, luckily we were the 1st pick up so my Dad who has trouble with his hips was able to sit in the front.
The trip is in a Land Rover Defender which is a little snug, however with the off road part of the trip is the only vehicle suitable to be fair.
The 1st stop was in shut down silver mine, before a stop at small Cypriot village for a traditional Cypriot Coffee... a Strong Sweet Espresso style coffee 😋.
A couple of stops later Approx 1hrs after,we stopped at the Lagoon perfect for cooling off in the heat of the morning... I'd recommend dive shoes, aqua shoes, crocs, Plimsoles or something similar that will dry quickly but designed to get wet as the stones on the entrance are quite tough on your feet. But it was an amazing experience (could have happily stayed all day)
The old village where we stopped for lunch was like going back 200 years with stunning views then the restaurant
Wow Kleftiko was possibly the best I've ever had.. note lunch is an additional cost on the day trip but a family of 4 having main course and a drink came to €60.. which you can't argue with for the quality, but something to be mindful of
Finally we stopped in Lefkara a beautiful picturesque village in the lower hills of Cyprus that proudly sell their fine hand stitched lace and hand made silver. The quality and craftsmanship is extraordinary.
Next door is a coffee shop which sells beautiful pressed fresh lemonade 😋 .
Very refreshing
If you can bear with a long day in an un air-conditioned vehicle I would highly recommend the trip. Take plenty of water with you although there are a few opportunities to buy refreshments along the way.
Chris the tour guide is polite, professional and a wealth of knowledge.
Thank you for a wonderful and interesting trip through the Hills of Cyprus.

Hosted by a skilled , knowledgeable driver this tour took in absolutely stunning scenery , beautiful monasteries and villages deep in the Cypriot wilderness. The lagoon was amazing and a welcome refreshing dip , the weather was hot , I mean really hot , close to 38c which, this is gritty off-road experience not an air conditioned taxi ride , and is great fun, the only thing that slightly dampened my enjoyment was I didn’t protect my head from the sun and felt really ill in the afternoon, this is of course no fault of the tour guide . my advise to future customers is prepare for the heat! A really fantastic experience though

The tour was stunning! I didn't expect to see so many places in one trip - beautiful villages, mountain "blue lagoon" and "red lake", breathtaking landscapes and amazing architecture. We even saw flamingos! ;)
This trip is an excellent mix for fans of local culture (old villages - you could buy and taste local dishes and wine in traditional restaurant or see making of "lefkaritiko", folk needlecraft famous all around the world, UNESCO sites etc.) and nature (mountain lake, stunning views along the entire route, not only from the viewpoint).
And finally - we were hosted by an amazing man, who told us a lot of stories, was a skilled driver and we all felt safe. :)
Thank you!

We liked the sites very much BUT unfortunately- if you are more than1.65 m tall there are absolutely NO rum for the legs in the OLD jeep. There was no seat belt for all passengers (10)- so the fare on the motorway was "exiting" and long. But the sadest thing was that the guide did not speak english, so he was able to tell us about the sites. Luckily there was another car with an English speaking guide, so we followed him at one of the sites, witch gave a much better experience.
Would I recommend this tour ? Well if you are no more than1.65m tall and don't mind driving fast in really old cars- the sites are good..

Thank you for your review and feedback.
All our vehicles are fitted with seat belts for all 10 passengers by law.
They do tend to fall in the back of the seats so a little help from the driver had you mention it he would have found them for you.
We don't hide the fact we use old Landrover Defenders for our jeep safaris, nor hide the fact that they are not the most comfortable cars to be in as they are low ceiling, this is why we have a seat rotation at each stop so you don't sit in the back all day. They get the job done, taking to places you can not take yourself in an ordinary car.
We do tend to use authentic local professional drivers and yes, English is their second language and is not 100% but our jeeps tend to travel together and information is shared by all drivers.
We are pleased you enjoyed the places visited.

We chose a private hire for 6 of us. Our driver Adam took us off-road to a mountain lagoon where we could swim, before taking us to enjoy a wonderful lunch in a mountain village museum. The whole tour was conducted in English and Adam took us to visit some ancient churches and guided us round a monastery. Finally we had some time to explore Lefkara village, and watch the artisans create their beautiful needle craft table cloths and even watch some biscuit decorating. What a lovely memorable day we had. Adam was a great guide!

Loved loved loved our experience with this company! Adam was our tour guide and he was fantastic, he spoke great English, was very funny and you could tell he enjoyed his job especially when he was going off road in the jeep 🤣 he also came back to our hotel the day after as we left our wallet in the jeep and nearly had a panic attack until we called them and they said they had found it. Our favourite day off our 14 day holiday!
Defo recommend.

Wow wow wow......had the best day with Jon, our guide.
If you get Jon your guaranteed a superb experience, excellent knowledge, great sense of humour and an awesome 4x4 jeep driver.
Whilst it's a long day its well worth it.
We would recommend taking swimming shoes, swimming costumes and a towel because the Blue Lagoon is one not to be missed.
Don't expect air con, it is a jeep safari after all and windows are your air con so embrace it.
Thank you Jon, your the best 👌

A great day out seeing the real Cyprus, up to the Troodos mountains which are worth a visit on their own. Swimming in the blue lagoon is a great stop to help cool down. Then on to visiting traditional villages, having a traditional Cypriot meal in a village traverna. The monastery visit was well worth it and on to Lefkara to see the hand made lace & silver jewellery. The day was made enjoyable by our driver/guide John who was knowledgeable & friendly. If you want a day away from the touristy area and see the real Cyprus this is recommended for you

Had a great day out with Tony very funny and knowledgeable. Took us to a beautiful copper mine with a lagoon not too far away with off roading which I loved every minute of! Couldn't help but laugh at his jokes, hearing about his Landrover with a BMW X5 engine he got put in which made the experience well worth every moment of the trip! Couldn't recommend Tony more! What a dude!

Our driver for the day was John & he made the experience - he was very friendly & knowledgeable. We had attempted to do a jeep trip the previous day - the jeep needed some TLC & sadly it broke down. I must say the company were very good in the handling of the situation. John uses his own vehicle & for this reason, it's maintained to a high standard. With only 4 side seats in the back, although the people in the back weren't as comfortable as those in the front-facing seats, they did have some space. John is a highly experienced driver & me & my family felt very safe in his hands. Tim

Thanks.
