Excellent walking tour with great tour guide
Michal was an excellent tour guide on our 3 hour walking tour around Prague. Very knowledgeable and also very patient on answering any questions. Very enjoyable tour, would highly recommend this and him as a tour guide It was also good to have ear pieces to be able to hear him, which made it very easy in busy crowded areas

7 Hour Walking Tour of Prague
This was a tour with my wife and I and our guide Honza (Jack) from Explore Prague. He was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the city and the country, their long history, political stories and intrigues from current events to centuries back. Full of fun and delightful facts and stories. Honza was very engaging with a great personality and he paced the 7 hour tour comfortably. We went to a delightful monastery restaurant for a delicious lunch of Czech dishes. I would recommend this tour to anyone that is interested in learning about Prague and the Czech Republic and is comfortable with an 8-10 mile walk within in 7 hours.

          Informative and active.
Michael our tour guide was amazing and informative, although at times he spoke his great English a little fast, so I missed somethings. Also, on the tour, if you struggle with walking, there is a long walk down multiple steps from the castle.

          Explore the Castle!
Excellent tour of the Prague Castle complex and Lesser Town. A tram ride to the top is included, so don’t worry about hiking up. However, the tour does involve walking down to the Charles Bridge, about 0.8 miles. The weather in mid March was sunny and 52-55° (11-13°C), but the indoor spaces and shade from the buildings were chilly enough that we wished we had another layer on. Our guide Michal was excellent! Very knowledgeable and thorough. You won’t be disappointed!

          Mike was fantastic
Great tour of some of the major high points of the old town. Loved learning the ins and outs of the castle, the history of the bridge and statues. Mike was top-notch for information and personality.

          Excellent tour, great tour guide
A really informative tour at just the right pace. Michal was an excellent guide, load of interesting information delivered in just the right manner, fun but educational. The castle complex is huge and we were so pleased to have gone on an organised tour as it would have been impossible to see so much without a guide. Thank you.

          A perfect tour
This was the ideal introduction to our visit to Prague. At about 2.5/3 hrs duration the tour was very informative and our guide - Anna - was very knowledgable and engaging. Our tour group was small which meant that we had plenty opportunity to ask questions as we went. Well worth the money.

Mike was a fantastic tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable. Meeting point was easy to find. We rode on the tram up to the castle and had a wonderful tour finishing off with a nice easy walk down back into the town to the finishing point at the beautiful bridge .

          Great tour & guide
Jack was a great tour guide who gave us some fascinating local facts and tips, whilst showing us around the castle and surrounding city. He was super knowledgeable and patient, and we left feeling like we had a great general lay of the land and history of Prague. Would definitely recommend this tour. Thank you Jack!

We had a great time with our guide Anna. Anna is very funny and likes to laugh. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about Prague. This tour really helped us get a good understanding of the history of Prague and also points of interest.

          Good tour. Great guide!
This tour was well worth the time, energy and money. The walk wasn't too difficult. The best part of the entire experience was our tour guide, Honza (Jack), his knowledge was impressive. Even more impressive was his enthusiasm which was infectious. Honza not only told us the history of the sites we visited but gave useful tips about using public transportation, what to do and what not to do while in Prague. He is one of the best tour guides we've ever had. I highly recommend this tour. I hope you're fortunate enough to have Honza as your guide.

          Do this walking tour!!
We tend to do a walking tour when we visit somewhere new, and this was one of the best! Our guide, Jack (Honza) was amazing. Down to earth, knowledgeable, passionate and cared about his city. Pointed out loads of stuff we just wouldn't have doing it on our own. Well worth it. 5 stars 🤩.

Fantastic tour with full of lots of history and interesting facts, that we have enthusiastically shared with others since we returned home. This was our second guided tour with Honza and again he was very engaging and friendly. We enjoyed using public transport to get to the Castle. Highly recommend this tour.

          Great tour, excellent guide.
Honza was a fantastic guide, his passion for the subject matter shone through. We learned so much about Prague and Czech history during this tour that we would never have discovered wandering around with a map and guide book. Highly recommend this tour and would recommend doing it early in your stay to help you get your bearings and open up Prague for you.

          Superb tour
This was a brilliant tour, over three hours but not all walking as you get public transport to the castle. Petra, our guide, had just started and she was excellent - so enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We learnt so much about the city and spent a lot of the tour in the various parts of the castle complex. All very informative and enjoyable. Recommended.

Eliska was an excellent tour guide for our 3 hour walking tour around the centre of Prague. Clearly very knowledgeable and informative, she was able to bring to life the fascinating history and story of this wonderful city. She also provided loads of advice and recommendations on other places to visit during our trip. A very enjoyable afternoon’s tour. Highly recommended!

I can’t remember the guide’s name. His name started with a K. Tour was on Tuesday 18/6. He was really informative about the history of Czechia and Prague, and took time to relate various major events at the places where they occurred. This included what life was like under Nazi occupation including their treatment of the Jewish population. He also covered life and events under Russian occupation. In fact, Czechia has not been independent often nor for long in the last 500-600 years. K also talked about the cultural history including Kafka, Mozart, other composers and writers, architects, and a contemporary sculptor called David Černy. It was a great tour and I thoroughly recommend it!

Michal seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. He had good answers to our questions. That knowledgeable didn't always translate into the best tour. There were long periods of silence walking past interesting buildings. Sometimes we would stand in a spot and discuss things in other parts of the city, rather than what was in front of us. He may have been put off by the rain.

It was still a pretty good tour, if not the greatest.

Thank you for your review DCShannon! Your conclusion is correct, it is a bit difficult to keep up a continuous conversation when it's pouring. On the other hand, a good guide should also give people a chance to keep their own conversation as well, rather than continuously talk 3 hours non-stop :) anyways, we're happy you had a good time and enjoyed your tour! Enjoy your Prague stay as well as the celebration of your anniversary and till the next time - happy travels! Mike - tour manager

We did our private tour with Honza (aka Jack) and it was outstanding. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, engaging, entertaining & enthusiastic, all of which added up to a fantastic introduction to Prague. Honestly we had such a great time I wish we could have booked him for more tours...I couldn't recommend him more highly

Visiting the old town, Charles Bridge and the small town under the guidance of Jirina who spoke French very well was a rewarding experience. Our guide was able to reveal the secrets of a thousand places without being too academic.
We appreciated Jirina's comments and explanations all the more because we had already wandered through the neighborhoods and streets that she made us discover. We highly recommend doing this activity.

The best guided tour I have ever had. You discover beautiful Prague and learn about the history of the country at the same time. My guide was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable. A perfect visit but also an amazing view of the country through the eyes of someone who loves it immensely. A great conversation that I will not forget. Thank you!
