About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- JJ3650 contributionsA total skip! Just buy your own Prague Castle ticket. This tour reminded me why I almost never do tours. This tour is a total skip. It took 1.5 hours to get to Prague Castle and before we entered anything to see. You also have to wait in lines with the tour guide, they are not skip the line tickets. Do yourself a favor and skip this tour, just go to Prague Castle and buy your own tickets…you’ll save a bunch of time and money.Written 7 September 2024
- J4577XSmadisonm0 contributionsIncredible historic walking tour for all the best of PragueWe had the best time on this tour. Our guide Peter was so knowledgeable, funny, and passionate about the history he was sharing. Because of his deep knowledge in politics and political events he offered great insight on not just what was happening in Prague and its history but how the events and actors then impacted the rest of the world. The castle and surrounding areas were incredible to see and we are so so glad we did the tour. I had walked the castle once on my own and it was incredible to hear all the history and stories I missed when I did it unguided. If you’re in Prague and looking for a cool way to see and learn about the city without an all day tour THIS IS FOR YOU!Written 7 September 2024
- Trek209792966770 contributionsOne of the best museums in EuropeWhat a fabulous museum, one of the best after visiting many cities. The building is magnificent and the exhibits are fascinating, you could easily spend at least half a day there, excellent value for money.Written 30 August 2024
- geraldinedempsey0 contributionsBoring Boring waste of time and money.I would learn more about him by completing a 1 minute Google search Better off spending time and money elsewhere.i learnt very little about his life and my partner and I were very disappointed.Written 27 August 2024
- Chris C0 contributionsA Must do in Prague and easy walk from the centrePrague Castle is a must see. Buy the tickets on line via the castle website. You can walk around most of the castle for free, but the tickets get you into the pretty amazing places such as the Cathedral, Basilica, Golden Lane and the Old Prague Castle. These are worth it. Do it online as there are huge lines at the wrong time. There is no need to rush, as you can take your time for each part and have lunch or coffee in between at one of the cafes. Depending on your history bias…if you want more, get the audio version as there is little writing in English around the place and where there is it is hard to read on the glass. If you are just happy to enjoy the majesty, don’t bother. Make sure to visit the gardens at the top of the palace and they are free. Also…note that you need another ticket to climb the steeple of the Cathedral. Suggest do earliest tours at 10.30 before the crowds.Written 25 August 2024
- KevSF7770 contributionsIncredible, beautiful and rich history to experienceIncredible rich and important history. So thankful Prague preserved it. Amazing to witness. Younger generations of all people should see and learn the history, especially with all the disgusting antisemitism in today’s world. Highly recommend!Written 11 August 2024
- Nomad2617870 contributionsGreat guided tour. Worth the time and costGreat guide with a detail history of the Jewish quarter. Very knowledgable, very articulate with a great method for discussing a very rich and deep history that all but vanished after WW2.Written 8 August 2024
- marteh7640 contributionsGreat tourOue guide was both informative and fun! This was a great way to experience Charles bridge and the castle! The guide also gave som local tips, that was helpfull!Written 5 August 2024

- megan_stewarttt1550 contributionsFelt like I was in Night at the Museum! This museum is one of the better ones I have been to when on holiday. Lots of interesting exhibits, my favourite had to be the animals from around the world exhibits! Something for everyone and when using the app it was great to get an audio guide of the exhibits!Written 31 July 2024
- SSikora860 contributionsReally nice tour of the Jewish QuarterReally nice tour, excellent tour operator who was very nice. The group wasn’t too big which was great. We overall enjoyed the tour and would recommend for anyone without a small child. The only reason why I’m not giving 5 rating is because perhaps I shouldn’t have taken my little one on the tour as she’s a bit young and it wasn’t that enjoyable for me as it could have been. Not the tour operators fault, this is my own fault.Written 25 July 2024
- Aaron T0 contributionsThought we were getting moreWe were able to skip the line, but there wasn't much more than that. Purchased the audio guide that did not even match the exhibits. It had missing sections and not in the correct order. This audio guide was from this company and not the official guide of the Prague Castle.Written 24 July 2024
- Harrisfc0 contributionsJewish quarter visitThe Jewish quarter walking tour was very interesting. The guide we had was informative with the perfect balance of seriousness when discussing topics and humour. It was great to see all 4 synagogues that Prague had with stunning architecture and the trip was also very moving. Will definitely return to the quarter when visiting Prague again.Written 23 July 2024
- H9381FZkarenh0 contributionsFantasticFantastic tour. Very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. Well worth the time and great value. A must for a first time trip to Prague.Written 17 July 2024
- 508reneer0 contributionsRough start, but something not to missI wish I realized that we had selected our tour time before we arrived, and had the option to add the the additional town hall and under ground tour, with our original ticket to plan better for the time needed for this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable, but we did not realize that we needed our phones for the audio guild, and felt a little uncomfortable having to sign in to my email on the streets of Prague. It was truly a nice experience, once on our way, and I would recommend adding the town hall and underground tour , to the time spent hereWritten 16 July 2024

Knowledgeable and engaging tour guide who shared a lot of historical information. The walk up to Prague Castle was exhausting (we expected a tram ride as mentioned on the web site). By the time we reached the castle, we were so tired we left for home. We re-visited Prague castle the next day at our own leisure.

Angela was a fantastic tour guide.
She clearly loves her topic and was clear and knowledgeable when explaining the points of interest. She kept the group together and on time without it being an issue., and engaged everyone, chatting with us between stops.
I would highly recommend the tour, especially with her as a guide.

We've taken this excursion in mid-November. After reading reviews on what a good tour guide Michal is, first we were a bit disappointed when Michal wasn't leading our tour, and his colleague Petra took it over. BUT, she was so much fun that I can't even imagine someone better! She talked very passionate about the history of Karlov Most, Prague and the Castle. She took time to show us the hidden spots and mystique place at the Castle (mind-blowing experience). On our tour, she even took us to visit the church of Our Lady Victorious (what was not included in our tour) and our team got a chance to talk to a monk if I am not mistaken, his name was Hanos. Such a charismatic guy, and he spoke in like 7 languages. This excursion was nothing like we've had before, it felt like we were among friends. The guide really took her time to explain everything and the bunch of extra questions we had. A big "thank you", for guiding us to the hot-stops at the Castle, for taking the pictures and taking the short-cuts in a crowded touristic area. On our next visit, we know which tour to choose! Well done you guys, you made our journey to Prague complete.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed the tour on Saturday. Our guide was excellent and explained the history and culture of Prague in terms we could understand. He is a very well educated guide and is fluent in English, German, and Russian.
I would gladly take another tour with him and recommend this tour and tour guide to those interested in learning the history of this beautiful city.

We were a group of 4 from Australia that took this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable in the history of Prague and very friendly and approachable which gave us the freedom to ask lots of questions. Highly recommended particularly in the morning (too hot in the afternoon) and gave us a good understanding of the layout of the city and its history (without being too heavy in history unless requested). Highly recommended at the beginning of your visit to Prague.

Our guide, Michaela Ledvinova (Misa) provided an informative and thorough tour. Her explanations and stories about the culture and sights of Prague were clear and enjoyable. She really loves her city and is happy to share it with visitors. We particularly enjoyed learning the long history of Prague.

Peter was excellent. Very informative with a few laughs thrown in. We throughly enjoyed this tour. We booked it as our first activity on day one and were able to return to explore some highlights we saw in the tour more in depth.

Does this include entry into Prague Castle and St Vitus Cathedral or do we have to line up to buy tickets.
Written 30 January 2019
Where does the tour start and end? Do you visit Golden Lane as well?
Written 30 January 2019
Did you get to tour the Castle? What about St. Vitus Cathedral?
Written 15 July 2018
Yes we toured both the Castle and St Vitus Cathedral and reviewed and commented.
The Castle tour was spectacular but our visit was curtailed because of extreme winds and then thunderstorm and heavy rainfall, but well worthwhile.
St Vitus Cathedral was just beautiful and well worth the isit, but we can certainly appreciate it being described as a tourist trap with hundreds/ thousands of people. Again on our day we found weather extremes, but if in Prague a must do, but recommend being early.
The following day the weather improved and we enjoyed a terrific day by ourselves doing things around the Old Town and the Charles Bridge by ourselves.
A spectacular city, but again you need to manage your time and appreciate the thousands of tourists all wanting to see the key photo points. We found the walking tour and excellent guide gave us plenty of thoughts and ides for the following 2 days, when we were by ourselves and could do things at a more leisurely pace.
Enjoy your time. We also rode a small train which left from the Square and provided an interesting tour.

What is the duration of this walking tour?
Written 21 May 2018
Este tour se puede realizar en español? Cuantas horas de caminata son? Es apto para personas grandes?
Written 14 May 2018
It is a good question. There were French and Spanish people on our tour and our guide spoke both languages fluently. There was also a small family group of Germans from Koln. No problems.
We found this tour quite an easy walk, the steps down from the Castle were easily managed and this occurred prior to me having and ankle operated upon on return to Australis.
In regard to the tour being applicable for bigger / larger people, there were a couple who were “big” people and they coped. But I suggest you specifically raise your issue or question with the tourist group, before agreeing to take the tour.
It is a beautiful city with a fascinating enjoyable tour , but you need to be comfortable, ask before you book, there are many tours available.
Best wishes, hope this is useful and enjoy.
