- marycloud90 contributionsAbsolutely wonderful! Vladimir is a great host!Wonderful tour with our knowledgeable guide Vladimir. Highly recommend. He was fun and easy to get along with. If you have any dietary restrictions he can accommodate. He not only gives the tour but also gives information about the city, culture and history of Prague/CZWritten 14 November 2023
- carrieh9680 contributionsGreat food and insightWe thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with Vladimir. The restaurants he took us to were definitely ones we would not have found on our own, but enjoyed very much. He was also incredibly interesting to spend the day with, as his knowledge of Prague, both of its history and local culture, was vast. He also gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner that evening. I would highly recommend this tour!Written 23 September 2019
- 895loum0 contributionsGreat tour at local spotsVladimir has great knowledge of local spots and provided some interesting insights to local history. He was extremely helpful on advice for other spots and even provided us a list of restaurants with helpful tips. Someone else described that it was like seeing the city with a friend and that is an accurate description. Really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend!Written 2 September 2019
- 15leighanna0 contributionsFantasticThe best (most fun) way to learn about a different culture is through their food!!! This was an awesome way to experience Prague with an ‘insiders’ view. It’s obvious these guys are ‘pros’ and take their food seriously. Selections (locations & food) are well researched and many additional recommendations given. Tour offers a variety of food/experience. Highly recommended!!!Written 26 November 2018
- westlakeh0 contributionsLike Discovering The City with a FriendSpent three hours in interesting conversation walking around with Vladimir. As someone who grew up through the transition from the Soviet times, he has seized on the excitement of the new Prague food culture after the dark insular era of domestic-only ingredients and no creativity Even after 1989, independent restaurants faltered with the best intentions but little outside world practical experience and inspiration. Restaurants such as KANTYNA which we visited on this tour and Eska which we found on our own exemplify the new and excellent food movement locally. Vladimir is energetic and engaging. Go hungry. Highly recommended.Written 16 September 2018
- JanTravels_40 contributionsNice food tour, though not as thorough as describedVladimir is an engaging host with very solid English. He has honed his offering to a fine art, and could converse on a wide range of topics. Our tour took 3 hours, so shorter than others have reported. We went to a pub/restaurant, a deli, a 'new concept' meat restaurant in an old bank building and a modern bakery (essentially glass and steel). Our voucher described the tour as having 5 stops, but we had 4 during the 3 hour tour. We were introduced to interesting and diverse eateries and quality food. Most stops offered beer or wine, or a non- alcoholic alternative. On the last stop Vladimir emailed each of us a PDF of his suggested restaurants. One note, at the noon meeting spot Vladimir does not have any visual identification. A sign, t shirt or some other visual ID would help to identify him.Written 7 August 2018
- 5Waldos0 contributionsWonderful experienceWe did this trip in Sept and it was the highlights of our time in Prague. In fact, based on this excursion we have started booking foodie excursions in all the cities we visit. A great combination of history, architecture, and of course- great food. Everything from small sandwiches to a beer hall to one of the newer restaurants in town. It was well done- and we certainly had enough to eat that dinner was completely unnecessary. A bit of walking but not bad even for someone with a 6 month old knee. Could not recommend it more highlyWritten 27 June 2017
- cathSurrey0 contributionsAn ideal start to our city breakVladimir was a wonderful guide through Prague showing us where to eat and giving us loads of information to help us. A great help in a strange city. He chatted to us about the history of Prague and what it was like under Russian occupation. A perfect introduction to Prague. Great food and drink in pleasant company. Will recommend Vladimir to my friends. Thank you for a brilliant afternoon.Written 6 January 2017
- John P0 contributionsFantasticVery enjoyable walk around Prague. Great choice of local restaurants n recommendations on beer. - Pavel R0 contributionsOne of the best tours you'll have in PragueBeen there with a friend. We were the only ones on that day. So we were picked from our hotel and got a personalized tour based on our preferences. Also got a nice bottle of wine from a tasting on the tour :-)Written 3 June 2016
- carah950 contributionsGreat time exploring PragueI had a great tour with Vlad, who took the time not only to introduce us to some great Czech food, but also to take us to see interesting sites that I would otherwise have missed. It was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wanted an insider's tour around the city.Written 5 May 2016
- Martin I0 contributionsFantastic Tour with Vladimir! We went for tour no 1 the 4 hours food tour. We spent 6 hours in great company with Vladimir and tasted great food, great beer and great wine and accompanied with interesting stories. This tour is just a tour to recommend.Written 1 April 2016
- Vivsview0 contributionsAll you could want from a tour and more!Vladimir picked us up from our hotel and treated us to an extravaganza of food, drinks and the sights of Prague. It was hugely enjoyable, educational and fun from start to finish. The 4 of us loved it and we highly recommend it.Written 1 April 2016
- Laura52730 contributionsAmazing Tour (#1)Today we had a great tour with Vladimir!! Instead of 4 hours we had a private 6-hour-tour (and we were just a small group of 3). We had a wonderful day and delicious food - without any stress at all because we had enough time at each restaurant/bar. Even food allergies were not a problem because Vladimir took care of it and told me when something was in the dish or drink I couldn't eat. And in the end he gave us some more great restaurant tips. Thank you so much!!!! We enjoyed the tour a lot and would definitely recommend it :-)Written 26 March 2016

We did the "Foodie Tour" with Vladimir a few years ago now and loved every minute of it.
His passion and love for his beautiful country, history, cuisine and people was nothing short of infectious
We have recommended him and his tour to so many people from Australia.
Wish we could get back to do it again
Thinking especially of beautiful Prague and her people, in light of the shocking events of yesterday

The combination of local foods and conversation made this a fully enjoyable tour. Vladimir took us to two restaurants, a charcuterie shop, open faced sandwich shop, and a bakery where we could see the professionals creating their masterpieces. He shared the food stories of his own family and tied them in with historical movements in the Czech Republic. There was so much good food, insightful information, and fun conversation that it became a highlight of our time in Prague. Following the tour, Vladimir shared a list of recommended restaurants so we could eat well the rest of our time in Prague.

Great afternoon. Delicious and quality food in uniquely different places. Vlad is a generous and interesting host. It was a bit like wandering through Prague with a friend who lives there , updating us on the history and current cultural influences and letting us in on his favourite places to go. Definitely recommend

Vladimir was an excellent guide for our tour, with clear explanations of the food, the history of Czechia and the local culture. He had several cancellations, so my husband and I were the only ones on the tour and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. I can't recommend this tour enough!

Vladimir showed us some terrific food places throughout Prague. We went back to two of the stops to try more things they had to offer since we liked what was served on the tour so much.
The tour was kept on a good pace where almost anyone can easily keep up. On top of that Vladimir was very conscious of the hippieness and wellbeing of his guests.
He gave our group a lot of great historical information throughout the walk. Prague is filled with history and I think Vladimir did a good job of telling us about what was relative.
Overall, we would recommend taking this tour. Vladimir's English is excellent and nothing was ever lost in translation.

Hi I use a stick to assist in walking and I walk slowly how would I cope with a tour like this
Written 1 August 2019
Honestly, it is great way to get a feel for the city and the culture, but the tour is a hike. The walkways are mainly cobblestone, and uneven in places. It can be a good 10-15 minute walk between stops. My suggestion is to contact Vladimir, and explain the situation. He is a super nice guy, and he may have a idea to make the tour easier to navigate. I'd certainly reach out to him. He would be the person reading an email, if you sent one. I hope it works out for you!

We have teens who will not drink and we also don’t drink is there another food tour we can go on?
Written 7 March 2019
We also had someone on our tour who didn’t drink and it was not an issue at all. The tour guide is very laid back and will take into consideration the group he has with him. Drinking Alcohol is not mandatory and you can always ask for another beverage if possible. However , since it is the idea of this specific tour you may want to find one that doesn’t include alcohol and in return be a cheaper price.
Written 7 March 2019
I only drink spirits - can that be accommodated?
Written 20 February 2019
if you let your tour guide know in the very beginning he most likely will be able to make adjustments to suit your requests. Granted that in that area it is mostly focused on beer it would be best not to expect to have spirits at each location. the tour will also include other people so the guide will need to take into consideration the requests of others. If you are looking for a drink focused tour, this may not be the best choice. Otherwise it’s a great tour! I hope you enjoy.
Written 23 February 2019
It was about 4.5 hours. It is laid back so no real set ending time.

I just booked this tour through Trip Advisor. How do I get in direct contact with the tour agency to advise of my dietary restrictions, and my hotel pick up?
Thank you in advance!
Written 11 July 2018
As far as I am aware, there is no hotel pick up. We met at a designated spot which was on information sheet when I printed the voucher. I would look on that sheet as it might have a way to get in contact with the guide.
