- susankP1078TB0 contributionsGreat wine and fun in PragueAndrea was such a pleasure and the tour was really fun! We saw things we would never have seen in Prague had we not taken the tour. We started with sparkling wine in the gardens and her knowledge of the history was very interesting and gave so much background - it made us really appreciate Prague. I highly recommend this tour!Written 29 October 2024
- 347mattip0 contributionsA great half-day tour into the world of wine in PragueMany thanks to the wonderful Andrea for an excellent and enjoyable half-day tour into the world of wines! We started our Sunday morning with sparkling wines at a vineyard near the center of Prague, a true hidden gem for us tourists. We learned about the fascinating history of the area and its creator. Even at this first stop, Andrea generously offered us high-quality drinks from her bag. We then continued to the main winery, where we explored not only the growing conditions of different grape varieties and the wine production process, but most importantly, the final products: amazing wines, all guided by Andrea’s professional expertise. We tasted different vintages and learned about their differences. The whole tour was unforgettable. Perhaps next time, we'll take an even longer tour!Written 13 October 2024
- richardmX785RY0 contributionsHighlight of our trip to PragueThis tour from Prague is an absolute must for anyone who loves to explore, learn, and enjoy delicious wine and food pairings. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, the experience was seamless and delightful. T Our guide, Andrea, was exceptional. Her extensive knowledge of viniculture, both historical and modern, was impressive. Each stop was filled with fascinating stories making us feel like we had a backstage pass to the region’s rich heritage. The wine and food pairings were a highlight, with each tasting session feeling like a gathering with an old friend. Andrea’s warmth and enthusiasm made the tour even more special. By the end of the day, it felt like we had known her for years. This tour was undoubtedly a highlight of our trip to Prague. If you’re looking for a unique and enriching experience, this is it. Cheers to Andrea for an unforgettable adventure!Written 11 October 2024
- sarrasmile20230 contributionsA Do-Not-Miss Adventure Tour (Wine Included)A day tour from Prague that is an absolute pleasure for curious people who like to learn a lot, laugh, and get one of the most unique guided tours of the area…and don’t forget their wine and food pairings are delicious also! Why not get picked up at the hotel, take a nice drive through the bohemian countryside, and eat and drink with what feels like a friend you have known for years? This was 100% a highlight of our trip. The tour includes plenty of viniculture knowledge past and present, but also physical adventures into deep cellars 100s of years old, mountain slope vine rows, castles and rivers, stories of fame and fortune, and you get a true back stage pass to all of it. Cheers to our guide Andrea for a great experience!Written 11 September 2024
- Y2922AOkathleenb0 contributionsAmazing wine tour!!My friend & I went to Prague for a girls' getaway, and booked this tour as a way to get outside Prague and experience the country's wine heritage. We really enjoyed at our stop in Mělník then had so much fun at the wineries! It was great to taste both familiar grapes crafted Czech-style as well as learn about all the cool varietals grown in the country. Andrea was so knowledgable and fun! By the end of the day, was "one of the girls!" In addition, she gave us tips for our next day's activities in Prague, creating a whole itinerary for us (including a super lunch spot & wine bar) that made for another perfect day. Definitely book a tour with her!!Written 1 August 2024
- Sgundewar0 contributionsWorth every pennyAbsolutely incredible experience. Gabriel, our guide, was so amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to and really made us feel special. This tour was so unique and we had an amazing time. We spent 10 days in Central Europe and this was easily one of the highlights. Cannot recommend this tour enough.Written 31 July 2024
- X1069DCjohnm0 contributionsVery enjoyable and informative private tourOur private wine tour was very enjoyable. Experiencing a beautiful hidden city park leading up to the vineyard was a special treat. Our second vineyard was equally fun, intriguing with amazing history and views. The wines were delicious and Betty, our guide, was knowledgeable and kind. We highly recommend this experience.Written 27 July 2024

- Tourist298534400210 contributionsThis Tour is Highly RecommendedWe highly recommend this tour! We're rather delayed in writing our review so we've had some time to reflect on our experience. We fondly reminisce about our time traveling to Moravia with Andrea every time we open a bottle of wine. This tour was the highlight of our extensive trip across Europe and such a lovey way to end our travel. Andrea tuned into us very quicky and adapted the tour in a manner that felt well curated to delight us. She has an extensive and established network to call upon which was obvious by the warmth we were received in all of the places we visited. Everyone we met was incredibly generous and welcoming and our heartfelt thanks goes to all of the oenologists who passionately shared their craft with us. We thought we knew a thing or two about wine but learned so much more about terroir, weather, grapes, geography, history etc. Andrea you are incredibly hospitable, we miss you. - Roving683625919260 contributionsSparkling Wine and/or Beer Lovers Perfect DayMy husband & I did a full day private trip to Bohemia Sekt sparkling wine cellar & Pilsner Urquell brewery with Andrea. We were conveniently picked up from our hotel, greeted with snacks, and hit the road for ~1 hr. We thoroughly enjoyed the Bohemia Sekt cellars. We received a very informative private tour where we learned about & witnessed the traditional method of sparkling wine creation, the bottling process, and finally got to try various samples of sparkling wine. We then headed to Pilsen to the Pilsner Urquell brewery where we had a delicious lunch before we did a group tour around the Brewery and sampled beer from their cellars. Andrea was an excellent guide. She had a great relationship with all of the folks at the wine cellar & brewery, was our personal photographer/already knew all the spots for the best photo ops, and very graciously recommended a great local spot for dinner. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves sparkling wine and/or Pilsner Urquell beer! Thanks so much Andrea! -Gabby & MichaelWritten 9 June 2024
- teresadG8040MU0 contributionsPrague GirlsTripOur Hidden Vineyards and Private Wine Tour with Andrea was amazing! She picked me and my two friends up from the apartment we were staying at and told us about the wines in Prague on the way to our first stop. We walked around the most beautiful park and drank bubbles while Andrea told us all about the history of why it was built. The Bohemia Sekt we drank was so delicious we bought more after our tour to drink for the rest of the time we were in Prague. When we got to the winery Andrea told us all about the wines and the winemaker while we walked around the vineyard. We then got a private wine tasting in the cellar of a white, a rose and two reds. The Reisling we tasted is not like the overly sweet Reisling’s they have in the United States. It was really good. Me and one of my friends consider ourselves wine snobs but all of these wines were delicious. I would highly recommend this tour and Andrea!!Written 5 May 2024
- katieg1870 contributionsTour so nice we went twice!I could not more highly recommend this wine tour! I have now been on this tour twice and it is a staple for us any time we are in Prague! Andrea does an amazing job of infusing history with the lessons about wine and you go to places that you would not otherwise go to in Prague. An absolutely cannot miss in Prague and I can't wait to try more of her tours!Written 17 April 2024
- Adri1308_20240 contributionsWonderful Experience in Czech RepublicIt was a great trip! I loved the way Andrea showed us the place and also described a lot of information about Melnik and wine history. Even though my kids were already exhausted she managed to keep them interested and walking around the three floors while details were coming to us.Written 11 April 2024

We had a fantastic day in Kutna Hora with Andrea. She picked us up at our hotel and had snacks and water in the car. ( We took several great day trips out of Prague, but Andrea was the only one who provided this. A nice touch, and appreciated.) We took the scenic route through the countryside, which we enjoyed very much. The biodynamic winery was in a lovely old monastery, and the owner himself came out to complete the tasting and tour. They are passionate about their production methods and the wines were lovely. Andrea then gave us a wonderful tour of the town and the church, St. Barbara’s Cathedral, which was one of the most beautiful churches we visited on this trip. We had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, then visited Sedlec Ossuary. Along the way Andrea took photos, which she sent to us the next day.
On the whole, this was like spending a day with a knowledgeable friend. The communication prior to the trip was excellent. Also, most other day trips excluded the cost of admission, meals, etc. This trip is fully inclusive, which makes for a very relaxing day. Andrea also shared restaurant and wine recommendations. We tried several restaurants in Prague that we would never have known about, and they were all outstanding. Whether you are a wine novice or expert, this is an excellent trip. We enjoy wine and history/culture, so it was a perfect combination for us. We hope to return and take their longer trip to the wine region of Moravia.

Dear Rachel,
thanks a lot for your nice review! I really appreciate your time and effort. And mainly your kind words. It is always very nice to meet people like you, who are keen to explore the country they are visiting and gain as much experience and knowledge as possible. I am glad I could be part of it. Anytime when you would be planning your next wine trip here in Czech (but maybe with a connection to other countries as well), please do not hesitate to contact us.
We would be more than happy to be your wine guides again!
Cheers and I believe it was not your last experience with Czech wines or Czech Republic in general. Warm regards,
Andrea

We booked this tour to escape Prague which was too much full of tourists. We heard of Kutna Hora being a nice historical city and as we like wines, we chose this tour that mixes wine and heritage. And that was it ! We discovered great wines produced by such a kind family. The woman took her time to epxlain how they grow wines organically. We visited the very old cave and saw even amphores ! Then we had a nice typical lunch and visited amazing churches, all different with their own style. I've never seen so many bones in the last one! Andrea, our guide, was Always smiling and so knowledgeable about her country. And of course passionate with wine! We'll come back t ovisit South Moravia where the best Czech wines are supposed to be produced!

Among various reasons, this tour deserves 5 stars for its originality. I've been on a fair few tours in other wine-making regions but this one is the first that had such a diversity of wineries, from the grand castle in Kutna Hora to a family business that felt as authentic as it was small. The Cistercian church and cellars built in the rock deep underground were particularly cool...
To be fair, this review would not be complete without mentioning Isabelle. A great guide and lovely company!
All in all, highly recommended!!
