About
Simply, it is a real journey, more than a trivial tour. I will offer you my experience, my studies and my habits as a "Prague". I will try to stimulate your curiosity by establishing a dialogue with you. Therefore, there will be no "robotic explanations" but I will try to drain into your memories, concepts and situations, visible only through the passage in certain places. During the first Tranche we will touch 1900 and its most bloody events (from the Holocaust to the Prague Spring). We will travel through history, passing through courtyards and galleries, up to the Astronomical Clock. We will finish this first part, immersed in the Jewish culture "from their rules, to their cuisine". During the afternoon, however, we will go up the hill, where Prague will show its royal charm and "magical, alchemical and romantic" power. The route will then take us through the small neighborhood, with the Knights of Malta, the John Lennon Wall and Charles Bridge: 135797531

During the first Tranche: We will visit together, at a leisurely pace (relaxation first of all!) the most important districts of Prague, such as the Old Town "Stare Mesto" (from its main squares, to the Astronomical Clock, passing through medieval courts, churches and galleries). We will pass through the New Town "Nove Mesto", with the contemporary works of David Cerny (see the "Metamorphosis" inspired by Kafka and "Saint Wenceslas with the horse upside down"), a Franciscan garden frozen in time and some Art passages Nouveau. Slowly, we will get to touch the sad themes of the Holocaust and the Communist Soviet Regime (Prague Spring and Velvet Revolution). We will descend the hill, passing through small non-touristy alleys, which were inhabited by alchemists and astronomers, up to the Little Quarter "Mala Strana", place of the Knights of Malta. We will end our trip with the John Lennon Wall, the Child of Prague and the medieval Charles Bridge - approx 2.00pm/5.00pm. ATTENTION: during the periods of Christmas (from 01 December to 08 January approximately) and the Christian Easter, access will not be made inside the Castle, as the waiting time for the security checks would take time away from the Grand Tour , therefore other interesting places will be included in the upper part of the city. For access during this period, only by organizing a Prague Castle Tour (not on Sunday mornings and/or during Christian holidays, due to the forced closure of the Cathedral). Duration about 6 hours with n. 2 Tranches and a free lunch break (no admission fee, no lunch included)

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- fabiovacirca0 contributionsA great day to learn Prague and moreGreat day Alessandro was very insightful and gave us a lot of fun facts and side stories. The whole day flowed in a very natural way with the right pace and allowed us to see the touristic attractions as well as corners of local life that we would have never seen if alone Ale is a multi faceted individual with deep cultural knowledge in very different areas. We had the chance to learn about his life and experience which made the tour very friendlyWritten 14 October 2023
- RolandS1470 contributionsTourist trapWe had the 6 hour tour combined with the 4 hour tour, which ended up in chaos, the tour being reversed - highlights such as the vanicular scrapped - substituted by street car- a boring boating experience without commentary for the captain to be able to watch the ice hockey- a tourist trap!! Guide Dana was trying to cope and did a good job for this poorly managed company- we tipped her generously. The operator should get his house in order before being granted a license.Written 26 May 2022

After following Alessandro’s Instagram profile, my group of friends and I relied on him for our first time in Prague. Alessandro came to meet us by proposing itineraries suitable for our tastes and needs, having teenagers in the group. We therefore visited the Jewish Quarter and the Old Town on the first day and the Castle and Mala Strana on the second day, living a beautiful and extremely interesting experience. Alessandro was the perfect solution for our experience in Prague because he combined the ease of the language, for us, being Italian himself combined with a boundless passion for his adopted country, a passion that shines through in every information and every step we walked with him. Alessandro was able to capture the attention of adults and children, with engaging and exciting notions. We couldn't have brought home a better travel memory and are really happy with the experience we had with him.

With Alessandro we did the Grand tour of Prague and it was a unique experience.
Alessandro was an exceptional guide, he made us discover and experience Prague like perfect Prague locals. We visited tourist and non-touristy places, ate typical Czech food and he gave us excellent advice.
Alessandro shared with us his knowledge, his culture and his love for the city, he told us stories, legends and anecdotes that made us laugh but also emotional.
It was a day full of history and culture, a very beautiful tour that we highly recommend to those who want to discover a wonderful city, like Alessandro's way of doing things.
A thousand thanks!

Forget the usual guided tour and prepare yourself for a wonderful experience in the company of Alessandro who with enthusiasm, cheerfulness and professionalism (as well as a great knowledge of all the places we visited) accompanied us on a 360 degree visit of Prague, making us visit unusual places and true of the city! I absolutely recommend it because we were really enthusiastic about it and finding people who talk about their work with love is not something to be underestimated! We carry a piece of her and Alessandro within us from Prague that is impossible not to appreciate!

Prague is an objectively wonderful city, but visiting it with Alessandro's guide will take you back in time, you will feel like you are experiencing certain historical events, you will feel like you can smell the smells and noises of that time.
This is an exciting tour that will make you smile, move and love this city madly.
Thanks Alexander

As the title suggests, Alessandro is a special guide, with the gift of mixing the interests and history of the city with a bit of humor which is always a pleasure. His stories were never boring and above all easily understandable. I had the pleasure of doing two tours with him, he was a perfect choice and I will have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

It was not a simple tour of Prague but a day full of historical news, curiosities, laughter, stories that actually happened. All this allowed us to spend a day in company discovering places not only touristic but also fundamental and significant in the history of the city of Prague!
Super recommended for those who want to visit this city in an unusual but exciting way.
Thank you very much to Alessandro.

There are so many ways to spend a weekend in Prague, but visiting the city with the precious presence of Alexander allows you to grasp the truest and least touristic aspects of the places, the curiosities and the true essence of the places. He is not a simple "tour guide", but a very special person and a true enthusiast of this beautiful city and beyond. Thanks to him we spent a truly unforgettable day, discovering beauty, culture and super interesting anecdotes.
He also gave us many tips on clubs, restaurants and other places to visit without him.
Alessandro is certainly the right person for those who do not want to take a simple tour of the city, but are looking for a real experience to remember.
Thanks for everything Ale. See you soon, Ada.
