About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 977fernl0 contributionsA fun way to spend an eveningThis was a great trip, good value for money, tourguide was comical, wouldn’t have minded abit more info (historical perhaps) on the tour in EnglishWritten 22 September 2024
- Dom23Mason0 contributionsExcellent Way to see GdanskI booked this without realising it was a full blown guided tour of Gdansk, thinking it was just a casual trip around the city where you could have a few drinks, listen to some music and admire the views. Completely my fault for not reading the description properly! As other reviews have mentioned, make sure you copy and paste the location link into Google Maps instead of Apple Maps. The meeting point is the Yard Cafe, where you can buy drinks to take on board with you. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the weather was perfect, which allowed for some great pictures!Written 8 September 2024
- Culture014622166510 contributionsA genuine highlight of my trip to GdanskDefinitely one of the highlights of my time in Gdansk, easily booked through Tripadvisor and everything ran on time as advertised. Great cruise with informative crew and the opportunity to see so much of Gdansk from a different viewpoint with lots of time to take photos! Would definitely recommend!!Written 6 September 2024
- WayfaringLibertarian0 contributionsAn extremely pleasant eveningThis is an extremely pleasant way to spend an evening in Gdańsk. The cruise was a bit slow to get moving, but they were just waiting for the sun to go down - understandable. Plus, it allowed for plenty of time to take photos. The starting point was unfortunately difficult to find. Be sure to look for the “Yard Cafe” once you reach “Dokowa 1.” On foot, I had much better luck finding “Dokowa 1” via Google Maps rather than Apple Maps. This was a lot of fun and reasonably priced to be a 90-minute experience!Written 5 August 2024
- judithb2940 contributionsDisappointing cancellationWe were disappointed that our cruise was cancelled on our recent trip to Gdansk. The cruise was cancelled because of crane works in the water and it was beyond their control, and I understand that the trip had to be cancelled. We had got a taxi to the embarkation point and had to get a taxi back to town, but we were only told that the cruise was cancelled when we got there - surely they could have let us know sooner to save us the cost of the taxis? The company have already refunded the cost and provided us with a voucher to use some other time, so they handled that well. Just wish we could have been advised of the cancellation sooner.Written 2 July 2024
- unao20140 contributionsHighly recommendExcellent cruise. Sunset was spectacular behind the cranes. Guide and driver were very good. Great way to see Gdansk from a different angle. Great value. Would highly recommend.Written 28 June 2024

- Andy46440 contributionsSunset cruiseFabulous trip around Gdańsk waterways. Sadly the cloud interfered with the sunset. Hubert, our guide was very knowledgable and very witty. Highly recommend this trip, great value for money and very informative.Written 18 September 2023
- Shjmek10 contributionsGreat way to get a different view of GdańskTook the Sunset trip this evening, while the clouds got in the way a bit it didn’t distract from the experience. A lovely way to see parts of the docks and into the city. Thoroughly recommended. We were on boat 5 and our guide was excellent.Written 17 September 2023
- V1185PXkevina0 contributionsMost unique boat trip in GdanskThis boat trip covers both an amazing sunset trip as well as a city boat trip on the canals. Everything is well organized once you get to the departure point.Written 2 August 2023
- SimonT2270 contributionsGreat tripGreat trip. You get to see the shipyard cranes with a stunning sunset back drop. The guides are really knowledgeable and i would thoroughly recommend it.Written 6 July 2023
- 1802dina0 contributionsReally nice and recommended!I loved the interesting route, and the clear, intelligent explanations of the guide. It was nice that the guidance was by a real person and not by technical means. I also liked that they had blankets for the cooler evenings. The round trip was about 2 hours long but on the way back you could get off the boat next to the old town and not wait till the end of the tour. One comment: the meeting point wasn’t clear enough from the instructions, maybe you should add a clarification such as: next to kiosk, near the water.Written 23 June 2023
- Jessham1310 contributionsBeautiful but tricky to find.Super fun! But so hard to find. They are kind of hiding behind some giant red metal containers in a kinda deserted area near the shipyards. They need a sign my the street with arrows.Written 5 June 2023
- DeeChase26040 contributionsrelaxing eveningThe staff, Captain Rick, Robbie and Lindsey were very personable and accommodating. The cruise was very relaxing and beautiful.Written 29 October 2022

If you want your plans and your weekend to be ruined completely then go with them! We bought tickets for our family of 5 two days in advance of the tour scheduled for Saturday at 16:30. We received our tickets by email 40 minutes before the tour start and then we got cancellation email 30 minutes before the start with no explanations of the reason. Starting point is located quite far from the city center, 25 minutes walk. When we finally arrived to the starting point we met a bunch of people who were similar unlucky as us. So, we all have been waiting for a while and then finally left the place. Had the cancellation been made earlier, we would have chosen another boat trip option. As a result, we didn’t manage to take a boat trip at all, which is the must for Gdańsk visit, as it was too late to switch to another provider. Such an unprofessional company. Do not recommend!

The guide was great and it was a pleasant trip. He even offered to drop people off closer to the city because this tour originates out of the way. However, the tour is really only 1 hour long. The rest of the time is just getting back from where you end up. It is not a circular tour but instead a one way tour that you end up back-tracking. In addition, it might have been good to offer more than just lukewarm soda water at the start. In the summer the sun is just beating down on you. More refreshments would have been welcome, even the alcoholic kind!

This is a great trip if you want to learn about the history of the city and see a wide range of architecture. The guide was extremely engaging and all information was useful and engaging. Highly recommended and great value fir price paid. It was great to hop off on outskirts of built up area on riverfront on way back to save a taxi fare .

Galar cruise - personal, cosy, clear and friendly guide. Walk to boarding spot just outside historical center, see shipyard, center, and the waters surrounding the city on the historical 12 person Galar vessel. 80 minutes. Very much enjoyed this, and recommend!

The english speaking tour guide was really funny and engaging. He told us great stories about the area and buildings with some really interesting facts which made us want to go and visit the places on land. He left us feeling upbeat and with a smile on our faces with his quirky humour. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Gdańsk that is looking to experience the waterways with a well organised and hassle free tour guide.

This tour offers a unique view of the main city and the shipyard on board of a small traditional boat. Despite the boat being small, it’s particular shape provides good stability it doesn’t rock sideways like other small boats which is good for people who tend to get seasick. The staff is very friendly and the tour guides give you short but important information about the landmarks across the river. Definitely a worthy tour. Just make sure to get to the shipyard with some time to spare (10-15min) because the boarding spot might be a little hard to find if you’re not using GPS.

The views were unique to anywhere else in the city. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The route goes around both larger islands and up to the canal lock to the wetlands behind. I loved hearing the stories about how the city rebuilt and the different rules put on different parts of the city.

The boat trip was excellent. We had a lovely sunny day which helped, but the tour guide was very knowledgeable and humorous, making the trip very enjoyable. The starting point was very difficult to find and I would advise other potential tourists to walk towards the shipyards and look out for the Yard Cafe, which is where you set off from.

Excellent tour with a guide who was informative and interesting. It's great to see the city from water level, including a lot of bird life, and getting beyond the initial tourist waterside strip. The boat was small, comfortable and fun to be in. We did the city tour but are considering booking again for the shipyards tour. Recommended.

This is a must-do tour in Gdansk if you would like to get an overview of the geography of the city. Our guide was lively and animated and made the various buildings we passed come alive with his interesting stories. We were blessed with excellent weather which was particularly wonderful as the traditional Polish boat we were in was open. I would definitely recommend this tour.
