What to expect
Begin your tour in central Krakow, where you’ll join up with your guide, slip on your helmet and hop on your bike. Follow your guide through the city streets, passing Pope John Paul II’s former residence and traveling along the Vistula River into the countryside. Purchase snacks at a riverside cafe and recharge before pedaling up to Poland's oldest functioning monastery, Tyniec Abbey. Learn about the daily rituals of the monks as you wander the church and museum, and hear the history of 11th-century structure. Afterward, enjoy some time to peruse the shop, filled with treats crafted by the monks, including wine, oils, teas and more. Cycle through the Wolski Forest, pausing to explore the ruins of a hillside fortress. Conclude your excursion at a scenic lake ringed by cliffs, the site of a former quarry where John Paul II worked during Poland’s Nazi occupation. Capture the sunset views of Krakow from the clifftops before returning to your original departure point.

Country tour to Tyniec Abbey
Jul 2019 • Couples
We spent a lovely 4 hours on the country tour to Tyniec Abbey, along the river and through a forest. Our guide Antony was very knowledgable and told us lots of interesting things along the way. He was very passionate about his home city of Krakow. We were lucky enough to be able to watch a kayaking competition going on on the river the day we went. The bikes were good and the ride was suitable for anyone at about 18miles. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get out and enjoy the countryside. We were lucky enough that it was just the 2 of us so more of a private tour.

Fantastic way to know Krakow and its surroundings
Oct 2018 • Solo
I enjoyed a lot the city bike tour, ideal in order to get an overview of the city (old town, Planty park, Wisła river bank, Kazimierz and Podgórze) and its main attractions. The lunch was included and we had pierogies, a classic Polish dumpling dish (and it was delicious!). I enjoyed it a lot, so decided to join the next country bike tour another day.

The country bike tour has more of a scenic nature without the frequent stops of the city tour. We rode by the Wisła river and visited the Tyniec abbey, then made our way through forest and villages, stopped at Zakrzówek and watched the sunset from a hill with views to the city. This tour was more physically demanding, but it was definitely worth it and the feeling is so rewarding after cycling around most of the day and having seen such beautiful landscapes.

Both guides I had, Anthony for the city tour and Tom for the country one, are very knowledgeable and provided detailed explanations about our surrounding in each stop, many stories from the past, and were happy to answer any question. Very recommended experience!

Nice way to see Krakow and surrounding areas!
Oct 2018 • Friends
We had an awesome tour guide who paced the group very well, was very knowledgeable able to answer questions. I was quite impressed with the bicycle paths available in Poland. The length of the ride and skill level was suitable for families and average riders. There are plenty of photo opportunities. I recommend this ride. Additionally we rented the trek bikes for a full day to ride around Krakow on our own.

Great fun
Our guide Tomas was super energetic and passionate about his culture and his city. The ride takes you through both country lanes and city streets. The Abbey and the city hilltop overlook are the high points, literally and figuratively. The four of us in the group all had to walk the bikes up the hills at least part of the way—but so what? It’s a moderately demanding ride (you will shift gears often) but the physical exercise in the middle of our Poland trip was exactly what we wanted and needed. Frequent stops, plenty of rest. The best bathroom break and food is at the Abbey which also has a great souvenir shop to support them. (Get the cider. It is, indeed, heavenly.)

Awesome tour, even in the rain
Jun 2018 • Solo
I did this tour in June, Unfortunately it was a wet day and was worried the tour wouldn't be any fun. I could not have been more wrong, even though it was wet, it was still warm and this was a fantastic, amazing tour. I got a little wet then dried off. We were rewarded by the most gorgeous, fantastic, amazing forest scenery with mist just after the rain, I couldn't believe how amazing the countryside is just a few KM out of Krakow. I highly highly recommend this tour, even if its wet.

Fantastic fun tour
Jul 2018
This is a brilliant cycling tour. Our guide was fun and full of stories and legends. Though there was only 2 of us on the tour, it wasn’t at all rushed. Great to see outside of Kraków. Very tranquil in places. Favourite places were the abbey and view point. Nice break in the middle of the tour. Highly recommend.
