Excellent history trip of Krakows history!
Our guide was excellent bringing alive the story of Krakow and sharing her own experience and stories relating to her grandfather and great grandfather! I shed more than a few tears. It wasn't what I was expecting but I was not disappointed would definitely recommend the tour.

    Rushed tour …
There were too many people in the group So the tour guide will start to explain something whilst some members of the group were unable to be in the same room There was no time to look at or read all the exhibits This tour is best done with an audio guide… if there is one

Very well organised, great customer service.
Great tour, guide was very knowledgeable, very well organised would recommend. We did the salt mines on the same tour, worth doing all three in one day.

    A Nice Walk
This was a nice walk on a very cold day. The guide was very knowledgeable about the city. This was on my last day after a week in Krakow and I wish I had done this walk earlier. I had already walked most of what we covered, but without knowing the rich history of the buildings and area.

    Poor experience
It was very unorganized, we were dropped off with no directions and struggled to find our war back to the bus. Tour itself was not informative and we were giving little information.

Book this tour you won’t regret it!
This is our first visit to Krakow and our guide Joanne (a very friendly lady) proved an excellent tour guide. Her knowledge of Krakow’s history was brilliant she kept us enthralled. Joanne was also helpful in recommending places of interest to visit (including restaurants). Highly recommended!

    A must see
Booked this tour through my local travel agent. When I had my paperwork I rang seeKrakow to confirm. Day before tour received instruction where to meet and the time of pickup, which was slightly different from our original time but it gave us more time to have breakfast. Tour bus was on time and was well organised. Our bus driver Sarah drove us to the mines, got our tickets and handed us over to our English speaking guide, who didn't disappoint us. She was witty and very knowledgeable. The mines are stunning and well worth a visit. Plenty of stairs going down and a lift vack up, phew. Thankyou SeeKrakow, a lovely tour.

A genuine life affirming visit if you get the chance to visit you should take it
Everyone should visit once in their lives and never forget what people could do to other humans. I thought I knew the history but actually being there where those poor people suffered made it so much more real and much worse . I cannot say I enjoyed it but I’m glad I went it was a sobering experience

We were the only people in the group (by chance) and spent a wonderful 3 hours with Johanna, our tour guide. Johanna showed us around her beautiful city…we visited the Jewish quarter and ended up in the Ghetto. We learnt a lot about the history of Krakovian Jews and stopped off in a cafe for a short pit stop. Just before we finished at Oskar Schindler’s enamel factory, Johanna kindly showed us how to purchase tram tickets for our journey back to the Old Town….definitely worth every penny.

For 3+ hours, Andrij is an excellent guide, telling compelling stories as you move all around the quarter. A large part of it was about pre-war times, really setting you up for the aftermath of the Nazi occupation. I highly recommend taking the tour and then cross the river to see remnants of the Jewish ghetto. It really all works together.

We did the Jewish Quarter Kazimierz Guided Walking Tour. Before the tour, I was confused as to why it started outside Kazimierz. But once we met our guide, Andrzej (Andrew), it was immediately apparent, and much appreciated. Jewish life in Krakow was rich and diverse before the Holocaust, with many cultural and economic contributions from the Jewish community. Andrzej has clearly dedicated himself to learning about this history over many years. He tied it together with current information about the growing community and answered many questions I had about my own family history just by telling his stories. He brought life to Jewish history and gave us a great memory of our visit to Krakow.

The tour was easy to book, hassle free. Met at at a central location which was easy to get to. The Guide was a very nice knowledgeable gentleman. We took the english speaking tour and his english was excellent. He was able to easily answer the questions asked by other people in our group. Would definitely recommend this if you want to learn about the history of the Jewish community in the town. The Only mistake was our own which was that we forgot to take water with us, it was a very hot day and soon regretted the mistake! so worth remembering. Thanks

Really packed with information about the Jewish Quarter and a lot about the history of Krakow in general.
Our tour lasted well over 3 hours with no break at all so we really got our moneys worth as we were the only 2 on the trip!
Our guide Andrezj was very professional but disappeared so quickly at the end of the tour that we didn't have time to tip him or thank him for his informative tour!

This walking tour is suitable for anyone first visiting Krakow or those looking to learn about the city’s long history covering the various kings and transition away from being the county’s capital city, review of synagogues and churches in the area, Jewish ghetto in 1940’s and Schindler who helped over 1200 Jews.

It’s a comfortable 3 hour walk from the Old Town to the south side of the river in Podgorze finishing at Schindlers Factory. The whole experience is fascinating as saw remnants of Jewish life from the 1400’s to 1943 when the last of Jewish population was removed from the city.

The guide allows questions on route and is extremely knowledgeable about Polish history and Krakow as a whole. It’s incredible value and a no brainer for those looking to gain huge insight into the city.

Our guide was outstanding and knowledgeable. I don’t think it could’ve been better. She included all of the major sites in the Jewish quarter, and her explanation of the history and the character of the order was outstanding. She shows a depth of knowledge and an easy manner in conveying the information to the group

On Monday, October 30, 2023, I had the opportunity to take a friend on a wonderful trip around Kazimierz. I highly recommend Mr. Andrzej Matysek as a guide to all places related to the history and presence of Jews in Krakow. The guide had a great idea for the tour route, stopping us in every place related to Jewish culture - from the market square to ... the center of Kazimierz. Time passed and knowledge increased, even before we had a chance to ask a question, answers were already being given. I have the most beautiful memories of this event and I am proud that we have such professional service for foreign tourists and that we are able to show our richness of multiculturalism so beautifully. I RECOMMEND THE COMPANY wholeheartedly.

Walkative Jewish Krakow
It was a amazing trip around Jewish Kraków with Tomasz (Big Tom) as his knowledge of this subject is immense.
His storytelling is second to none, and he brought the stories to life with photos and his personality.
I would highly recommend this walking tour, and if it's with Tomasz, then i know that you're in for a real treat.
It's a geet canny tour like...!
Whey Aye Tomasz...

NOTE:
Don't forget that this is a free walking tour, the guide only makes a living by the tips they receive at the end of the tour. Make sure you show your appreciation by giving them a reasonable tip.

My Husband and I took the tour with the intention of going to the Schindler Museum after wards, mainly as the tour ended here and also because it fitted nicely with our exploration of polish history and WW2.

The tour took us to areas we would not have seen unless for the tour.

It’s just over a 2km walk with a break in between for refreshments in a nice bar.

I loved the experience. We seen inside one of the most beautiful Christian synagogues I’ve ever seen- also the only one I’ve ever seen… but it was truly stunning!

We were lucky with our guide. He was both informative and interesting. Over all his story telling was captivating! As he was of original polish descent he was even able to tell us how the war effected him and his family.

I would highly recommend this tour. Lots of information regarding the locality, with little shops and trendy eateries along the way, that locals use. He also shared information about bridges and trams with us and also, how to avoid the most expensive drink you could ever end up paying for.

A great way to see part of the city. 5 stars.
