The Jewish Quarter - Kazimierz Guided Walking Tour couldn’t be any better! The tour guide was very friendly and competent. The tour was very interesting and filled with a lot of information. I also got to know important places from the movie schindler's list. I recommend it!

Interesting and educational
Aug 2020
We found the tour both interesting and educational. Our guide (Conrad) was very informative and courteous throughout the three hour tour (including the much needed 15 minute coffee break), and both his English and knowledge of the subject matters were excellent. Alas, thanks to coronavirus, we (a family of five) were his first customers for months.

A very good guide with Conrad around the Jewish quarter giving us all the relevant information in a very professional way. Had a 15 min coffee break and Carrie do;over the river to heroes square for more excellent info. Completing the tour at Schindlers factory, a very enjoyable experience, highly recommended for everyone.

Fascinating!
Feb 2020 • Couples
Met in the square by our guide 'Jack' Friendly welcome. Walked towards the Jewish Quarter . Jack was a mine of information and was passionate about what he was telling us. Stopped for coffee, which was very welcome. His story telling in the Ghetto was fascinating. Walked to Schindler's Enamel Factory where the tour ended. Quite a walk, but he did so at the group's pace. Would highly recommend a walking tour as we felt we missed nothing.

Fantastic tour
Feb 2020 • Couples
Jack, our tour guide was amazing, great storyteller and explained everything in detail that was understandable. Was offered a 15 break 1/2 way through which was needed as it is quite long. Make sure you wear suitable footwear. But overall, couldn’t fault it.

Enlightening
So now we know why Krakow had such a large Jewish population, what happened and where during the occupation, and the fact that many Jewish people visit the city. We also learned about the fact that although the Jewish population is now very small, they punch well above their weight, staging an annual festival and more. Finally, our guide told us what it was like growing up under Russian control, and the delight and freedom that 1989 delivered. Well worth the investment and a great way to start our visit to Krakow

Easy paced informative Jewish Qtr tour
Dec 2019 • Family
Michael was our tour guide, his English was clear and understandable. He was friendly and answered my and the other couple’s questions. I had my three children with us and the youngest had to use the toilet half way through, I thought we’d have to leave the tour but he guided us in the direction of a public toilet thankfully. We saw many spots, common market square area, a couple memorials, a spot from the movie Schindler’s List and pointed out photographs from that time period on display outside the bldg. The stops that stood out to me most were the selection point chair memorial and the remaining ghetto wall (the stones were made to look like tombstones). Finally ended at Schindler’s factory which he explained wasn’t the actual factory. The factory was destroyed long ago, where the museum is now was the administration bldg. We did not go into the Schindler factory, the lines were too long, next time. He also told some stories to entertain the kids about the legend of the dragon and history of the monarch and history of why the Jewish population was looked down upon at that time, different cultures/loaning money w/interest was acceptable in Jewish culture not others etc. Nice tour.

Michael did a superb job in showing Krakow’s Jewish Quarter
Dec 2019 • Solo
Visiting Krakow’s Jewish Quarter and Ghetto was a humbling experience and I would highly rate Michael’s experience as a guide. Michael has encyclopaedic knowledge of history, is an excellent communicator and was very effective at listening and answering any questions. I also appreciated his humility on a very difficult period of Polish history. I highly recommend taking this tour.
