About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- bernadetteemh0 contributionsA must doA must see when in Krakow. Very good and interesting. They say it is 800 steps. Steps means steps, its not all stairs. It is so interesting you don't actually notice the walking. I am on crutches and yes I did have a lift and missed the first 300 steps but I was well able for the tour, had no difficulty keeping up and hindered no one on the tour.Written 17 March 2025

The trip was amazing his English is very good, friendly, was on time for picking us up, very polite, gave us recommendations on where to eat in town centre. He knew exactly where he was going very organised. Could not have asked for a better tour guide definitely recommend him to other people.Written 15 March 2025

- isabelleaU6669YO0 contributionsLegendary Krakow TourMy partner and I went to on the auschwitz-birkenau tour with pickup from krakow and I cannot fault it! Our driver, Piotr, was amazing and was very prompt. He even provided suggested activities on what to do in Poland and little guides of things we were passing by on the side of the road. Our tour guide in the camps itself (unfortunately I cannot remember his name!!) was also so amazing and I highly recommend. The history of this tour is so devastating and was truly an unforgettable experience. Thank you Legendary krakow.Written 13 March 2025

- 60JLR0 contributionsCancelled our tour at 16:50 the evening beforeI had booked this tour well in advance of my visit to Krakow as I knew it would be busy on a weekend. The company cancelled the tour the evening before citing that “the activity could not go ahead due to a political event taking place at the destination”. This was not true. Fortunately I was able to book last minute with another company who got us to Auschwitz without a problem. I wonder whether the original company tend to overbook their spaces then end up cancelling some people’s places. Which is really poor practice and not fair on customers who go out of their way to plan ahead. I would not recommend booking with this company.Written 10 March 2025

Had a wonderful day, picked up close to our apartment at 8.10 and tour bus took us to the Shepherds hut for cheese and vodka then on to the beautiful mountain resort of Zacopane, time passed quickly on the bus due to the informative and friendly tour guide keeping us entertained. On to the thermal baths and tour guide took us through to the lockers and explained how to work the whole system which helped to make the experience even better. Would recommend this guide and the day out to all visiting Karkow, any age, suitable for kids too (minus the vodka). P.s. use the toilet up at the top of the hill in a restaurant or something rather than down at the bottom of the cable car as charge 4pln but can use card/cash if caught short. Also flip flops and towel recommended for thermal baths.

The Chocholow Thermal Baths themselves and the surrounding area were absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed our time at the baths and the variety of different pools and attractions for all ages. Unfortunately we went at a very busy time but both said we’d love to return when it’s quieter out of season.
Unfortunately our tour provider, Legendary Krakow, informed us the day before we were due to go that our evening visit at 4pm was no longer possible and the only other time we could go would be the 8am tour. Upon asking we were informed they were also no longer doing hotel pickup so we would need to make our own way to the pick up point. This resulted in a lot of scrambling to rearrange plans and we were disappointed as when we looked into it further there were events on at Chocholow that it seemed clear the tour operator should have known about in advance. We were really looking forward to being there in the dark when it was all lit up and a bit quieter. We were offered a 15% refund, however we only received a 10% refund.
Still, our guide was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable (probably the best we had of all our tours!) and the minibus was very clean and reasonably comfortable. Overall it ended up being an enjoyable experience and we were glad we went regardless of the challenges.

I booked the evening trip to Chocholow Thermal Baths as a treat on my birthday. The very reasonable price included the drive to the baths and back, and the ticket to get in.
The whole trip lasted from 16:00 to 22:30 including the journey there and back. The pick up location was just outside the old town. There were four of us on the trip (me and three Spanish ladies) and the journey there took about 2 hours. The time passed very quickly as the driver/guide Michal was very friendly and chatty, telling us about the architecture of the houses we were passing and giving us detailed instructions to help us navigate the very large thermal baths complex before we got there.
We had three hours in the baths. There were many different thermal pools, jacuzzis, water features and slides, including two large outdoor ones (the lower one had a bar and DJ on the Sunday night we were there). There was also one free sauna room included in the ticket price where you could keep your swimming costume on (the other saunas which you had to pay extra for required all clothes off). The facilities were very well organised - you got a wrist band which opened your locker to store your items and you could also use it to pay for food and drinks at the bars and restaurants so you didn't have to carry money. I brought my own towel and flip flops but you could rent both there if you didn't have them.
The journey back took only 1.5 hours and again passed quickly with Michal entertaining us with many interesting stories. In addition to being a great tour guide, we learnt he is also a talented musician. Michal was kind enough to drop us at our hotels rather than the meeting point which was nice as it was late when we arrived back (around 22:30) and I was a solo female traveller.

Amazing evening. The place has many pools and areas where to relax and enjoy your time. Food and drinks very affordable. Driver Michal gave us all the infos we needed for the thermal baths and entertained us with curiosity related to the places we were driving through. He is very punctual, which lead us to follow the plan of the day perfectly on time.

Michel was a great driver and trip leader , making us feel very welcome and giving great advice for our trip. We went on the trip not knowing it was a public bank holiday here in poland so the baths was cramped with people. I believe the baths would have been 100% better if going not on a public holiday.

Really enjoyed this part of our Zakopane trip. 11 different pools to choose from including jacuzzis, healing pools and hot pools. Outside pool had a swim up bar and everything is charged to your wristband to pay as you leave including the various restaurants. Take suitable footwear, ie flip-flops as no shoes are allowed after entry. Bring your own towel and also a bath robe if you are a bit shy. Lockers are also activated with your wristband and a shower before entry is compulsory. Overall a really enjoyable, relaxing activity, just beware the naturist area upstairs.

Absolutely amazing!! We had Maciek as our guide, he did an amazing job at explaining things once we got to the thermal baths, so there was no confusion. On the journey there and back he also explained some of the culture and history of Poland. We even stopped in a village on the way back for about 10-15 mins so we could see the oldest house in Poland. He also taught us a bit of polish. Overall, absolutely amazing experience the thermal baths are great. If your a family you could defo go to the morning one, there’s some amazing water slides. For couples or younger people I’d probably recommend going to the evening trip so you have people similar to your age and there’s also a DJ on the night at about 6pm. 10/10 trip would do again! Thank you Maciek 🙂

We were collected on time in a clean and modern mini bus at a convenient central city location by our driver, Maciek. He drove well too and from the Thermal baths and informed us at each stage about the journey times, pick up points etc. We were given our wrist bands by Maciek who took care of the check-in process at the Thermal baths.
The baths are clean, modern and well presented. We spent 3 hours relaxing there. The outdoor area is particularly nice. It was lovely looking up at the stars in the snow.

How much is it to rent a towel? And do you have to were flip flops to and from the pool?
