I tried ringing the number six times, but no answer. In the end, an hour before we needed to be at the airport the manager of our hotel got a hold of them and made sure our transfer turned up. They had arranged pick up from the wrong hotel with similar name despite me having originally sent the correct address and name of hotel. Unable to contact them to inform them of their error. So a taxi was required to get us to the destination of pick up. We shared the ride with a family of 4 others. The driver did not speak to any of us to make polite talk over the whole journey. When we exited the car he seemed rushed walking ahead of us again no conversation only to give instructions. The tour its self was amazing the tour guide was excellent and walked at a pace to allow everyone to gain knowledge and see and hear the history of the tour. She was wonderful x journey home was the same no conversation no music nothing. Everything was rushed and the driver could have made the experience a lot better with some input and light conversation.Written 11 January 2025
- paulhabets620 contributionsFlight delayedGot in touch with gr8 way via a transport platform they would pick me up at 22:00 in the evening from the airport in krakow, due to fog the flight was delayed for more than 2.5 hours, the driver Max Szkatula would wait for me, as soon as the plane had landed I already got a message that he was ready for me, and that feels very good, the ride from the airport to the city (25 minutes) was very pleasant and felt very safe. definitely recommended to do business with this company, and if you also get Max Szkatula as a driver everything goes perfectly.Written 11 January 2025

Daughter and Mum trip to the mountain resort of Zakopane. Booked in Krakow city centre and received excellent communication by WhatsApp. We were picked up on time by Krystian C who spoke very good English. Comfortable transport in minibus with 2 other Brit couples through beautiful scenery to the ski resort. Spent 1 1/2 hour here then picked up again and driven to the Chocholowskie Thermal spa resort. A bit like a Centre Park type building with many pools/jacuzzi/steam rooms and also outdoor hot water pools - even an outdoor cocktail bar. Fab experience swimming/relaxing surrounded with snowy mountains. Definitely worth the money. Would highly recommend but would take flip flops if went again! Thanks to Krystian for being a fab driver/tour guide who chatted when we wanted to and even offered to drop us in town if we wanted after or return us to our accommodation

Four of us (2 couples) took a trip to the Chocholow thermal pools and then went to visit Zakopane. We were texted by Dominika to ensure the pick up time was ok with us. We were picked up on time by a young man called Max. He was very humourous, enthusiastic and informative. He done everything he could to help us and made the experience what it was, a genuine credit to the company.
The thermal pools were amazing, very busy as it was half term, but an amazing experience, helped by the fact we got away with waiting in the huge queue thanks to Max. It had different pools, including 2 outside, 1 with volleyball and basketball nets and another with a whirl pool and a poolside bar plus much more (jacuzzi areas, sauna, bar and grill etc).
Our time in Zakopane was really nice, we had a meal at a lovely Polish restaurant and had a walk around. There are a lot of things and places there to try.
Would recommend this trip and will definitely be doing it next time we're in Poland, but maybe each thing on separate days to be able to make the most of the time in each place as there is literally so much to do.
ALSO, TRY THE CHEESE!

It was such a nice experience, Zakopane it's lovely and the view of the mountains was beautiful. The trip was nice and fun, thanks to our lovely guide Max, he was very organized and helpful, he answered all our questions and made us feel confortable at all time. He also brought us on different locations, to take pictures or to try the local cheese. Overall a really nice day!

We booked to go to zakopane with Gr8way tour operators in the main square. We booked 2.5 hours in the thermal baths and 2.5 hours in zakopane. The driver said we would be dropped off first. We got to the baths and he said that we will get picked up in 5 hours to go back home. Therefore we would have no time in zakopane. We told the driver we wanted what we had booked however the driver had never done the trip before therefore didn’t have a clue what to do.
We ended up going to zakopane for the full time. The tour driver didn’t have a clue where to take us and was asking us for places to go to!! It wasn’t his fault though. It turned out that the rest of the people on the trip had booked through a completely different tour operator and Gr8way had booked us on to someone else’s tour therefore the driver hadn’t been told what we had actually booked.
The tour was very badly organised through both tour operators. The driver originally drove us to the top of a mountain for a good view which had about 10 huts, some not even open. We only walked around for 10 minutes and got back in the bus. We then ended up going on the cable car up the mountain where the driver parked a 1mile and 1/2 from the bottom therefore be prepared for a long walk!! The rest of the tour had booked this therefore we were restricted to only going on the cable car.
We then got taken to zakopane shopping street which was really nice however because of all the delays we only got given an hour therefore not enough time to sit and eat a meal.
All in all, I felt very sorry for the driver however it was one trip we was looking forward too and the day was completely ruined by lack of organisation. I would not recommend booking this trip through Gr8way.

We had a great time with our driver, Damien. He was on time at our place.
Before Zakopane, we stopped in a small town on our way to the Tatra mountains and explained us some thing about the typical architecture.
He also sent us a GREAT proposition of a walk trip, recommended us what to see and showed us the best routes.
To be honest, we had done more excursions, before, but he was the warmest and closest one.
Nice to have met him. ☺️😁

Had the best day at zakopane, we visited the thermal baths and the town. Our driver bartek was so helpful and such a nice friendly man. His driving skills were put to the test when there was heavy snowfall on the way home, bartek made us feel very safe. If you use this company then I hope he is your driver. We found this company to be the cheapest for trips. We are off to auschwitz today

Our hotel Bachleda arranged a private car to view the Zakopane area. Dominika was our driver and was superb. Professional, friendly and safe. She drove through the snow and we had no concerns. She took on the role of guide and took us to her favourite restaurant which completed the experience.

Good contact with driver (Mikolaj) before trip. Came to collect us from hotel as no vehicle access, helped with luggage.
Fast, smooth drive to Zakopane, drop off very close to accommodation (again no vehicle access).
Polite and helpful. Very impressed with whole experience.

The driver MAX was excellent. He picked us up on time and drove us to zakopane on time. The ride was pleasant and he was extremely nice, also providing us with some interesting general knowledge on Krakow and Zakopane. HIGHLY recommended and would definitely book a trip with him again.

Excellent and comprehensive trip with extra special treat of having Mr Jacob as our guide. We thought we would only be getting a driver but Mr jacob went above and beyond everything and made this so enjoyable with stopping at various places of interest and explaining the historical background etc. I cant recommend him enough.... My family along with the kids were all very satisfied with the trip
