About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Jessefoxxy10 contributionsChristopher arranged the best experiences!AMAZING TRIP. I’d been to Auschwitz many times before, but my family wanted to go. Christopher was able to move heavy and earth to find us a driver and tickets when everything looked like it was sold out for awhile. Instead of waiting hours in the cold, we were picked up in a comfortable car, driven to the museum, and driven home. He also helped us arrange a custom walking tour around the city and a guided tour in Schindler’s Factory with Monika, who was great. Overall, cannot recommend Private Tours Krakow enough for their listed tours and private custom tours!Written 30 December 2024
- DayTrip219068693620 contributionsHighly recommendedI can’t thank Christopher enough for the incredible tour of Auschwitz. Even though the site was fully booked, they went above and beyond to secure a spot for me, which I truly appreciate. The guide was knowledgeable, compassionate, and respectful, providing a deeply moving and educational experience that I will never forget. Their professionalism and dedication to ensuring everything went smoothly made all the difference. If you’re looking for a tour company that genuinely cares about providing exceptional service, I highly recommend them!Written 20 December 2024

- A2313SMdennisl0 contributionsAmazing TourI have to say, I am not one with the patience to write the number of reviews asked of me on a daily basis. No matter how amazing the experience. But for my time with Christopher and his associate, Alicia, I will make an exception. My wife and I decided to visit Krakow as a different kind of experience. We had heard that the city is beautiful and culturally rich. Of course, its history as a holocaust venue is well known. We wanted our visit to Auschwitz-Birkinau to be sensitively treated and properly respectful. Both Christopher and Alicia delivered beyond any expectation. First, the one hour drive to the site was punctuated by our numerous questions to Christopher, our driver. He was more than eager to answer any question we had. And when it came to questions about Poland, which bled into questions about Central European history, which bled into religion and aesthetics, he was authoritative. You see, it turns out he has a PhD in Philosophy and has taught at university. Let's just say the discussions were illuminating and much appreciated. At Auschwitz, we were lucky enough to get Alicia as our guide. She was employed at Auschwitz for more than 20 years in its administration and is now a private tour guide on the rare occasion. I'm sure if you asked for her she may make herself available. She was amazing. Despite her many years at the camp she confessed to getting emotional with each visit. My wife and I could see it and feel it, which is precisely what makes a private tour so meaningful. Well, I've been going on too long, although I have much more to say. My recommendation is not to hesitate to book with Christopher. I'm positive he and his team will deliver exactly what you want, and to do it with grace, compassion, and flexibility. Bravo.Written 16 November 2024
- marymZ7598XG0 contributionsExcellent experienceMy husband and I spent 3 days with Christopher (one of those with someone he recommended) and it was excellent. We did a 4 hour walking tour of Krakow, visited Auschwitz, the Salt Mine and took a train to Warsaw for a walking tour there. Christopher was incredibly knowledgeable on all topics and so pleasant to spend time with. He shared many topics of interest even beyond the tour. His recommendations for hotels, restaurants, activities were excellent and so helpful. We would highly recommend him and will plan to revisit based on recommendations of other places to see for which we ran out of time.Written 12 November 2024
- vpeppler0 contributionsA wonderful guideChristophe is a very interesting person. He has a vast knowledge in history, politics and philosophy to name a few. Our drive to Auschwitz was very enriching. We got all our questions answered it felt that no subject would be a problem. He is a very open man, pleasant and smart. I can more than recommend his services. He is also a very good driver. Thank you Christophe for this memorable day.Written 11 November 2024
- DavidM242890 contributionsExcellent Introduction to Our Time in KrakowWe went on a three hour walking tour with Christopher. He seemed extremely knowledgeable. We felt like we saw a lot of sights in the Jewish Quarter and the Old Town in a short amount of time. There was time for a short coffee break halfway through the tour. Christopher was personable and was able to keep us moving without it feeling at all rushed. All in all it was a great introduction at the beginning of our stay in Krakow. Highly recommend.Written 4 November 2024
- Paula R0 contributionsBrilliantly well organised tripWe’ve just returned from our tour and it was so well organised. Denis drove us around very considerately and ensured we were aware of where we needed to be and what to do at all times. Patricia our guide was incredibly informative and gave us all huge insights into the history of the sites and could answer all of our questions. We were very grateful to be on a private tour with her and not in one of the larger groups as we got much more of a personal experience.Written 2 November 2024
- markwQ6065MI0 contributionsChristopher is exceptional!Christopher was exceptional. He greeted us at the train station and drove us to Krakow. He shared with us the fascinating and in-depth history of Krakow while visiting a variety of areas in the city. He then drove us to our Auschwitz’s tour and during the drive was answering all of our questions. He waited for us to complete our tour and then took us back to the train station, making certain we got onto the correct train. Christopher has a terrific personality and vast amount of knowledge. We would absolutely ask for him again.Written 23 October 2024

Christopher and his team guided us in Krakow, Auschwitz and Warsaw. They didn't just point out areas of interest. They shared a depth of knowledge and perspective that was so impressive. Their service and attention to us, our questions and needs, were outstanding. We left Poland with an immense admiration for the country and a much more informed citizen of the world.Written 19 October 2024
- 376helainel0 contributionsKrakow Experience 2024My daughters and I spent the first part of the day with Christopher who picked us up at our airbnb in Karakow and drove us to Auschwitz. He was so friendly, patient and knowledgeable (and a good driver!). He was very interested in our motivation to visit Poland, our thoughts and impressions as he shared his insight into Polish history and culture. We spent the later part of the day with Joanna who took us through the Schindler Factory and Jewish Quarter. It was quite an emotional and exhilarating day thanks to the professionalism of Christopher and Joanna. Krakow is an amazing city and they made it even better! Thank you!!Written 16 October 2024
- Carol_Kaz0 contributionsExceptional Private Tour with Christopher – Highly Recommend! We recently took a private tour to Auschwitz and Birkenau with Christopher, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience! From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, he provided an informative and engaging overview of the areas we drove through, and he was more than happy to answer any questions we had. Christopher’s knowledge extended beyond Auschwitz itself, as he also shared helpful tips and even assisted us with making a restaurant reservation. Once at Auschwitz, Christopher introduced us to our guide, Simon, who led us through a deeply detailed tour of the sites. Simon’s information made the experience incredibly real and impactful. Though it was a very emotional visit, Simon’s insight allowed us to fully understand the horrors that prisoners at Auschwitz and Birkenau endured. After the tours, Christopher was waiting for us, ready to take us back to our hotel. The return journey was just as pleasant, with more conversation about Poland and its history. Christopher’s extensive knowledge isn’t limited to Auschwitz—he offers tours all over Poland and even has expertise in genealogical research. With my husband’s family being from Poland, we’re planning to reach out to him again for help in exploring our ancestry. We highly recommend Christopher for any private tours in Poland and will definitely be contacting him for future trips. His professionalism, friendliness, and expertise made our visit truly memorable! Thank you so much Christopher!Written 15 October 2024
- bcromar0 contributionsAn excellent experience all aroundOur group of four wanted a private and reflective tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau, so we researched options and luckily found Christopher. He was excellent from start to finish. Christopher’s knowledge of Polish history added a great background as we drove to the site. Our on-site tour was led by an Auschwitz guide, and we were able to get inside some of the buildings that the general tours don’t go to. Everyone in our group agreed that being on a private tour made the experience that much more meaningful. Christopher is knowledgeable, friendly and an all-around good person. After the trip he booked restaurant reservations for us at two memorable restaurants. I highly recommend Christopher as an outstanding go-to person when visiting Krakow.Written 14 October 2024
- AlejoHouston0 contributions3 great tours! We booked 3 tours with Christopher and they were all great! Our first tour was an unusual tour request- I wanted to start in Wroclaw, visit 2 small villages where my ancestors emigrated from, stop at Lambinowice POW camp museum and get dropped off in Krakow. Christopher was able to organize this for me and we had a great driver for the trip. Next we did a day trip to the salt mines with Christopher as our driver. He is such an interesting guy- we wish we could have done a walking tour with him. Our final tour was to Auschwitz and we again had a great driver. I texted Christopher later asking for the name of a restaurant he had recommended and he offered to make the reservation for me! We enjoyed Krakow so much that we plan to return in a few years- I'll definitely contact Christopher again if we decide to take day tripsWritten 9 October 2024

Christopher was an incredible host and is full of knowledge. He offers options tailored to your trip and is very flexible. He helped myself and my husband come up with a plan to visit Auschwitz while entertaining our children as we did not want to take them inside the museum. He truly went above and beyond. He arrived on time and his vehicle was sparkling clean and comfortable. Our trip to Poland was short this time, but the next time we visit, we will absolutely contact Christopher to have him help us organize our plans and accompany us for another tour.

The tour Christopher organised for us met all expectations. Our driver/guide T(h)omasz gave us a preview on the history so we arrived well prepared at Auschwitz.
We specifically requested for a private guide for the 2 of us, the guide you arranged for us was great! I am happy that we had her just for the 2 of us, good interaction.
As an additional service, Christopher suggested some restaurants, Fiorentina was great, we loved it. I may even think we got a kind of VIP treatment 😀 Table at the window, and as the only one in the restaurant, my wife was offered a stool to put her handbag.. maybe the fact that you made the reservation has something to do with it 😀🤔
Thank you for the experience.

Amazing Tour! Christopher is great. We had a 1/2 day tour with him then the Auschwitz tour. he is knowledgeable and extremely friendly! We got a full experience in Auschwitz and Birkenau (though with a Auschwitz guide in the camp by camp rules). He described the history, personalities and stories behind the camp. We also got a lot of history of Poland as well as friendly advice on restaurants, other sights, trips outside Poland - he knows it all and is willing to share - great time.

Christopher and Thomas were excellent to work with.
I had very limited time in Poland and wanted to see a couple of things, including Auschwitz.
Both Christopher and Thomas were both tremendously accommodating, made excellent use of my time and made the trip as easy as possible. They made certain that everything was timed and managed to maximize our day.
Hotel pick up, drop off at Airport, and made a couple of great recommendations for other things to do with our time that day. The Salt mine tour was amazing, thanks so much for the recommendation.

This private tour was fantastic. Perfectly planned from A to Z. Christopher did the impossible - we contacted him a week before the trip or so and he still managed to arrange a private tour. And the tour itself was great since he is a very knowledgeable and professional guide.
The ground transfers he arranged for us were also great. He will be your reliable support while in Poland so please contact him if you're looking for the best service

We had a wonderful experience on this tour. Our guide picked us up from our hotel and drove us to Auschwitz. On the road and at the site, he explained the history and answered all of our questions. He was extremely knowledgeable. While it was a somber visit, this was an important part of our trip and our guide made it a highlight.

We booked a private tour and our tour guide was absolutely amazing, he picked us up from our hotel and took us to Auschwitz, sadly we didn’t get the tour guides name but he was so knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. He was so passionate about the history and taught us things that we would never have known or heard of. Obviously it’s a very very sad place to go but we were both glad that we went and experienced it. I would highly recommend a private tour.
