About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- helensV4429VD0 contributionsHighly recommendHighly recommended. Every detail was thought through and communicated well. Our driver picked us up direct from the apartment. Tour was so impactful with a wonderful guide. Such an important thing to do.Written 16 December 2024
- gabriellT6304WK0 contributionsNoteworthy experience. The Salt Mines was nice adventure that’s a must see if you’re in this side of the earth. But for the tour company, I guessed you get what you paid for. You basically do things on your own. The anxiety of missing those train rides back and forth the city of origin and finding your way in the city of Krakow. Might be a good adventure for the young able ones but a little stressful for the older fun seekers. Simply put they just provide you with transportation which is a lot cheaper getting it yourself. The guy who was to pick us up in the train station was almost 30 minutes late too. Being let loose in Krakow was a welcome experience though for we were able to explore the city and see all those historical places using that golf buggy which I highly recommend. The train was good too and very prompt. Will I hire this company again if I ever get back to Poland, maybe no . But will I recommend them, will great hesitation, maybe if it’s your first time.Written 3 December 2024
- GlobalGadfly0 contributionsEast was to see Majdanek and Lublin from WarsawWe took a private trip from Warsaw to Majdanek and Lublin old town. We were give a round trip ticket Warsaw/Lublin, met by a taxi once there and driven to Majdanek. The site was included and we were given a good guide book, though there is plenty of signage. Our taxi took us back to the Lublin old town tourist info and got us settled. We had several hours in our own to enjoy the town and tour the Castle with the Holy Trinity Church filled with Russian Byzantine frescoes- a real jewel box. At the end of the day our taxi met us and took us about 15-20 minutes away to the train station. It was seamless and you can do all this without a guide.Written 18 September 2024
- 939gracieharr0 contributionsThank you for the memoriesOlga was so helpful with what we needed, which included a transfer from Budapest to Krakow, Auschwitz’s and Salt Mine and finally a transfer from Krakow to Salzburg. Darius picked us up at our hotel in Budapest, which started not great since the van he had was small for the luggage’s we had. The van was comfortable for us. Darius went above and beyond when we got to Krakow and finding out that I booked our hotel for the wrong year. He didn’t leave until we were able to settle everything with the hotel. The following day Darius picked us up for our Auschwitz’s and Salt Mine Tour then he dropped us off and picking up the luggage for two family members who had to move to another hotel. The following day Darius was on time to pick us up and take us to Salzburg. Once again he made sure we were all settled before he left the hotel. We had the best experience with Poland Travel Tours. Thank you to Olga and Darius for making our trip memorable.Written 15 September 2024

- F2594DDelenac0 contributionsExcellent serviceI wish to thank Olga for her excellent service. She is very dedicated and explained everything to its minute detail. She organised a private tour for tree top, Zakopane and thermal baths. The day was remarkable and Jarek was absolutely amazing and flexible.Written 3 September 2024
- Navigate7022200 contributionsPolandTravel-a fantastic way to see experience PolandI can't say enough about how great Poland Travel was for our tours. From the organization to answering all of my questions and to our amazingly friendly drivers (Robert and Tomak) they truly made our time in Poland memorable. The organization of the tours was great. We were picked up from our AirBnB at a time conveinent to us and then taken to the various tour sites that we visited. Along the way our drivers did a great job of telling us a bit about Poland and sharing their expeiences of living there. I was a great way to get a sense of Poland and my family and I can't wait to go back. I would highly recommend Poland Travel for anyone wanting to visit Poland and I know that we will use them again when we return.Written 9 August 2024
- elainedJ6455NF0 contributionsJasna Gora (Black Madonna)The coordination was poor. I bought the tour directly from Poland Travels. Our group consisted of 11 people, and they charged us more per person than those with smaller groups without providing any explanation. The coordinator promised to send me the driver's phone number the day before the tour in an email, but she failed to do so. This lack of communication was irresponsible, especially considering that as tourists, we might have trouble finding the meeting spot without a contact form, and there is no other way to contact anyone at 7:00 am in the morning, which was the time we were required to be at the meeting spot. During the tour, the driver provided no instructions regarding time management. He simply handed us over to the local guide and instructed us to meet him back at the bus when the guided tour finished. This instruction did not take into consideration that the tour included 1.5 hours of guided tour and an additional one hour of free time in Jasna Gora. The local guide gave us a detailed tour of the place and shared the history of the Black Madonna. We also had the opportunity to visit the chapel and the church, both of which were beautiful. This part of the tour was truly enjoyable. However, the driver failed to provide any instructions regarding the meeting time for our return to Krakow. I had to find the driver at the parking lot to ensure that we could utilize our free time. He repeatedly insisted that we return to the bus as soon as possible, preferably in less than one hour. In my opinion, the tour coordination was poor. It might have been better to pay for two Uber cars round trip and independently pay for the guided tour at the Shrine. In this way it would have been possible to stay as long as we wanted to explore the area.Written 29 July 2024
- B2991VEkimv0 contributionsGreat private transportation with an incredible driver, Barton. Excursions were breathtaking and must see!Bartos was our driver and he was top notch. He helped us into both tours, told us exactly what to do and even helped us with a snafoo of not bringing my dtrs ID bc in the states younger (<18) kids don't really need them. He chatted when we wanted to and let us sleep when we were tuckered out. He gave us some great recommendations which we followed the next day on our free day and they did not disappoint. Great uman and tour liason. We also felt fancy booking our tour which included private hotel pick-up/all relocations, and tours. Not to mention a quick food pitstop he discovered we needed by checking on us. Must book with them!Written 23 July 2024
- Escape609029834800 contributionsAuschwitz tourThank you for guiding me on the Auschwitz tour the other day. As a Japanese visitor in Poland for work, I decided to join this tour and I'm glad I did. It was a truly enriching experience. The guide provided excellent insights and visiting such historically significant sites was invaluable. I also appreciated the support from the tour company via email, accommodating my various requests. Despite not speaking Polish, using an app helped me communicate smoothly with the driver for transfers, which was very reassuring. Seeing things firsthand made me realize there were aspects I couldn't fully grasp just from hearing about them. This experience deepened my reflection on the importance and lessons of history. If I have the opportunity to return to Poland, I would definitely consider booking another tour with your company.Written 1 July 2024

- Flugelgal0 contributionsVery GoodWe booked a trip for a party of 12 from Krakow to Auschwitz/Birkenau. The driver was bang on time to collect us from our hotel and she was very polite and helpful. The minibus was very clean with plenty of room for the 12 of us. The guide we had round Auschwitz was very knowledgeable, but slightly impatient with my husband who has a prosthetic leg so couldn’t walk as quickly as the guide wanted him to. After both tours, our driver was waiting to take us back to Krakow without having to wait around. Overall a very good trip.Written 5 June 2024
- 799stuk0 contributionsPoland Travel: Excellent help in planning, excellent tour and excellent guideIf you are traveling to Poland, Poland Travel is a great tour operator. Olga was wonderful and patient in helping me plan. We've had many tours and many private guides around the world. and Krystian and Woltek are among the best! In Poland, my wife and I also had tour booked through Viator - the contrast was immense . Although Viator has been a great tour provide in other locations, the tour operator they use in Poland (at least on tht tours I took) was far less than satisfactory and did not compare to Poland Travel!Written 25 May 2024

- Rasha B0 contributionsExcellent 8 Day Tour of PolandI booked an 8 day tour of Poland with Olga, including stays in Krakow, Warsaw, and Gdansk. We were able to cover a lot of the major sites of Poland in 8 days with the help of friendly and knowledgeable tour guides. Ewa in Auschwitz and Zakopane, and Artur in Warsaw, were especially wonderful. Poland is a beautiful country with a deep history, and its people were very accommodating and kind. Despite the war in neighboring Ukraine, at no point did we feel unsafe or threatened. I wholeheartedly recommend this travel company for a tour of Poland, and I definitely recommend Poland as a touristic destination.Written 30 March 2024
