Better off going directly don’t waste your money and time
You’re better off going directly you don’t need their audio there’s audios there along with the tickets,it’s a waste of money and time as the audio provided by the seller is just of the outside buildings

Beware of what you are buying - read the description
Please ensure you read the detailed itinerary as this “TOUR” is not a tour, what you are doing is renting the audio guide kit NOT entry to the buildings. You can walk freely round them and listen to the guide but you cannot enter any building without buying a ticket on site. I would just buy the entry tickets and enter buildings and not rent the kit. The offering should be entitled Audio Guide for Wawel Castle and Hill. It should exclude the word TOUR.

    Waste of money
Read the information good, befor ordering this trip. The only thing u r paying for is a pre recorded audio-guide for 2 hours use, not tickets. I do not recommend this, as it's an unnecessary expense. I recommend going to Wawel Castle and walking around. It's free to enter and walk around the compounds of Wawel Castle. And take as many pictures as u want. But by using the audio-guide, u have a to hours restriction, because their equipment as to be returned. It's not enough time to walk around the compound, take pictures, and buy tickets to actually see the inside the bildings of the castle.

A very good museum in general about Krakow and its inhabitants and the surrounding area during WW2. We'll worth a visit as this will set the scene if you are planning to visit Auschwitz. No requirement for a guide as there is plenty to read and reflect upon without having to be pushed or pulled along. We paid for Skip the Line tickets, and again a waste of time. As quite rightly so and due to their fire regulations, you will have to queue. Albeit a short time anyway, nothing to be annoyed about. We used Krakow Booking for our tickets and was informed that we were to give our printed voucher to their waiting representative and we would receive our tickets. However, they fail to mention that they don't actually send anyone and email you your tickets on the day. Not what you need when they keep failing to add the tickets as an attachment. Eventually we did get in 45 minutes later with the help of a very kind representative from anouther reputable booking company who was present. Unfortunately, I did not get their name. In short, just turn up and pay on the door.

Very good we would have liked to see part of the factory out the back which was a disappointment not to see.

Some staff very rude and unhelpful. One member of staff stunk of BO the worse I have ever smelt in my life she was also very very rude. Most staff spent their time looking at their phones !

No problem with ticket operator who change booking time at the last minute. We bought skip the queue tickets so just walked in about 15 minutes before our allotted time. The museum is set out on a one-way, set-route system. We came at this time of year to avoid crowds - how wrong we were. You either get caught behind a group, have to push past groups or get sandwiched between several. We found it made us hurry to avoid being trampled under foot. Plus, most of these groups were school-age; so not entirely engaged in the subject matter. We had highlighted 'Schindler's List' to watch before we came but didn't find the time. We should have done because we left the museum being none the wiser. It is, however, a good representation of German occupation. On the way back to the airport our driver asked about what we visited. He said most tourists had the same opinion - obviously not reflected in Trip Advisor reviews though.

I was looking forward to this, following a marvellous experience the day before at the salt mine.

How disappointing! Very poorly organised, from trying to book an English speaking tour; not possible on line.

We were staying 18 minutes walk from the factory, so decided to just go and find out what is going on.

The door security guy said we have to line up to get tickets. About an hour and a half later, we were inside and purchased tickets. I asked for an English guide group but that didn’t happen. At least on the tour, everything was written in Polish and English.

Lots of pictures on the walls, lots of text, a few room cameos, nothing of the factory and no enamelling.

The best part was a short movie, which sort of explained the story of Oscar Schindler and the factory.

My advice would be to skip this place, but DO NOT miss the salt mines.

I love the idea of the museum, but several issues weren’t considered in its development. The first problem was the traffic flow. There was not enough room to maneuver through the museum and take in all it had to offer. This especially became a problem when you got stuck behind a tour group; there was no room to move by them. So you had to wait until they finished using the space. Some corridors were so narrow, and that wouldn’t have been a problem if you were just moving from one exhibition to another, However, they had a lot of pictures and information on the walls of those corridors but little space to stop and take them in. The second problem was that there was so much information. It’s all good but it got extremely overwhelming. I think in the creation of the museum they could have been more focused in the information they chose and still have achieved their educational goals. Lastly, it was so poorly organized at the entrance of the museum, and ticket sales is confusing. I bought a ’skip the line’ ticket on-line, and wished I hadn’t. I bought one for an 11:30 am entrance and found at a the museum door when I tried to enter that my ticket actually had a different entrance time of 12:10 pm. Had I not already bought a ticket I could have easily bought one at the door and got in when I arrived. So forego the ’skip the line’ ticket and just get it at the door.

The museum itself is nice. The ticket booking is a nightmare. We booked a ticket on TripAdvisor with skip the line. There is actually no "skip the line" as no one told us not to queue because there was a man with our ticket somewhere.

So : find a random guy who has your tickets but is not a guide nor working for the museum.

Visit on your own.

Very informative. We didn’t give ourselves enough time to really spend reading everything. A good overview of the war years in Krakow itself . Would be good to do before a trip to Auschwitz.
We walked from the old town which itself was lovely .
