        Fantastic tour with Martin
This was a fantastic tour because “Martin” is a tremendous guide. He knows his history and the City, is a good driver, is funny ans well ans informative, and has the perfect personality to make a tour memorable. He took us out of his way to drop us off at the Jewish history museum where we wanted to go after the tour. Could not recommend this tour more highly. My husband and I are still talking about things he shared with us!!

I highly recommend this fun & informative tour!
My husband & I throughly enjoyed the Best of Warsaw private mini bus tour this morning/afternoon. We saw and learned so much. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting in his presentation of the historical events throughout the years. We would highly recommend this tour! How nice to be picked up from our hotel and then dropped off in Old Town Warsaw so we could have lunch and explore a bit on our own.

Fabulous tour around Warsaw in Zuk van with fantastic guide
Fantastic tour around Warsaw in a beautifully restored Zuk van. We covered so many different historical perspectives and places. Our guide, Martin, is extremely knowledgeable and great fun. We saw much more of the city than we had expected and enjoyed every second of the tour. Exceptional value for money.

A wonderful experience of the story of Warsaw’s history.
Four of us had a fabulous time this morning with Martin as he showed us the sights and told us the facts which brought to life the story of Warsaw. It was an interactive combination of driving, asking lots of questions and jumping out to see historical locations. Martin recommended some good authentic eating options for us too for the rest of our stay. We would thoroughly recommend this tour!

        Incredibly insightful WWII tour
This was an incredibly insightful review of Warsaw and World War II. I particularly liked how Marcin would answer our specific questions (sometimes unrelated to WWII) and get into a deep conversation and relate it to post-WWII Poland and today. I’d highly recommend it for any WWII history fan or anyone wanting to learn more about the authentic history of Warsaw.

Somber reflection on the destructive forces evil.
Our guide was very engaging with a great overview of Warsaw’s history. The tour was a somber reflection of the destructive forces of evil, but also a glimpse of the power of rebirth from war.

        Fun and informative!
The tour was a lot of fun - well-paced, tons of interesting facts, and with a variety of time periods covered. Our guide Arturo was very friendly and adaptable- he asked us about our interests and was flexible to adapt to our needs.

Really interesting tour and our guide was a good laugh! Plenty of info about WW2 that I didn't know. The old Zuk minivan also added a fun element to the tour. We bought our tickets directly from the website to save them some fees.

This is the tour for you!
A MUST DO ACTIVITY in Warsaw. Martin is a genuine and super friendly guide, who really cares about your experience. Travelling around in the Uke is a lot of fun, but most importantly this experience provides valuable insight into why Warsaw is why it is today. If you want to really peer behind the scenes and learn about the history of this fascinating city in an engaging way, this tour is 💯 recommended!

We had our tour with Art and he was one of the best tour guides we have ever had! We learned a lot about Soviet times and WWII times in Poland. The photos he shows you when you are at the historic site really help understand the change Warsaw has seen in the last 70 years. He made the tour a lot of fun and showed us the important sites and monuments for WWII. But he explained them as well - he told great stories and tied them with historical facts so it really sunk in. The retro minibus was fun too and we did not have to walk very much which was good for our tour group after a long day. This was a truly amazing tour and I would do it again!

Wow. We have been travelling for 6 weeks across Europe on a WWII tour, and this by far takes the cake for being the best tour. Our guide was not only extremely kind, personable and funny he was incredibly informative and passionate about history. He provides photos/viewings of books of what certain areas looked like during the war, it is incredibly helpful when taking in such important/dark history that can be difficult to truly understand. We learnt so much and have walked away wanting to learn more/research some of the heroes mentioned on our tour/watch more movies. I highly recommend this tour and would even do it again in future.

Tip: I recommend doing this at the beginning of your Warsaw travels, your guide gives you fantastic advice on other museums to explore.

Arthur was an amazing guide! He had so much knowledge and context for the specific experiences that Warsaw underwent during WWII. He started from the beginning of Polish history and how they aligned themselves politically through out the years. We visited the walls of the ghetto and he explained the vastness of the Jewish community in the area and Poland as a country. He also did a wonderful job explaining the architecture of the historic areas that had been destroyed in WWII as well as the communist influence and the modern additions to the city sky line. Recommend 100%. We took a tour the previous day and did not get an iota of what we got out of this tour. Trip would not have been complete without this tour. He also answered all my annoying questions :)

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour, time flew by with guide Marc who was so informative and insightful. Saw places we wouldn’t have found on our own and got a better understanding of how war and communism impacted the city, often literally. Very moving, I can see the city with different eyes now.

First off our guide, Art, picked us up at our hotel in a vintage 60 year old Polish Fire Truck. Our journey through time in that vehicle alone was worth the price of the tour. Art tailored our tour to our needs, limited mobility, on we got to see and experience more than we could have hoped for. Art's unique knowledge of the former Ghetto took us to places that aren't listed on any map. We even got a chance to see the narrowest home in the world. A must see if ever in Warsaw.

An amazing tour of WWII Warsaw history. Marcin was very friendly and knowledgeable about all things Warsaw, plus giving a deeper level explanation of WWII events. The van added a fun aspect to the tour and allows you to see a lot of the city. Definitely recommend this tour. 10/10!

Amazing private tour for those who have knowledge of WWII and those who don’t. Pickup was on time and started immediately, everything was thorough and our guide was extremely knowledge. He tailored the tour to my questions which was fantastic. We did the tour in the last day of our trip and wish we’d have done it on the first. Our guide pointed out things we had walked by a few times and had no prior knowledge of the significance.

The tour will also take you to areas around Warsaw we would have never gone to or found ourselves. Highly recommend!

Our guide was amazing, answered every question we had and more. The history of Warsaw is so extensive and there is so much to learn. It was beautiful and insightful going around seeing alot of major landmarks in Warsaw and getting the history behind them. There is no way you can see the city with any other method that is more interesting especially with the history background.

Excellent tour! Marcin knows all the details and stories and shared them with us on a 3.5 hour rainy day! We had a great time seeing the many sights associated with the Warsaw Ghetto and the Warsaw Uprising. So much interesting history packed into one morning. Great tour if you want to see all the places you have read about. Marcin owns several really cool old communist vans and the one we were it was so cool- retro, basic 1946 technology in a 1990 made vehicle! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have had many guided tour, but this might have been the best.
The guide, Marcin, was very knowledgeable, inspiring and well articulated. Apart from a brilliant presentation of the history, he also managed to link the history with the present. This gave new perspectives and understandings of current situations.
The combination of standing at the historic scenes and the old photos made the history come alive. 'Digging up' old bricks and other building materials from the ghetto grounds was an emotional strong experience that brought the history up to today.
Hopefully the future will present me with opportunities to join other tours offered by Warsaw Behind the Scenes.
I can strongly recommend this tour!
