          Great afternoon cycling Trip
Best food, best landscape and swimming in the lake at the end of the cycling tour. Relaxing atmosphere, I recommend it.

Probably the best tour we have ever done - Excellent
Tine picked us up from our city center hotel in his private car and we expected we might be going to a local restaurant in Ljubljana but oh no we were going to his home village approx 30 minutes drive where we were warmly welcomed and shown through to the dining room. Where are the others we thought but again oh no - it was a private dinner for the 2 of us. Tine was the owner, our driver, guide and wine/food connoisseur. His mother came out to introduce herself and to bring the still warm newly baked bread that would accompany our meal. Tine asked if we had any food allergies before explaining each of our 4 courses with emphasis on seasonal local produce. He recommended wines (not included) and he was very informative on his recommendations which we followed and were certainly not disappointed with our wine choices. All the food was exceptional and even the olive oil and pumpkin seed dressings had been carefully selected to compliment our food. We spent a super evening not just eating and drinking the wines but in conversation with Tine about his family history and his business ambitions. There are old photographs of his grandparents, great grandparents and other relatives and friends dating back over the years which he talked about with passion. Overall superb night and Tine was an excellent host We returned by car to our hotel having enjoyed a memorable Slovenian dinner and hospitality Highly recommend this .

          Don’t Miss This Fantastic Tour
This tour went beyond my expectations! Tine was the perfect host, going above and beyond to make sure that my friends and I had a wonderful experience. He’s so easy to talk to and full of knowledge about Slovenia. From our morning fill of various salamis/pork products to a special treat of bee pollen, playing the “guess the juice game,” learning about picking mushrooms in the forest, and ending the tour with a visit to his family’s inn (with MORE delicious food and wine), this tour did not disappoint! I hope to return and go on another adventure with Tine.

          Everything was perfect!!
Tine was our guide and did a fantastic job of introducing all of the key sights across Jeruzalem and Soca Valley. He had a good sense of humour. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this tour especially on your first day as it will give you a great experience along with so many other places to visit. I would recommend this tour to anyone that wants to see the highlights of beautiful Slovenia with an informative guide that explains a bit of history and recommendations for a stay in the city. Thank you Tine for an amazing day sightseeing around part of Slovenia.

Highlight of our trip to Slovenia
We spent almost two weeks in Slovenia, and cycling through the Ljubljana marshes area with Tine was definitely the highlight of our trip. As others have said, he is an excellent guide in every way. We felt so lucky to be able to ride through the green countryside within sight of the Alps, and we enjoyed a delicious traditional lunch by Lake Podpec. I wish we had booked more tours with Tine.

          Excellent!
We were picked up by car from our holiday appartment by Tine (who is also co-owner, chef, guide, wine adviser!). The meal was great, Tine checked first that we liked the ingredients of the dishes, these were seasonal and local. He suggested a choice of local wines, the one we agreed on was just to our taste - nicknamed 'Horses' Blood'. If we re-visit Slovenia we would definitely book again - and maybe next time join a vineyard/wine tasting tour. Thank you for a lovely evening Tine.

Fantastic way to experience Slovenian cuisine and country life
We booked this through the Ljubljana tourist centre and had modest expectations given it sounded quite touristy, but it largely exceeded our expectations. Tine and his girlfriend Tea came to pick our party of 5 up from our apartment in Ljubljana and drove us 20-25 minutes to Tine's family inn in Dolsko, Gostilna Vegov Hram. Its a B&B with 12 rooms. Throughout the ride, Tine was very helpful with explaining the area we were driving through. When we got to the inn, it was still early so we took a short walk around the town - the other option is to rent bicycles from them and cycle for a bit. The restaurant itself was very charming, its walls adorned with 3 or 4 generations of Tine's family who had built the hotel and restaurant. We were served delicious 5-course meal, and Tine took care to ask before the meal if there was anything any of us could not eat (there was) and he promptly discussed with the kitchen to make the necessary changes. The food itself was very good, and portions far too generous, but to be honest it was something we could have gotten in a similar Gostilna in the city. What made this experience special was the personal interaction. Before serving each dish, Tine would explain what it was, how it was made, the ingredients used, etc., and in between courses he would share little stories about the history of the family business as well as other interesting facts about Slovenia. He also gave us a mini introduction to the various Slovenian wines and the three types of oils - sunflower, pumpkin and olive oil - used in Slovenian cuisine. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience something more than just a meal... This is a family business so Tine's brother (who looks just like him) was working behind the bar, and we weren't sure if the person cooking was his mother or his sister but decided not to ask.

          Incredible Cultural Experience!
There are no adequate words to express how incredible Tine's tour was--from the beginning to the end. My husband and I went on Tine's Jeruzalem Wine tour and we were lead through beautiful vineyards and farms. We were able to taste wine and learn the history of the east part of Slovenia. The tour was impeccably planned, entirely personal, and outrageously fun! I would recommend it again and again to anyone visiting Slovenia. We did not want to leave!!

culinary cycle ride and traditional slovenian lunch!
Tina was an amazing host, taking us on a breath-taking tour of the countryside around Ljubljana, via some local producers of honey, apple juice and fruit. The landscape was incredible, and he was a perfect gentleman. The cycle time was the perfect amount to feel energised and fulfilled. At the end we had a hearty, traditional lunch, courtesy of his family restaurant. We met his whole family who were charming. The food was fantastic and I would recommend to anyone!!

Amazing experience of real Slovenian country life!
This was an excellent tour, hosted by the wonderful Tine. We enjoyed delicious, traditional Slovenian food (homemade sausages, cheese, honey, apple juice and strawberries) and met some wonderful local people who were generous with their time and shared the secret of their talents. We also got a magnificent view of the beautiful Slovenian countryside. We finished our tour with a relaxing lunch and great wine and conversation. It couldn't be better! Tine is a knowledgeable and friendly guide and I can wait to return to try another of his fantastic tours.

Good honey, better cheese and the best sausages
Wanted to try something differenet with friends so we decided to go for a culinary tour. We had a great time tasting the local food and observing the beautiful surroundings. All in all it was a great day which we decided to prolong in to the evening in Vegov hram, where we entertained ourselves with some good red wine.

Ljubljana Countryside Honey, Cheese & Sausage Adventure
The title of this tour doesn't really capture what a wonderful experience it is. Tour guide, Tine Zupančič, is a lovely young man who is enthusiastic about the outdoors and Slovenia. We had the complication of one person with an injured knee who could not easily walk. Tine customized this full day tour for us. He picked us up in Ljubljana and we drove to a charming village farmhouse in Volavlje where we had a traditional Slovenian breakfast of Turkish coffee, freshly baked brown bread, cheese, thinly sliced cured ham, sausage and pickles. The meat was all from the village. We also chatted with an old man who was outside distilling pears into pear schnapps (not part of the tour but an interesting discussion that Tine translated). We then drove on narrow winding roads through the most beautiful valleys where all the leaves were turning yellow and red, past farms and villages with their red tiled roofs, and over hills where small white churches perched. We could see the snow-topped Austrian alps in the distance. We visited an organic honey farm that has 240 bee families and sampled different honey flavours; another farm to sample organic apple juice, fresh walnuts and dried apples; and a restaurant on the top of a high hill to sample apple strudel. The final highlight was a visit to Tine's own village and family hotel and restaurant where we had a delicious lunch of traditional Slovenian foods. Needless to say, we were very very full. Tine has at least 10 tours he has created many of which involve hiking, biking, swimming and exploring the outdoors. He is willing to create tour for all ages and fitness levels. If you are interested in an adventure off the beaten track, I highly recommend checking Tine's tours.

          Fantastic day!
I joined the group on the "honey, cheese and sausages adventure" tour. It was amazing tour with the best food I`ve ever tried in my life. Especially the honey products. I would recommend this tour to anyone that would like to see Slovenia as it is... and I ashore you it is wonderful, really worth seeing.

A perfect way to discover Slovenia
We were in Ljubljana for a conference and heard about LB&T at the tourist center. We could not write review in June when we were there as it had not yet made it to TripAdvisor. We arranged a morning hike. This included being picked up at our hotel, coffee, and lunch after the hike with return transportation to our hotel. Beautiful views and constant insights into Slovenian history and culture. Superb food and many surprises both natural and built.
