- Kathtravels680 contributionsExcellent Tour of Ljubljana! Our tour with Tjasa was excellent, fun & informative. We covered all the main sites as well as off the beaten track streets highlighting hidden gems of points of interest, wine bars & restaurants. Tjasa also gave us great recommendations for our onward journey to Lake Bled and beyond. I would highly recommend Tjasa for your next tour in Ljubljana.Written 21 August 2024
- Eva972220 contributionsThree Hour Stroll Through Art And ArchitectureTerrific three hours in Zale - the main cemetery. Learned a lot of history from the graves and monuments. Tjasa was a wonderful guide and I highly recommend!Written 11 May 2024
- 759iliasb0 contributionsA worderful afternoon in LjubljanaWhat's better after a job meeting than a walking tour around the cute capital of Slovenia? We met the Dragon, admired Preseren Square, the bridges and the Church with the wonderful color, learnt about legends and facts, took the boat and tasted a local drink. If you want to see the essential of the city center, feeling a bit more color and fun in your soul, than a mainstream tour, then I highly recommend. Tjaša has thorough knowledge of her city and of course of the amazing work of Plečnik. We had a really interesting and pleasant tour and I was very happy that questions were created in my mind and I had enlightening answers :)Written 6 March 2024
- 759iliasb0 contributionsUnexpected and interestingWell, believe it or not cemeteries are very interesting and give us an insight of the living (or not so living) history of the place and also it is a very unique way to observe architecture, far away from the traffic, the noise and the passengers getting in front of your camera. You can see the resting place of famous people, thinking of their stories and their historical role and the way the religious beliefs form the art of sculpture. Also observe the class differences or the different philosophy of life (or after life), comparing rich and impressive tombs with simple ones. Tjaša has a specialty in transforming a visit to such place into a positive -and I could say colorful- experience.Written 6 March 2024
- vykye20000 contributionsImpressive Religious Landmark!Visited this church as part of a group tour. Massive and beautiful landmark. The cathedral doors have images carved into it including an image of the Pope looking out of the window, people of a bygone era, soldiers, church clergy etc. The is also a hidden image of the sculptor at the bottom of the door with a shiny nose. Didn’t get a chance to go inside. Will visit properly on my next visit to Ljubljana! Not to be missed!Written 8 May 2023
- Robyn A0 contributionsInsights into PlecnikWe knew very little about Plecnik but we are interested in architecture. The tour was terrific, informative and easy to navigate. The guide was charming and very very knowledgeable. We went to Plecnik‘s workshop afterwards and had a wonderful Morningstar at Lolita‘s.Written 4 January 2023
- Pija S0 contributionsGreat also for a localsThis has been a great experience for me as a local, discovering the city center in a brand new way. - LukaSkySlovenia0 contributionsExperiencing the deadly walk :)Our tourist guide Tjaša made the tour really enjoyable and a pleasant experience. We laughed a lot, considering it was a tour on a graveyard but were also impressed by all the interesting facts she knew about the people which were buried there. Slovenia has a really cool history when told by someone who know how to tell an interesting story.Written 27 July 2020

What a wonderful tour! We got a thorough review of Ljubljana’s history, some of its most important buildings, and the context of Jewish history and heritage in the city. Our tour guide really personalized our experience, very sensitive to our interests and going above and beyond what I think most tours are usually like. She was personable, very knowledgeable, and very pleasant. We highly recommend this tour, not just to learn about Jewish heritage, but also as an excellent walking tour of Ljubljana.
