Amazing evening
Aug 2020
Thomas has been amazing guide.
Last 20 years he was travelling around the world and learnt about wine industry.
He introduced us 8 types of wine, its location, history, production,
For future travellers I would said you must book this event in this cellar and go through your induction about wines.
Thomas was doing not only his job to introduce us wines, he put his heart and passion to presentation.
It was best evening in Budapest. The cellar location is the city centre, no problem to get there by many buses or trams.
Special thank you for Thomas who created perfect atmosphere and unforgettable evening.
I wanted to booked a dinner with this Wine Tasting unfortunately due to Covid19, restaurant was closed. Hope we can visit again in the future and we will have a chance to taste delicious dinner with wines as well.

Best night in town
Dec 2019 • Couples
Sebastian was amazing. We loved the atmosphere and small group nature of the tasting. He taught us an immense amount in the time we were there. We left having not only learned a ton about Hungarian wine but the overall process in general. Highly recommend for an evening out.

Amazing
Nov 2019 • Couples
The place is nice and cosy. Sebastian is a truly knowledgeable and passionate about vines. During our tasting we learned a lot about Hungary's history and its vine making regions. Lucky for us, we had a really lovely company as well, which added the cherry on top. Food was a perfect match with vines we tried. Definitely recommending if you are still thinking, you won't regret it :)

P.S get ready to lift some glasses :D

Excellent introduction to Hungarian wine
Oct 2019 • Couples
Having never tasted Hungarian wine before this was an excellent introduction. The location was great inside an old wine cellar, with a modern twist. Our guide was very knowledgeable and talked us through each of the 8 wines with ease. The platter of food with cheeses and charcuterie was lovely and matched the wines well. We made sure to eat something before we came as the platter isn’t really a full meal. You can see it in the photos other people had posted. The group all sat together on one table and we could all socialize in between tasting. Beforehand we thought it seemed a bit pricey- but after we left we thought it was worth every penny!

The best way to know Hungarian wine
Jul 2019 • Couples
My husband and me joined this tour. The very enthusiastic guide taught us Hungarian wines. We tasted one sparkling wine, 3 white wines, 3 red wines and a sweet wine. All of them were very good. We could enjoyed Hungarian cheeses and charcuterie. I knew only Hungarian sweet wine, but I could understand deep and lovely Hungarian wine world. I really recommend.

May 2019 • Couples
We heard about Taste Hungary from a friend who was recently in Budapest. We are really glad we booked a wine tasting with them. In addition to tasting several varities of wines, the Solmmelier provided a a lot of history about Budapest and Hungary. It was a great evening.

Brilliant selection of wines
Mar 2019 • Solo
Great fun as wine flowed very freely - 5 whites and 3 reds. Group had very little knowledge of Hungarian wines at the start of the evening but were all converted by the end of the evening. Eclectic range of customers which added to the evening as we were educated by our hosts
