This tour was a perfect combination to see the most importing sites in Budapest in a short time. It is almost impossible to have tickets to enter the Parliament building so I was so glad to find this option. To visit the building is a must!!! However it was audioguided I learned a lot about its history and about the political system. The evening cruise with a drink was unforgettable, highly recommended!!

We spent the Christmas holiday in Budapest and I booked this tour for my husband as a surprise. It was a great choice we loved every minute. Etyek city is only a short drive from Budapest, the wine cellar visit was amazing. Our guide, Susan was very friendly and informative. The traditional Hungarian dinner was so tasty and we had lots os fun with the sommelier. To see the evening the lights from the Danube river was breathtaking!

I booked the transfer online for a few days later, paid and I got the confirmation. The day of the pick up the taxi showed up with no car seat. The taxi driver was in a not collaborative attitude. We were struggling to get to the airport on time to not lose our flight. We were asking him for a solution when we suddenly left without offering us any decent alternative. Very rude driver and very unreliable service. Of course we didn't get a refund. Never again.

From the friendly and extraordinarily crew to the delicious meals to the beautiful ship—decorated for Christmas—to the excellent land tours and local guides, this experience was everything I’d been looking forward to for a couple of years…and MORE! Four female family members traveling together, we opted for two lowest floor staterooms and were not disappointed. In the cold winter season, we didn’t spend any time in our rooms and didn’t need a balcony. The meals, including appetizers, drinks, and desserts, were directed toward each local region’s culture, and they were always so tasty and lovely. Every single crew member was over-the-top (in the nicest way) attentive and friendly, taking care of us 24/7. The local guides and tours were amazing. The European Christmas markets along the Rhine were as wonderful as we had imagined, with one caveat: I would prefer to have chosen to begin our cruise in Basel because the markets in Breisach, Freiburg, and Strasbourg had the highest quality, most locally-crafted items to buy. Getting closer to Amsterdam, however, the markets’ decorations were the most visually outstanding. I am totally enamored with the European approach to Christmas! If you are considering booking a Viking river cruise, my advice would be to choose a region you are really interested in because the programs are 100% tuned to education and enrichment of the area’s history and culture. Those Viking commercials on public television are NOT just hype!

From the moment of booking we were kept well informed and a query was answered quickly and efficiently. Driver introduced himself on WhatsApp telling us where he was parked and kept in touch whilst we were going through security. Very courteous and helped with our large cases. Highly recommended

We had a car reserved to pickup at airport and bring us to hotel intercontinental. Unfortunately my luggage was stolen. The representative Susana was able to talk the driver Attila into going out of his way and follow to track my luggage using air tags. The driver was very good at navigating rush hour traffic and helped track down luggage.

My friend and I went from Budapest to Vienna with Sidetrip Tours with a stop at Bratislava. However, we also made sidetrip tours to Szentendre, Esztergom and Gyor before stopping at Bratislava. I wanted to visit Gyor but didn't think we had the time. Were we ecstatic! Didn't know that was part of our itinerary! Didn't know about Szentendre, but happy to discover this quaint artistic village. Lots of little shops for shopaholic like us! Our guide, Csenge, was amazing. She communicated with me thru WhatsApp day before to tell me what to expect. And she was on time the following morning! An excellent driver and tour guide! I recommend Sidetrip Tours to everyone!

Our guides Thomas and Edith picked us up promptly at 7 AM from our hotel for our day trip from Budapest to Vienna. It’s roughly a 3 Hour drive by car. Upon arriving in Vienna, our first stop was at the Summer Palace for a tour of the palace and the grounds, then onto Market Square for a quick look around the Christmas market. Afterwards, we toured several churches then had a nice lunch followed by more sightseeing. Thomas and Edith definitely went above and beyond to make our trip worthwhile. I highly recommend this trip. I own a travel agency and booked the PRIVATE transfer from the cruise port to our hotel and it was fabulous. We were met in the lobby on the cruise and then taken to a gorgeous Tesla to our hotel. The car was immaculate! Very smooth ride with good information on our way to the hotel. I would definitely use them for my clients arriving via train, cruise, or plane. Very professional and friendly!

2 of our party missed a flight, they picked up original passenger then came back for the other 2 passengers a few hours later.

I made a last-minute booking for this tour when I realized I had a morning to spare, and I’m so happy I did! I received a message confirming my booking almost immediately, and the operator Susana was responsive throughout the whole process. I was a little wary at first about doing this tour on my own as a solo female traveller, but my tour guide Tom made me feel safe and well taken care of throughout. He tailored the itinerary in Bratislava according to what I wanted to do, shared lots of interesting information about the history of the region, and got me to Vienna International Airport right on time to get checked in for my flight. The journey was easy and comfortable, and I would definitely recommend doing this instead of braving the train station crowd to take the train!
