What to expect
  • Greet your knowledgeable guide at a central Tallinn location after disembarking your cruise ship, and climb aboard your luxurious, air-conditioned coach to commence your tour of the capital. Cruise past the verdant beauty of Kadriorg Park, home to the imperially majestic Kadriorg Palace, and venture within the regal residence for a short tour alongside your guide, optional and at an extra cost. Then, venture to the coastal district of Pirita to admire its gorgeous beaches and the crumbling ruins of the Pirita Convent. See the Song Festivals Grounds and hear of how globally renowned artists have performed there, then disembark your coach. Stretch your legs during an informative walking tour of Tallinn’s charming Old Town and discover the quaint landmarks that pepper the UNESCO World Heritage-listed enclave. Begin on the clifftop perch of the Upper Old Town and descend past quaint red-gabled roofs and splintering spires to Toompea Castle, a flagrant fortress that houses Estonia’s Parliament and the Tall Hermann Tower. Next, venture within the sacred interior of the Aleksander Nevsky Cathedral, a great example of ecclesiastical elegance that boasts the title of Estonia’s largest. After gazing at the interminable ceilings and prismatic stained glass windows, meander through the narrow cobbled streets of Lower Old Town to see one of Northern Europe’s only Gothic town halls. Bid your guide and group farewell in the Lower Old Town and make your own way back to your cruise port in time for your ship’s departure. Worry-free Shore Excursion: We ensure your excursion ends with ample time for you to return to the Tallinn Port for your ship's departure. In the extremely unlikely event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transport to the next port-of-call. If your ship is delayed and you are unable to attend this activity, your money will be refunded. See our terms and conditions for full details.

Interesting town well worth a visit
Aug 2019
Great place to visit, walled city with cobbled streets and no cars/buses, so best seen by foot!! There is a land train that takes you round parts of the town, after which you can decide where you want to walk to so you can see it in more detail/visit buildings.

Wet but worth it
Sep 2019
Our guide met us at the cruise ship terminal, just as we had been promised. We were just eight passengers in a new mini van. Ingrid, our tour guide was very informative.
She gave us lots of history on the people of Estonia and also told us about life in modern Estonia. She made sure to find us a clean bathroom stop and also found us a good place for a little shopping. She offered to find us a good place for lunch but no one was interested. I think we were a little too wet and windblown by that time. Our tour ended in the city rather than back at the cruise ship terminal. That came as a surprise. However, it was an easy walk back to the ship. Tallinn is beautiful and I would love to have spent more time there. Our only regret was that the weather for most of the walking part of our tour was wet and windy.

Kadi was Great!
Jul 2018
My wife and I did the Sightseeing Tour by Coach and Foot. We really enjoyed it. Kadi, our guide, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The bus driver was also nice. Kadi really loves her country and it is infectious. We were lucky to have a small group - in addition to my wife and I, there was a small group of pleasant ladies from Canada. We saw a lot of the city by bus and then had a great tour of the old town. I would highly recommend this tour if you are short on time or as an orientation to the city.
