Overview
A day showcasing the production of Bourbon from start to finish. Smelling the mash flow through the air, tasting from the cypress vats as they ferment future product, and walking through brickhouses that were built in the 1800's. You will find appreciation for the battle between mankind and creating the perfect Bourbon, from the perfect vantage point!
Highlights
  • Go behind the scenes of three Kentucky bourbon distilleries
  • Everything is planned for you—breakfast, lunch, and transport included
  • Skip the entrance lines at Woodford Reserve, Four Roses, and Wild Turkey
  • Enjoy bourbon tastings at each distillery after touring the grounds
What to Expect
This Kentucky Bourbon Trail tour meets in Lexington, where you board a comfortable shuttle bus for your adventure. Your first stop is at North Lime Coffee and Donuts to grab breakfast before the first distillery of the day—Woodford Reserve.
At Woodford Reserve enjoy a grounds tour and a tasting of its small-batch products.
Next up is Wild Turkey, for a private, exclusive tour of the grounds, and then stop for lunch at Wallace Station, a locally owned deli on the Bourbon Trail.
The last distillery of the tour is Four Roses. See how the bourbon is made and tour the grounds of the Spanish-Mission style distillery.
This Kentucky Bourbon Trail tour ends back at the original meeting spot in Lexington.

We had an excellent time learning about the making of bourbon and experienced exceptional bourbon-tasting opportunities at each distillery. Lots of fun for groups; but take a bus. No driving after the tastings:)

Thank you for the kind words! You sure can learn a lot out there! We would agree to leave the driving to the pros, so you can enjoy the tastings and not getting lost on the back roads of Kentucky! haha Cheers!

The Tates Creek address was correct when we went on the tour this spring. Just look for the Bottled in Bond party bus in the strip mall parking lot, and you'll be all set.
