    What to Expect
Both days of this 2-day tour begin at Union Station in Washington, DC. Climb on board a luxury motor coach for the historical sightseeing adventure of a lifetime, exploring the most famous landmark locations in and around our nation’s capital, Washington, DC. Please note that tours operate Tuesday through Saturday only.  Tours do not need to be taken on consecutive days.
One day, drive by the Washington Monument, the Tidal Basin and the J. Edgar Hoover Building from the coach. Make stops at the National World War II Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial and the White House Visitor Center, and receive a guided tour of the US Capitol Building (Mondays through Saturdays only).
Then proceed to the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery for the Changing of the Guard ritual by members of the U.S Third Infantry. Stop to see the John F. Kennedy Eternal Flame, then continue on to a number of important memorials — the Lincoln Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, the Women in Military Service for America Memorial Foundation, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Korean War Veterans Memorial.
The first day of the tour ends with a return trip to Union Station.
On the second of two days in Washington, DC, travel from Union Station to Mount Vernon, George Washington's beloved plantation in Virginia. Tour the mansion and the Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center, featuring 23 galleries and theaters where visitors learn about Washington through interactive displays, an action adventure movie, short films produced by the History Channel and more.
